AAA dispatched Lone Star to tow my vehicle to my mechanic. The driver showed up and refused to do…read morethe tow. He said due to "no one at the mechanics garage was there to receive the car." I said " when has that ever mattered when they have a drop box?" He said "it's policy." I called AAA and they said "no it's not policy!" AAA had my car towed the following day with a different tow company with no issue at all. Clearly at 5:00 pm on a Friday this driver just did not feel like driving in rush hour traffic. I waited 1.5 hours and got zero service. This also caused me to rent a car a day early- money out of my pocket!!! I am also reporting them to BBB. Do no waste your precious time with this company. They are a joke!!
