If you're looking for custom frames, ask for Stephanie…read more Yeah, we went the pseudo-cheap route, in that we didn't buy original art work. We wanted to deck out our newish home with some faces of our favorite artists and thinkers, so we went wandering through the interwebs jungle and found fineartamerica.com, which had some pretty dope, affordable prints (Neko Case, Dalai Lama, Prince... yesssss). I figured I'd really score by picking up some cheap-o frames at Michael's and quickly realized that our prints came in unconventional sizes. That's when I asked the woman behind the counter, Stephanie, for some help. She was terrific. I knew, immediately, that I could trust her to creatively customize colors and nail the right frames, and she spent a good 45-50 minutes with me, individually working through each print, finding deals and discounts when possible, and honoring the artists who created the work. In the end I dropped a lot of cash on the job, but quite honestly, it was worth every friggin' penny. Our walls are gorgeous, and every morning, at breakfast, I give a wink to the Artist Formerly Known As...

No one around so hit the help button. After nearly 10 mins I go behind the counter to the frame display for a closer look. About 5 mins later an employee comes up and starts the exchange with get out from behind the counter. Ok - trying to look at frames. Response You don't belong behind the counter. Sure & out the door we go. Otherwise the store is large & well stocked with all kinds of craft supplies. Lost on me - there isn't an artistic bone in my body. There's a stuff for arts & crafts - painters, beaders, jewelry makers, knitters & model builders. I'm sure you get the idea. For us tho there are other stores in town to buy from

Especially this young lady that was helping us find a tree topper when she/we rudely interrupted by some lady looking for "the toilet" her words. There was no "excuse me, for interrupting, she just made her demands and left. You often wonder what kind of people do reviews sometimes, which is why I don't really trust them. I really recommend this store because I've been coming here for 4 years and always great service but especially tonight! All the young people working were really patient and helpful!!

I asked three different employees for help locating magnets and was repeatedly given vague directions across the store without anyone verifying the location or offering to assist further. Despite following the instructions, I was unable to find the item. One employee did not make eye contact and provided directions without looking at me, while another appeared irritated when I asked for help and again when I requested she show me the location. At checkout, I shared my experience with the cashier and was informed that one of the employees involved was the store manager, Patrick, which was especially disappointing. This experience has left me no longer a fan of Hobby Lobby. Customer service matters. Please do better.
