He had to back down the hill. He pulled over into the entrance of this place, way over, not in the way. He was chased out. Told he could not stay there. My husband advised the person (not sure if owner or not, most likely) he could not make the hill to get home. He offered to pay if they would let him keep his car there and was told "No", you have to leave. SERIOUSLY, nice human being... in the storm.. My husband parked in the St. Joseph's Church/School parking lot and started to walk home (we live off of Mud Pond -by Police Station). A very nice guy gave him a ride to Mud Pond. My husband walked to end of road and could not go any further. Walked into the DEP office and they were kind enough to give him the 1 minute ride up the hill home. Glad to see that there are human beings looking out for others. But this business, NOT!!! Based on this, I will never allow my car to be towed here, I'd rather my car be towed 100 miles away before I would give my time and hard earned money to a business that could care less about another human being.

We were lucky enough to have the car at home, so we didn't have to wait for help, shivering in the cold. But Lakeside Towing had such an admirably fast reaction time that I wouldn't hesitate to call them if we had been stranded on a cold, dark, stormy night.... after running over a dead body, which hubby insists he did not. (I live off a 3 mile dirt road and my driveway is about a mile long with a pretty steep drop down on one side.) I called in pretty frantic and Bobby answered the phone with such professionalism. He was extremely thorough during the phone conversation, asking questions to make sure they weren't ripping me off - since I'm a little out of their area, and so they could come in and get the job done as quickly/efficiently as possible, considering I have to be up in 4 1/2 hours for work. The Owner called me back 5 minutes after setting up the tow, to confirm all details and even joined in on the ride/tow! Nicest guys I've met in the industry and I sure know how easy it is to rip someone off when it comes to car parts, tows, auto body, etc. They traveled further than the other towing companies nearby and charged me less then the other quotes I received! Got my car out safe and sound! After everything, Emerson informed me that he has an auto body shop as well, I have some passenger side damage unrelated to this tow and clearly need snow tires after these last 2 storms.
