Our whole issue started when both of my sons developed RSV and we were brushed aside like it was nothing. We were in the office four separate times in one week. I expressed my concern as my littlest's health was declining and I felt incredibly dismissed. After our last appointment the doctor told us "he would just get better." I ended up having to take them to a children's hospital, where I would be taken seriously. My little ones O2 was 70, which was never checked in office and should've been. I was told "it didn't work." Both of my children were confirmed with not only RSV, but also pneumonia and a double ear infection. The pediatrician failed to check either one of their ears, which is PROTOCOL for well and sick visits. I decided to switch to a practice where my children were treated like people and not like inconveniences. I had to call six times for them to transfer their medical records over to the new pediatrician. Where upon learning they never transferred them over and I had to go to the office in person and collect them. Not only did they tell me they would have them ready for me to pick up, which they did not; they couldn't even find either one of my son's medical records. Upon talking with other mom friends, I also learned that they were dismissed with serious medical issues and improper medical instructions from this office, which led to serious adverse reactions for their children. So to sum everything up, they are unorganized, unprofessional, uncompassionate and should likely be investigated.

And we were amazed with Katie, the Lactation Consultant. she has decades of experience, she CHANGED our world!! we brought in our 5 day old baby and she completely turned me around with her knowledge base. I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.

When our daughter got born, Dr. Elin came in Saturday after midnight to see her (there were no complications, she got a score of 9 at birth, where the max is 10) 2. When my daughter had a week, she came to our house (which as i heard it's not done any more. I even read about her in the local news paper regarding this "being one of the last doctors that does home visits") 3. As first time parents we were scared like hell at a 102 fever, she wanted to see us on Saturday night, OMG i can't thank her enough for giving me the chance/peace of mind to sleep those nights. 4. If i left her a message she got back to us within max 30 minutes, either with a call or a message, based on the gravity of the situation. 5. Waiting time at the office was good. 6. She took the time to explain us the benefits of each vaccine and everything that came with it. 7. Her exams were always thorough. 8. Even after we moved from her, we keep in touch. 9. When we requested our daughters medical records they arrived within two days from the time of the request. I definitely recommend Dr. Elin, she is a wonderful caring person!
