Came here because my OG nail lady cancelled and they fit me in last minute. Nails came out cute but was deff a rushed job because they wanted to close and I was their last customer. Then they had me translating for them to one of their employees my entire apt and at the end of my service charged me $120. I have had more intrequite work done for not as much so they are pretty pricey.

When I first got there, it was a rough start. I think there was a new girl who was doing my nails, and one of the guy noticed that I didn't like them and had to fix her mistakes. Tommy took over and just laid my nails. They're better than the picture. I showed him definitely coming back again!!!

Went in for gel fill and pedicure. Tj did my gel fill and when I say he is one of the best nail techs I mean that! He pays attention to detail and is very precise and professional. absolutely LOVE the work he did! You must go and experience for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Disappointed I've been here 4 times Tommy did really job and I loved it. But this time with the lady I don't her name kinda old. She did really bad and ugly. She charged me $55 I tipped $5 total 60 Normally I always tip 10-15 She touched my hand and said too skinny I like wtf not ur business and looked at my eyebrows and said your eyebrows are long u need to cut I like just do the nail and do it right. I saw it . It wasn't going good French tip are so ugly !! I shoulda asked for refund!! All of my friends said they are ugly. read more

I would 100% recommend this to any and everyone. I try not to be too picky with my nails, especially since I I rarely deviate from my normal, simple style; however of course I haven't had the best experiences elsewhere nonetheless, until I came here. I got my nails done by Tommy today, and I am INCREDIBLY pleased with the level of patience and the overall beauty of my set! I will most definitely be coming back!! This place has wonderful energy, and everyone was incredibly kind! :) I would give a 10 star rating if I could for the welcoming service alone! Thank you guys!! read more

We booked for 3 pedis, an entire month ahead. They took the appointment, but only had 2 techs available to do the job of 3 customers. Another customer came in, and they told her to wait 30 minutes. While she (and I) waited, 2 staff members took a break in some pedi chairs. I waited an actual 40+ minutes for someone to even turn on the water jets (while the 2 techs were doing my friends' pedis, not even acknowledging my existence. 100% ignored. There was also some weird sand or dirt in the plastic protector. Had to politely beg for a bottle of water, once I heard them offer it to someone else. They looked at me like I had no right to ask. My friends were long finished, while my toes were being rapidly painted. I would have paid for a higher level pedi, but I was about to just get up and leave (had I not been with friends, I would have left after being ignored for the first 10-20 minutes - but I was polite enough to wait FORTY MINUTES. Didn't complain. Was polite. Held my tongue. I don't see these friends often), and I just wanted it to be over with asap. I can do my own nails, and after looking at the final product, I do a much better job. My cuticles weren't groomed, and I could only pick from a tiny sliver of swatch samples unless I wanted gel (I'd have paid for gel, had I not sat IGNORED for over 40 minutes). Not every nail salon makes you feel this way, but this one does this one thing that makes you feel extremely uncomfortable: they talk sh!t about you in Vietnamese. I can hear it, I can see it, I can feel it. Someone came in complaining that she was charged twice as much for a fill as for a full set. The entire staff immediately switched to Vietnamese only, right in this customer's face, until they'd all decided how to handle it. IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW. There are so many options in town. I'd prefer to give my money and time to businesses who take pride in what they do - or at least don't treat their customers like we are lucky to be acknowledged. * I just had a chance to peruse the rest of the reviews, and this has all the signs of a clear picture. We live in vegas; we have choices everywhere. Let the incompetent fall off. Nail tech may or may not be this business' main income (IYKYK), but the least they could do is keep up the front. read more

This so called salon leaves much to be desired. I was quoted a price over the phone of $45.00 for a gel manicure. When I entered the bldg. I showed her my nails and confirmed the price of $45.00. She tried to get me to agree to a 5 dollar discount on pedicure. I refused. After the other tech, and I use that word loosely removed the polish off 3 nails she told me the price was $55.00. I told her what the receptionist said and she said the price is 55.00. I said forget it. I picked a color, left, and upon awakening the next morning(Christmas Eve) I noticed every nail had polish that had bubbled and they were all peeling. I called and no answer. Finally someone called me back and said come around one .I explained I was preparing for an event and she said "Well, just come in". I heard her phony explanation it was faulty product.(why was it on the shelf then?) No wonder I was the only person in there with 3 so called techs sitting with their thumbs up there you know where! Save your money, save your time and stay away from this joke of a nail salon! read more

I absolutely LOVE this salon! I have gone to so many different nail salons over the years and the lack of consistency always sends me to another salon. TJ is amazing. My nails look fantastic every time. In fact, they look better than when I first started going to him. He has a group of technicians that are all fantastic. I would not recommend because I went there this past Saturday for a basic gel and people came in that were white. I am the only black person in this place. He stopped doing my nails to start nails instead of just finishing what he started, and then working on the next customer, then he sat me down furthest from all the other white people in the salon when doing my feet, my nail broke within five days. I got scheduled to come back today to get it fixed. I get there today. Nobody is in the salon the owner TJ is not there telling me he's sorry that he's not available to come back at a later time but didn't give me a word or an update prior to. This is a very terrible experience. I hate to play the race card, but I have every reason to believe that if I was not black, I would not have had this experience. read more

