I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had thumbprint cookies. I'm a huge fan of thumbprint cookies. There's something so nostalgic about them from when I was a child. What makes their thumbprint cookies the best is that they make them with caramel! Most bakeries don't sell thumbprint cookies and that ones that do, I've never seen them with caramel. These are little amazing nuggets of goodness! If their shortbread was a little more tender, it would probably be the #1 bakery item, I've ever had. The magic is in the caramel! It's so soft, gooey and perfectly sweet. It's the perfect pairing with the lightly sweetened shortbread. Since I had the cookies, I haven't stopped thinking about them. Came back into town for the day with my kids and I made sure this was our first stop! I will give you a heads up that the parking is a little funky, but nothing major. I'll be back soon!

They are literally works of art made by a creative decorator who demands perfection and uses the finest ingredients. The cake is very dense, what our family considers to be the ultimate texture for a cake. The frosting is super thick and very sweet. You can't eat too much at one time, which is probably a good thing. We had hoped for some sort of confirmation email to let us know the cake was finished.
