One of the sprinkler heads on my system broke, and I began searching for a company to come service…read morethe system. Everyone I spoke to wanted a ton of money to replace the head (the cheapest bid I had was $150!!!) and no one seemed to accept credit cards. I finally found Sunrise Sprinkler and spoke to Richard, the owner. I explained my situation, and he worked around my scheduling needs. For under $100 he replaced the head, set the timers, adjusted 2 or 3 of the remaining heads, and went over the entire system with me. Richard sets an exemplary example of how persons should run their business. Prompt, on time, professional, courteous, went the extra mile, and left me a completely satisfied customer. As much as I hate promoting another website over yelp, if you want additional reviews, check out his company on servicemagic.com. He has 57 reviews, the lowest being a 3 star rating, one or two 4 star ratings, and about fifty 5 star ratings. He also is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating.

I've used Andys over the years. They put a drainage system in my backyard, laid sod for me and…read moreserviced my sprinkler system. I had a valve leaking above ground in the plumbing for water to my sprinkler heads. Andys came out and put a larger valve than the leaky one. By doing this the protective cavity that sets over it to protect from cold freezing weather would not fit due to the larger valve they put on....SO...the technician cut the sides of the covering so it would set over the valves...well you guessed it the large cut aways allowed the freezing wind to get in and bust the valve....Andys quickly made it clear that was not their fault..(Bull Sh*t). I tried to schedule a service call with Andys and they said it would be a $99.00 Service call... Please see pics of what they thought was OK.... Oh yeah...I received an email from Andys advertising their $55.00 inspection... They came out said they inspected and I needed $600 worth of sprinkler head replacements...One head was spraying way up and I had them replace it ($55+tax).. $12.00 at Home Depot ...A few days later I walked out back and noticed several of the heads were still covered with dirt from the rain off that comes from the drainage system they put in years ago...They didn't even check those heads...

This company was professional, answered all my questions and even suggested a few things to considered. They incorporated my vision of what I had in mind with their many years of experience in the landscape business/design. The lead foreman assured me "we are going to make it look really nice", and that is exactly what they did and more. The final transformation was amazing. They did a great job rerouting a few underground sprinkler lines in order for plants to get efficient watering levels. The crew was polite, cleaned up afterwards and worked very hard throughout the day to get their work done on schedule. I highly recommend using this company. I live in Del Webb in Richmond and I have noticed their company trucks many times since my project was complete. I also chked out their BBB rating and Google reviews before hiring them. I plan on having them back out before summer to freshen up mulch before the heat arrived again. BTW- My landscape was completed around the Christmas holidays and not a plant died!
