They discharge my children stating that they were noncompliant with vaccines Jessica Gonzalez as a liar. I asked her in an appointment if I could discuss with my husband before I gave them the vaccines, she handed me pamphlets and told me the office manager would call me. They never called me. They discharge me by sending a letter in the mail. I called them multiple times days Straight. No one called back. I went into the office to find out if I could speak to someone, they promised me a call back by that afternoon apparently the boss who doesn't really work Is Carol she's never at the office she's never available and she doesn't return calls. I don't know what she's getting a paycheck for. After the first visit to the office, I was promised to call back. She never called. I went back the next day to ask if I could speak to her yet again and the front desk called the police!!! The police said there's nothing you did wrong but you can't come back here. This is the most corrupt strange situation I've ever encountered. These people are supposed to be taking care of our children. We are supposed to have relationships and trust with them other reviews below state the same situation. This practice only cares about bonuses from pharmaceutical companies and loading our kids with vaccines. The scary thing is that Jessica lied about my appointment lied about what we discussed lied to the administration and never got on the phone with Me to discuss her lies She also had an urgent message from Me before all of this came to fruition and it was regarding something I had discussed with her during the appointment. She refused to call me back even though it was an urgent message. I left a second urgent message still no callback this place is twisted. I urge every parent to stay far far away.

We've had plenty of first time parent concerns and he's tackled them all super timely and with a way of explaining things that calms us and gives us more confidence every time. And we were amazed with Katie, the Lactation Consultant. she has decades of experience, she CHANGED our world!! we brought in our 5 day old baby and she completely turned me around with her knowledge base. I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.

My kids LOVE going to the dr. They literally ask to go. Even if there are shots involved they like being there. When the heck does that ever happen? Dr. Nikki is more than a doctor. She is someone my 13 year old daughter looks up to and my 7 year old son wants to marry. I trust her and when it comes to your kids that is something you need to have for peace of mind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We recently left Healthy Child in Darien because the service had deteriorated significantly. Dr…read more Vogel has grown increasingly unaccomodating and Stamford Health just announced that she is resigning from the practice with very little explanation as to why, which felt suspicious to us. Most of all, the admin staff is poor. The office has a small army of admins who run cover for the doctors. They do not communicate with each other, are disorganized and come off as annoyed when talking to you. Even the most patient families will feel frustration in dealing with the office and should be prepared to follow up vigilantly as they will NOT call you back. The office's apathy and lack of urgency is so severe it borders on dangerous for the kids. One of our kids has an allergy and it was a process to get him the prescription he needed in case he had a reaction. We felt we had no choice but to leave. Good riddance and beware of this pediatric practice.

In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.
