They stitched half of the name underneath the lapel of the jacket so it could not be seen. They also did not put the initials of the degree correctly at the end of the name. Upon complaining, the owner said she had been doing this for 30 years and that is "how it is supposed to look"!! Believe me, this is *not* how it is supposed to look. I can't imagine a doctor raising the collar of the coat to show the entire name to the patient, nor that we do not know the correct initials for the degree! The owner refused to correct the problem and we had no choice but to take a brand new jacket that was now damaged by a horrible embroidery job. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for the professionalism and sincere attention to…read moreexcellent customer service that was extended to me on my first visit to your store. I have worked at UNM Hospital for several years and on a recent visit to their only contracted vendor, Scrubs Direct, had a very unfortunate experience. I have heard similar accounts of blatant rudeness, indifference, and an altogether lack of decency and consideration by the manager and others at that store. Moreover, poor selection, delayed ordering and unreliable store hours compound the already deplorable customer service. At Scrubs and Beyond I had the exact opposite experience. Upon walking in I was greeted by the store manager, Melissa, who proceeded to not only help me special order scrubs but took the time to help me select the exact style that I wanted. She also kindly offered assistance in finding an embroiderer for the UNM logo as I refuse to go to Scrubs Direct for this service. The manager has a sincere interest in serving our healthcare community and that is very much appreciated. It is truly unfortunate that UNM will not negotiate a contract with them that would provide healthy economic competition and perhaps motivate Scrubs Direct to revamp their idea of customer service and dedication to the needs of Albuquerque's healthcare workers. I for one will encourage encourage my coworkers and my department to consider giving their business to Scrubs and Beyond. Additionally, I will make a concerted effort to promote this business as often as possible even if it is just by word of mouth. I look forward to continuing to do business at Scrubs and Beyond and many thanks to Melissa for making my first visit pleasant and productive

Granted, pants are impossible to find in the most common size (34x30), so that's a pain in the neck, but there are tailors on-site who can make the clothes fit perfectly for you, often in just a matter of minutes. I can't speak for their selection of duty gear, since I usually just buy my kit online, but the clothing is where it really comes together. Pricing is typical of what you'd expect to pay for this stuff, so if you're looking to save a few bucks on 5.11 gear and things like that, Neve's is not the place to go, but if you need it now and need it bad, they will not let you down.

I will be honest, Scrub Direct's selection of medical clothing is small, but I usually buy my scrubs online and bring those pieces in for embroidery anyway. What I found absolutely charming about this place is the clerk who Ive had the pleasure of dealing with there. This young woman's customer service was so wonderful and her friendliness so genuine, that after my first time meeting her, I stopped back in-store an extra time simply to bring her a canned drink that she'd mentioned was her favorite during our friendly chit-chat a few days prior! Now, I can't speak for anyone else there (she's thankfully the only clerk I've dealt with in my 5 or so times stopping into this store), but I gotta admit, you won't find genuine customer service and friendliness like that at places like Wal-Mart or Nothing But Scrubs! Even If this wasn't the only place that embroidered scrubs for my hospital, I'd keep coming back simply because of the stellar service I received from this person! (PS, I had no idea that you could request your name and credentials added underneath your hospitals embroidery until my third visit! It's a fun little extra that made my day, so I thought I'd share that little tidbit in an attempt to hopefully make yours!)
