I can't tell you how amazing these guys are!! The Owner, Emerson, and employee Bobby, both came to the rescue when my car was stuck front-end down a ditch in my driveway tonight. (I live off a 3 mile dirt road and my driveway is about a mile long with a pretty steep drop down on one side.) I called in pretty frantic and Bobby answered the phone with such professionalism. He was extremely thorough during the phone conversation, asking questions to make sure they weren't ripping me off - since I'm a little out of their area, and so they could come in and get the job done as quickly/efficiently as possible, considering I have to be up in 4 1/2 hours for work. The Owner called me back 5 minutes after setting up the tow, to confirm all details and even joined in on the ride/tow! Nicest guys I've met in the industry and I sure know how easy it is to rip someone off when it comes to car parts, tows, auto body, etc. They traveled further than the other towing companies nearby and charged me less then the other quotes I received! Got my car out safe and sound! After everything, Emerson informed me that he has an auto body shop as well, I have some passenger side damage unrelated to this tow and clearly need snow tires after these last 2 storms. My wife was stranded needing a flat tire changed. I called AAA to help her as I was not there. This A-Hole John showed up with the rudest attitude. Insulting to my wife's basic questions about using a doughnut spare as she was just cautious and concerned about driving on it. This idiot reacted like it was a chore to give her a response. Driving on route 138 we encountered some type of unforeseen road hazard a flat tire and a broken rim , we drove to the restaurant and called AAA and the service from this company , was phenomenal they arrived and where pleasant they checked the spare tire and amounted the tire a true gentleman, and a road hero. I also have to say they arrive promptly. They notify me when they arrived on site and I will give this company six stars !would recommend them to anybody. Thank you being a member of AAA. Worst company on the planet. Called AAA for a tow and they called these monsters. Driver in an attempt to get out of the tow scraped my registration sticker off of my license plate. After I confronted him about what he did. He cursed and swore and threw a little fit and left. Unfortunately not enough evidence to have him arrested. Bad bad people. These guys and gals are always there for me when I need them! Needed a quick tow in town to move my car about 1/2 mile down the road. They were there in an hour and did the job quickly and skillfully. It was a tricky tow because the vehicles battery was dead and we could not get it into nuetral. Skylines skilled flatbed operator was able to get the car loaded up, moved and placed exactly where I wanted it in a short amount of time. The rate was very reasonable and fair. The time before this I called Skyline to pick myself and my young son up in a bad situation when our truck broke down on the way home from a Giants game. We were cold, wet and miserable from a rained out game and our truck broke down 30 mins from home in 34 degree cold rain. AAA totally dropped the ball and could not get out to help us for 3 hours so I called Skyline and they were there in 45 mins. Emerson and all the staff at Skyline are top notch!! read more

I received a private message from this company who towed my elderly mothers car last year. They said I have the wrong company. I do not. It is skyline towing in Mahopac. They towed my elderly mothers car without warning or reporting it to police as they are required to do. They still have her car and haven't even notified her after ONE YEAR. read more

If getting a flat and being towed can ever be a great experience, but working with Emerson and the team at Skyline was very smooth. I had called triple A because I broke down on side of road. I had a flat in my town and this my local tow service. I called AAA and Skyline is the tow service they assigned to us. Called AAA 9:52 pm and they did not show up at the time stated . Called skyline directly and they were extremely rude and said maybe they could get to us by 11:30. I said we were promised service by 10:54 and was told that we were not the only people waiting and we would just have to wait. I will let everyone in Mahopac know what this business is about , believe me, I've lived here for 23 years . I never thought of starting my car after it being idle for over one month. Of course it wouldn't start so I called AAA and they called Skyline to jump start my car. AAA gave me an exact time that Skyline would be there. One hour and five minutes. They called me again after half an hour to say that Skyline would be here in 35 minutes. Guess what? In EXACTLY 35 minutes Skyline showed up. Don, jump started my car, was very polite and advised me that I really needed a new battery of which he could come back with one or I could go to wherever I like. Not pushy at all, I would highly recommend them in the future. In the meantime I'm starting my car every day to give the battery a charge. Hopefully when this Covid 19 is over I'll get myself a new battery.. read more

While I usually use another local towing co. They were busy and due to where my car was I needed service as soon as I could so I was told to try Skyline. I called and Bobby answered and when I explained what I needed and how I was in a bad part of the road he said " I hear this all the time and it doesn't make it so I go any faster" I felt that was unprofessional and I should have hung up but I was in need. He told me he was just about to finnish eating then he would make his way and if I wasn't picked up by the police he would be there. over 1 and 1/2 hrs I called back and he said he was now too backed up and wasn't coming. As the default AAA towing service in the area, I've used their services multiple times for battery jumps, flat tire help and towing. The drivers are usually very helpful and courteous. Usually come within an hour of a call. The longest I've had to wait was 5 hours though, thank God not in the winter time but a nice summer day. DO NOT use as a repair service! They falsely implied that they are a AAA certified service station but they are not according to AAA website. They said they were a full service garage and could fix anything. I got douped. Skyway Mechanic said my issue was the cam sensor but didn't replace it..??? Car broke down again the next week so I brought it to my regular mechanic which also diagnosed it as cam sensor and replaced it the same day. I also asked Skyway to fix my A/C As it was not work. They had my car for three days but they said they didn't have the machine to diagnose the problem. So what were they doing all that time? My mechanic diagnosed it same day I dropped it off, surmised it was evaporator and compressor and fixed it next day. I also asked them to change my oil, but for some reason they didnt. They did however changed my spark plugs, wires and replaced my valve cover gasket (i had also asked to diagnose a oil leak). So as a tow service they are good (by default, only AAA service in the area) but as for repair service I'll stick to my usual shop. read more

I have NEVER conducted business with anyone as rude and as much attitude, attitude, attitude, as the owner of Skyline Towing. It's inconceivable that AAA uses them. If I could give less than 1 star I would. What was a 2 day wait for a battery, went to over a week wait. However, the drivers are friendly and courteous. skyline , was my luck in an unlucky situation. Being towed in on mechanical issues and leaving just days later was nothing short of remarkable. They were straight foward and honest in an industry i know all to well about ! Its possible they went above and beyond or just sheer luck but i had to write this for them.
