Initially I was told Mon- Tues with 3-4 guys working. By noon, I was texting him asking when the guys were going to arrive and he said they would t be there till Tues. There were 3 guys the first day to cut trees, but the work took until Friday because there was really only one guy working for Wed and Thurs and two guys in Friday. There was more work to be done and Ernest told me he would need to order supplies. I've had to follow up several times to see when they are coming back to finish although I was I initially told the following Mon, then Friday and now TBD. This has been particularly frustrating because we are trying to get our house ready for sell and was not able to show it while there were workers here and the 'curb appeal' was not where we wanted it without the work being done. I am still waiting for the rest of the work to be done and may increase the rating for quality as long as they finish the work- TBD... UPDATE: They never finished the work they agreed to do which was adding stone around the rest of our trees. I feel like we over paid for labor that was never completed (we were going to pay additional for the materials which we had agreed on) Ernest never got back to me and has ignored the follow up texts and calls. We met one face to face at a home show, they didn't respond after. Another came out to our home, took some photos and came back a week later with an uninspired design and a sprinkler quote that was 3x larger than Ravenscourt. Shawn came out to our home, took photos and we made a small payment for a design proposal. When it was ready, Shawn and Laurin had my wife and I to their home and walked us through their vision for the yard. Laurin put so much thought into every detail, it was clear they genuinely cared about making this yard special for us. There was no pressure, just excitement, and you could see how passionate they are about what they do. Once the work started, Shawn explained the process step by step, introduced the team, and they got to it. The crew was there every morning, ready to go, and if bad weather delayed things, Shawn was on top of it and let us know right away. I contracted with Ravenscourt Landscaping at the end of 2020…read more The actual plan was worked on 3-4 weeks after the major freeze. I have several complaints with the company but mostly with followup service . Most of the plants were not top quality b/c of freeze. I complained of constant dieback on camellias. i have replaced three. all struggle in location of design. I lost one of 2 Traveler's redbuds. The Berkley Carex that replaced lawn look straggly and dried out all the time. Have replaced a third. i have fertilized exactly as i was told with seaweed foliar spraying. The $3000.00 i paid for a drip watering system has been inadequate to keep the majority of plants alive. i hand water constantly. I have used Microlife in all parts of landscaping as advised. When a valve was not working on drip system a month into use., i asked Shawn to take a look at it. He came out , acknowledged it needed fixing. Never came back out. i wanted easier maintenance on front yard. It has not met my expectations. Much will have to be pulled and redone with other plants. P.S. I am a gardener. i am 71 and not new to the plant world. And further more the plants that i had already added to front before Ravenscourt even set foot in my front yard are doing well(with hand watering that i now have to do to supplement terrible drip system.) For the $15,000 i spent i could have hired workers to implement my own plan with better thought out plants and watering. Debra Valentine
