She took Rusty and I in the back where he smelled EVERYTHING. Lizz could tell I was relieved of any tenacious nerves that I had. We stayed in the back yard and her husband brought out their dog, Zajka. She was so great to my Rusty! I've never ever felt more comfortable and connected with dog people before. The inside of the home is clean as well! Rusty still smelled out the whole place. (He's a Bloodhound) He had a look of peace on his face. I couldn't be happier. The doctor had me put a muzzle on him, making him even more anxious though I understood this is probably protocol. What I don't understand is yelling at my dog to stop moving as if he understood what was being asked of him. The doctor then proceeded to hit my dog on the back in an effort to get him to stop? I do not hit or yell at my dog so I cannot imagine just how upset/scared this must have made him. I'm sure the response to this will be a denial, but it is very clear that this doctor does not have a love for animals. The vet tech Mackenzie was sweet and did her best to try and calm my pup down, giving him treats and speaking to him nicely. I will not be returning with my pup, the only reason I stayed is due to him needing medication. He was traumatized and I cried all the way home. Please, if you have a anxious pup do not bring them here.

Our guy, Tank, has spent many nights happily ensconced at The Cat's Pajamas where he enjoys spying on the comings and goings from the privacy of his own condo. Yes, we could leave him at home with a cat sitter popping by once or twice daily, but our dude is very social and gets lonely easily. Plus, he is a bit high-maintenance and Patty doesn't bat an eye at his extreme neediness. (LOL) Bottom line: Patty is a total pro. She is caring, considerate, and communicative. She keeps a close eye on her charges and intuits exactly what they need. I just can't say enough good things about her.
