There's an indoor and outdoor area which is nice so the facility can be flexible based on weather where the dogs play. This is not the frills, nap time required kind of vibe. It's an unassuming, barebones facility full of employees who just love dogs and dogs who love dogs. This was what worked for my pup- he doesn't care if it looks pretty to humans- he cares (and I care) how he's treated. And he was treated very well and would be jumping around in the parking lot as we would walk up because he was so excited. And the staff would be excited to see him as well. The cost is in line with other daycares in the area - buying a package will help the per day cost. For my pup - totally worth it.

I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.

I really appreciate that this is a family-owned small business and not a large chain like a number of the other local doggy daycare/boarding facilities. They get to know all of the pups super well. They are really "blossomed" the past year and a half in terms of offering tons of fun theme days where you can get photos of your dog dressed up and participating in activities (bunny ear photos and Easter egg hunt for Easter!) They also post fun updates to social media and have tons of cameras so you can check in on your pup throughout the day if you choose. They have helped me out soooo many times including when I have been running late for the pick-up or reaching out for a late reservation or an add-on service. The ability to be able to have Nora get groomed, nails clipped, and her anal glands expressed all during a regular day at daycare is amazing and so convenient. When we moved just over a year ago, we literally made sure to keep in mind the distance between us and Wag 'n Woofs because bringing her elsewhere was not an option. It's fun to see all the pups play throughout the day. The camera is also how I know my dog likes some workers more than others and when he is (or is not) having a good time. With any doggy daycare sickness tends to travel around and my dog has fallen sick from daycare before. Something to be aware of. Overall a good daycare for your pet.

Forget MY opinion; my 3 dogs adore Pets Are Inn!…read more This place is a like a hostel for animals. Instead of boarding them someplace where they'll be in crates most of the time except for an occasional walk (which you'll probably pay for), Pets Are Inn contracts with pet lovers who take your animals into their home while you away and treat them just like members of the family! We've used them 4 times now and have been lucky enough to get the same family each time (families develop relationships with the animals). The service will pick your animals up for you and drop them off (a great convenience when you're getting ready for a trip). My dogs practically jump out of their skins when the van pulls up because they are so excited to go stay with their "second family!" Upon return, we've always received a little note from the host family with an update about how the dogs did, etc. (They always got to sleep in the beds with the folks, etc.). And the best part? The price is comparable to that of a kennel, not crazy expensive as you might expect. We'll never board our dogs again. Thanks, Pets Are Inn!
