Long story, starting short: I have been refilling one tire for the past week or two and only needing it every few days. Procrastination is a specialty of mine, so I waited until it was really needed. I happened to be over here and decided to stop in. The experience was fine with explaining what I needed and deciding on tires. And granted they don't do what the 10 minute oil places do and try to get you to replace a lot of small stuff. But I still was tried to sell all kinds of parts that were already checked out by my mechanic and simple things like wiper blades. That's fine. But what is not fine is taking 3 and half hours for a tire replacement! I felt like I was there forever. And not being updated very frequently. Overall the staff was friendly. But between the upsales and an ask for a Google review when I got home, it felt very gimmicky. It's never fun spending that much money. But much worse feeling when you have to wait that long and being asked to spend even more money.

I can't afford a new car at the moment, so when my car started acting up, I took it to Julio at Roebuck Auto because he had worked on a friend's car. This is what I do not understand. Are there not ANY honest, hard working, knowledgeable mechanics anywhere in the world? Here's the thing. The car started shifting really hard, and also started turning off after I turn it on, like it was out of gas or something. Apparently a whole bunch of other things are wrong, too. Julio and his mechanic had my car for over a week. During that time he was supposed to fix everything. I had new motor mounts put on the car, new brakes and rotors, new belt...he was supposed to fix the shutting off problem. He was supposed to fix my oil leak. I picked up my car, and noticed the power steering was extra loud. He said when he put it back on, air must have gotten in and it would go away in a few days. I took it back a week later, they bled the air or whatever it is called. Still didn't fix it. He then said I needed a new steering pump. It magically and coincidentally went out while at their shop. Fast forward to now. My car still jerks. It still shuts off. The steering is still bad. The oil leak is still there, and now it vibrates really bad when I step on the brakes. After a couple phone calls not returned, and an email not returned, I go to his shop, because in my opinion, he needs to fix everything and I shouldn't have to pay a dime, including replacing my pump. Come to find out they are out of business. They just up and moved shop, is what I heard from the BYOP place across the street. So now I am out $1500, and my car is in worse shape now than it was when it went in. I guess I am not surprised they are gone. But if I see anyone from that shop out on the street, I am going to shove my foot up their ass.

In what was actually not their fault,…read morethey were very behind and I had to wait close to two hours. i did feel that potentially they were priced a lot higher than necessary when I paid However, neither of these things were truly the issue. The next day after I got my battery replaced my car started making a grinding noise when I started it and when idling. My car is still under warranty so I didn't want to take it anywhere but the service at the dealership so I wouldn't have to pay. as it turns out, pep boys didn't put my battery in correctly and messed up part of the air filter causing it to "grind" against the fans. This luckily DIDNT do damage to the fans but easily could I have! I am very disappointed with the situation! will not be returning

This was the shop I was referred to. Stay AWAY. I can only recap my experience. I gave them my car. I locked the door. They were only supposed to put new tires on. They were closing. So I had to leave it over night. I picked it up the next day. Thought all was in order. I did notice they left my car unlocked when I approached. Just thought they rushed with the clean up. Things were spilled on the pavement from the inside. Which come to find out I had items stolen from it. After speaking with the manager, I find out leave your car unlocked over night without adequate cameras. They don't care much for details for protecting your property, doubt their work is much different.

As everyone knows, most car mechanics shops are closed on Sunday, so I figure I'll stop here to get this taken care of before work. I went in and wasn't even acknowledge by the male employee behind the counter. After he decided to help me, I told him about my situation and asked how long would it take and he told me an hour in a half to two hours which I didn't have time to wait. It's a shame they choose to have you wait that long just to patch up a tire and add air into it.
