I went in, described my stairs and had a picture - took a sample home and within a week Bryson came out to measure. He was personable, efficient, honest- a much different experience than the first quote from the shop in Needham. We scheduled for installation at my convenience and though it did take the whole day (which makes sense due to our stairs etc.) the guy who came to do it was also incredibly personable. Made the whole experience great and the rugs came out exactly how my husband and I had hoped. We're considering doing rugs in our kids room and will absolutely be back to General Flooring. Price is right. Great quality. Professional throughout the entire process from first conversation to the clean up after installation. My delivery came on time all the way to Brookline, for free, from two courteous deliverymen. The wood was even higher quality than I expected and was easy to work with. My project came out perfectly and my neighbors have been complimenting me on it. I really recommend these guys, especially for any custom design millwork.

I called mid-day and their salesman reassured me that it would most like come by 2:30 PM. I called again at 4:45 , he then said it is still out for delivery. My day and time was wasted. The next day they called at 7:30 AM and delivered it. The item was damaged and had pink round sticker identifying the spit wood. I had no idea what the stickers were for, now the driver was gone and it's the weekend and they aren't open. Update: Shortly after posting my review, Dan (Owner/manager) called me personally and talked to me about what had happened. Dan was very professional and wanted to get me a new item to replace the damaged one right away. Dan drove the new item to my home within an hour of our phone call. I want to thank Dan and Next Day Moulding for excellent customer service which allowed me to complete my project on time.

Our son cut the pavement, removed the decomposing roots, and compacted the area. The area is 135sq ft. Too large for bags of asphalt from the hardware store. We contacted Bill Dwyer and he sent over a truck, workers and the equipment to finish the job the same day we called. Bill also allowed us to bring the asphalt from our driveway to his site to be recycled at no cost to us. This is not our first job with Pilgrim Paving. Bill installed a new driveway at our previous home and repaired all of the drainage issues. We could not be happier with Bill and his team! Great company to work with.

An exterior door with two side lights, fiberglass with limited options was about $5,000 Our carpenter suggested that we swing by Cape Cod lumber. We talked with Eric. He knew what he was talking about. He has decades of experience and asked us what our "best case" door was. We gave him the particulars, he walked us through all of the options, until we had exactly what we wanted. Best part, it came in $1,100 less than HD & L. I thought it was going to be a higher price than the others. Highly recommend CCL & Eric, don't expect to pay more than the big stores. CCL has a great show room and vast experience with their team.

Then he was out the next day and did a great job rebuilding the entire top of the chimney. I wish all contractors were this good. Also, I have to say, looking at the reviews here, I can't help but notice most of the positive reviews are from reliable Yelpers, who've reviewed many other businesses, while these negative reviews are almost all from people who never or nearly never review on Yelp. I can't help but suspect most of these bad reviews are from competitors, trolls, and malcontents. Thus, you should ignore them.