They don't carry all sizes of gel-x. They cut the large shape. Businesses do that to save money on buying different size boxes but for the price they charge, that shouldn't be the case. It changes the nail shape and leaves room for uneven cuts and shapes. read more

Never again ! I asked for a gel structure manicure for the health of my nails I grow my nails out and wear them before I could say anything the person doing my manicure starts cutting down my real nails :( I was devastated when I asked for a structured manicure he looked at me like I was crazy ! I am so sad I then got a gel x manicure so I could just regrow my real nails I asked for short and got medium length he didn't listen !! Mind you he is SO ROUGH !!! He filed my real nail beds so thin ! HORRIBLE!! I was in pain the lady doing my pedicure left me with cuts and 2 days later my real toe nail broke off AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE !! I speak 3 different languages I'm very educated they assumed I couldn't understand them "tell her $10 extra" for everything I asked them I didn't want any design nothing crazy just a regular pedicure. Why did they say my toes was going to be $100 and my nails $70 and it wasn't even long. Definitely told them to stop what they were doing and walked out. read more

I went to nail shop cause of reviews and designs on nails . And this Friday few days ago and the guy who did my nails didn't have good customer service as doing nails drilling when done with one nail push hand for next ,and so I asked to see designs cause there pictures on site but nothing to show this is second shop in Vegas doesn't have photo to see why I don't get it , he says I can do what you want you show me, no that was a turn off. So since he just rush to do my nails ,I wasn't interested to have him do any designs on my nails, but his coworker came over super friendly and showed me one color for nails. And at the end after polished he says you want lotion I said yes he put lotion on my hand no massage or anything he says you rub hands together. Excuse me . Work on customer service and be friendly to people who paying you for service . He finish in 30 min. read more

This review is for management…read more I've been going to Social Nail Bar for about 2 years now, and Michelle does my pedicures exactly the way I like it. I can read without feeling rude, and the pedicure (with regular polish) lasts 3-4 weeks with nary a chip. My brother's wedding is this weekend, so on Friday I decided to get gel cat eye nails in addition to my regular pedicure. The pedicure was amazing as always, but the manicure was just awful. She didn't take me back until 30 minutes after my appointment time, so maybe she was running behind, but there was a visible gap between my cuticle and where the polish began. I thought I could just deal with it, but when every person I met over the next couple of days pointed out the gap, I knew I had to get it taken care of. Luckily, Social Nail Bar has a 7-day repair policy posted in the waiting area, right? Nope. Every technician I showed the nails to said that's how it's supposed to look and refused to fix it. I finally just booked a gel color change to get my nails looking presentable. Don ended up fixing my nails today and explained that sometimes the cat eye polish shrinks up, and recommended some polishes that wouldn't shrink. He took extra care to ensure that my nails looked good, and was overall lovely. The front desk lady tried to help me get a discount on my services, but management refused. She was also lovely. I ended up paying $120 for a basic gel manicure and a beautiful regular pedicure. Plus, the $30 in tips because I'm not going to stiff the manicurists just because managment sucks. If they had just admitted it looked bad and offered to fix it, I would've been fine. Everyone has an off day. That's what the policy should be for. Not to mention, I asked for a repair multiple times, was denied, finally agreed to the color change, and then was told upon checkout that since I got a different service, they couldn't comp the service. Anyway, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place any longer. Which is too bad, because again, Michelle gives the best pedicures ever.

I added it to what would have been her actual price, in order to tip properly. Once I did this, I got the total price, with the tip, and accidentally sent her that (instead, I should have subtracted the service total to get the tip, and add that to the $5 extra charge). So I meant to send her $15, but I accidently sent $90. Right after sending it I realized what I had done was incorrect. I explained to her and she understood, and told me she would reimburse the $75 via Zelle, but would have to do it later and rushed me out and told me her husband was waiting for her. In retrospect, I should have just had her send it back on the spot. And not allow her to rush me out. Very disappointing, very sleezy.

I visited the establishment with great anticipation, as it is conveniently located just a couple of minutes away from my residence. I have been on the lookout for a reputable nail salon for quite some time, and discovering your shop in close proximity filled me with excitement. Upon my visit, I found the ambiance of your salon to be very pleasant, and the welcoming atmosphere truly made me feel at home. I appreciated the swift service I received, as I opted for both a pedicure and a full set of nails, which were carried out simultaneously. However, I must admit that I struggled with the rating I ultimately assigned to your establishment. While the customer service was satisfactory, there were a few aspects that left me feeling somewhat disappointed. I was interested in a particular nail design that I had seen previously, but I was taken aback when the pricing was initially quoted at $130. Although the offer of a 10% discount was mentioned later on, the hesitance displayed by your staff member regarding the design and the time constraints involved ultimately deterred me from proceeding with it. Subsequently, I settled for a more basic nail set, which I felt was lacking in terms of the desired color intensity, necessitating an additional coat. Furthermore, there was a discrepancy in the pricing, as I expected to receive the aforementioned 10% discount for being a new customer, which unfortunately did not materialize during the billing process. While the staff members were courteous and appeared to care about customer satisfaction, these issues gave me pause when considering whether to return for future services.
