Currently, the boom in bike sales and repair due to the pandemic has overwhelmed every shop, including them. But understand that their current operating procedure is yet another reflection of their dedication to each and every customer, rather than trying to cash in quick. I was blessed enough with timing to visit before the bike craze hit. Purchased bikes for my whole family (4) and will be a customer for life. I may have had equal experiences with other businesses, but never better. Every employee (including the owner) is hard working, patient, knowledgeable and dedicated to you. If you want a relationship for all your cycling needs, make sure you email to set up an appointment. Go to Walmart or elsewhere if you just need parts (although in calmer times, get those here too.) This store's selection was always good even though they weren't huge (better if you include the website, but I like to try most things in person). And the staff was always helpful and knew their inventory pretty well. With this one gone, the next closest one is a 30 minute drive instead of 10, but I'll likely end up doing because the main alternatives are the new-ish Dick's a couple of miles north (except their prices are much higher) or... Amazon? Hell, no. Bezos-mart's mindshare and monopoly tactics are exactly what's killing my ability to shop in-person and locally, their customer service is lousy and their rep for always having the best prices hasn't been true for a decade+, despite a ton of their listings being Chinese fakes.

This project was long and stressful. We signed the contract in March 2025. We had a discussion…read moreabout the expectations about our back yard porch which introduced a change. Then we decided to get a digital rendering of the porch which came out great, but came with a price of over $1k in addition to the initial Estimate which was over 40k. Some time went by and we heard very minimal about the project between March and August. I decided to do a review on yelp to motivate the company to do something with our project. I received a phone call from the PM about how this affects their business. I agreed that I would remove that review and add a review at the end. Our understanding was that there would be quality control and communication weekly along the way however; this was not the case. There were days where the painter and foundation person came when they said they would and other times they didn't. A couple of times I would go out and look and tell the construction worker that the quality was not acceptable. This occurred on more than one occasion. I called the PM to tell him that this was the problem. It got fixed and we ended up with a beautiful porch in Mid November with a total of $45k spent. If you have the time and money to spend to guide this project the exact way that you want then yes, otherwise; I would recommend a different company.
