Unfortunately never had any discussion about options and what coating would work best for what i want as well as pros/cons of different polyurethanes. A crew showed up, got right to work and left. After a couple days i noticed imperfections in a couple of the rooms so i reached back out to them. They were very quick to respond and sent the crew out the same day, they inspected the floors and ended up doing another coat at no cost. Floors came out great. Just wish there was a little more communication/information, but i would recommend them.

Crown tubs responded that it was the tenant's fault and they would not honor their warranty. WOW! DID I GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY JOHN W…read more I needed a modest amount of stain restoration on my kitchen cabinets. John quoted $1350 to restore the stain. It seemed high. However, John explained to me that he would have to dissemble panels from the most affected cabinets. He'd then take it back to his shop to carry out a color matching and refinishing process. I trusted John's explanation of the work required to do the job correctly. A year later, I was ready for him to do the work. When he began the job, I didn't see him dissemble any of the panels. Rather, he went straight to work with a mobile stain kit he brought. 3 hours later, he was finished. The work was fine. However, I paid $450 per hour for simple stain work. A quick Google search finds videos showing how simple it is to do this type of work. I should have been charged $50 per hour for the work he did, not $450. I have asked John to return $500. He has not done so. I will be filing a lawsuit against him soon. Don't make the same mistake that I made. Stay Away!

I went against my typical decision making process and picked not the cheapest or recommended by other people I know, but purely on professionalism as shown via Yelp reviews, speaking on the phone directly, and the quickness a quote was sent to us. I'm so glad we picked Allex to do our floors. They showed up on time, as promised, and finished quickly in 2 days. This was a daunting task. Furniture needed to be moved out, closets emptied, etc... and then we had to leave on vacation right after the job was done. Tight schedule. Allex came in with a team and delivered. My wife was very happy with their work, and she's the one who focuses on every little detail. This company deserves to be praised for their work ethics and impecable work.
