History
Established in 1997.
I've always been passionate about caring for animals where nurturing and loving them has been something I naturally grew up doing. I was a stay at home Mom of 4 and had many friends and neighbors asking me to come over and care for their pets it was only a natural progression to start this business. When starting the business in 1997 where kenneling was one of your only options for your companion, it struck a cord with so many people where they wanted their pets to stay home... wanted their young or old dogs let out during the day to keep them comfortable. Where families had both parents working but a puppy that needed to be let out one or more times during the day and the ability to hire a trustworthy person to come in and care for their pets needs was invaluable. This has been such a rewarding career for me to fulfill a dream of caring and nurturing animals.
Meet the Business Owner: Gail P.
Mom of 4 adult children, who grew up with this business and have all been employed at one time or another (some still to this day!) by TLC Pet Care, LLC. I have been fortunate to have my children work side by side with me and to teach them compassion for other people's pets as well as our own.
Throughout working in rescue for over 10 years taking in the sickest of the sick and the incredibly neglected and abused dogs, home cooking and holistically caring for these little guys, I was constantly research holistic and natural ways, feed, bathe, and care for my animals, my foster dogs, as well as clients pets.
Five years ago I started Bare Naked Dog Bakery where the treats I had been making for my pets were now being made in my commercial kitchen to be sold in retailers and veterinarian's offices with an eye for organic, locally sourced and made dog treats.
I can't imagine my life any other way.
