We were advised to call in two weeks for an appointment. I did that and was told it would be weeks for me to get a follow up appointment. She needed to be cleared for spring sports and I said that's not good enough. We weren't allowed to see another doctor in the same practice that was available. Eventually after me basically begging on behalf of my daughter who wanted to play sports I was able to get in for a 2 minute follow up and cleared. While waiting for a note I saw they wrote in all caps in the computer about "the mother"! Very unprofessional!

Okay, fine. I needed a sick appointment for my son and despite him being ill, I waited 3 hours for her to call the insurance agency and get back to me. I know something about insurance and billing being in the healthcare industry. I had a feeling my husband's insurance agency was going to provide misinformation because insurance companies don't want to pay when they hear a secondary insurance is involved. Despite her knowing for a fact that the primary for the child is whichever spouse birthday is first (my husband) she didn't go on her own knowledge and even stated that she knew the information that was provided to her was wrong, she denied giving my son the sick appointment. I've never experienced such backwards thinking at a doctor's office. I never had issues or bills from my son going to the doctor- pediatrician or urgent care. We just moved from NYC so this level of ...weirdness is baffling to me. I know that this woman made me wait 3 hours to tell me she can't give my sick son an appointment because of misinformation she knows is wrong. Ridiculous and highly disappointed.

He gives me the impression of someone that was forced into the profession or he just doesn't like my kids! Not sure, he doesn't have a warm vibe, however he agreed to not give my children all the vaccines on one day. It's more visits, but that works for me as not many places accommodate parents with such requests. From my experience his medical assistant are new each time I have been in the office. As far as the esthetic of the office, the waiting area could use some remodeling or at the very least some new chairs. I'm suggesting plastic or leather like chairs easier to sanitize because the current chairs are screaming bedbugs so I never sit in the waiting area.

Neubardt and Stern both attend to you in surgery, which is not always their first course of action (which I appreciate.) I had surgery, and when I called at midnight on a Saturday with a post op concern, I spoke directly with Dr. N. He actually remembered the details of my surgery a full 10 days later! Dr. Stern has written books, and Dr. Neubardt holds at least 14 patents for back surgery. Every office should run like this and every doctor should be so skilled and concerned about their patients.

Being in a situation of sadness, confusion, and helplessness Tiffany was by our side through it all providing us with a plethora of information that would help not only our mother but our family as we tackled each obstacle that came in our way. Our mother succumbed to her illness on 2/13/25, it is with Tiffany's determination and endless hard work we were able to bring mom home with hospice where she was able to spend her final days with her loving family reminiscing, laughing, and us loving her with every part of our beings.
