I've gone here twice when my normal nail lady is out of town since this salon is so close to my…read morehouse. Unfortunately both times haven't been the best. With my most recent visit I made an appointment online a couple days before. Despite this, I waited for about 20 minutes after I arrived at the shop and the last time I had made an appointment I also had to wait. While someone said hello when I came in, no one asked me if I had an appointment. There were also no books with regular polish options at the front (only gel designs) so it wasn't until I was eventually seated at the pedicure chair that I was given a book to look at when the nail tech asked what color I wanted. My pedicure felt rushed and ended up sloppy on one toe going into the cuticle and chipped in the corner of another before I even left the salon. Because I was switched to a different person for my manicure, the person who did my pedicure was already gone when I noticed as I took out the toe spacer before I left. As for my manicure, I was getting GelX and needed to soak off my previous set. When I was sitting down for the pedicure I asked the woman if I needed to start soaking them off. She went and talked to someone else but ultimately did not begin soaking them while I was getting the pedicure done. Unfortunately this meant once the manicure started the technician spent a lot of time utilizing her drill to try to speed up the removal of the previous set. This resulted in it getting hot and hurting my nail bed and I suspect she also drilled them where they are now thin due to how sensitive my natural nails were. She also nicked my cuticles with her drill so when she asked me to continue soaking my fingers it burned and I had to tell her I couldn't. She didn't apologize, just told me to only soak the other nails that weren't burning. As she was drilling off my set she did get a lot of nail powder on herself and then was using the brush on herself to brush off nail powder before brushing it off my hands. I was really hoping to like this shop, but unfortunately just really did not have the best experience.

I've been here a couple times last year with good/as expected pedicure experiences. Being 6mos pregnant, I can't reach my toes comfortably anymore and was in need of a pedi. My visit last week with Piper was great and just what I needed! I got the farmhouse pedi ($75) with regular polish. She was the sweetest and one of the most gentlest techs I've worked with. I mentioned how I've been getting calf cramps/charley horses this trimester and she took her time massaging my calves by hand and with a mini hypervolt. I went with a nude polish (easy to grow out and remove when I want) and my toes looked clean and refreshed. Will come back and excited to meet and try out the other techs next time.

However, I took a break from getting my anils done for 4 months to allow them time to heal since they were paper thin. They also were charging me $5 for everything little thing. During pedicures, they would do callous remover without even asking if I wanted it and when I brough this up to their attention they brushed it off. BUT my updated review is for the call I just got from them. I have a trip coming up for my birthday next week so I made a Gel X appointment for 09/12/2026 at 11AM on August 23, 2026. I realized I wanted a pedicure as well. So I went on to book a second appointment for the same time as the Gel X, as I always have. I hate sitting at the salon for 2 hours. I have religiously booked my nails and pedicure at the same time so both are simultaneously done for the past two years (PER BONDS RECOMMENDATION). I get a call after booking the appointment online (with the appointment requests for both services together) that they are charging $5.00 now for both services to be booked together. Absolutely insane. $5.00 for two services to be booked together. $75.00 for Gel X (plus $5.00 for designs). $60.00 for a BASIC gel pedicure ($5.00 extra for French tip). $5/$10 extra for callous remover. That totals $155.00 BEFORE TIP. I cancelled both appointments and booked elsewhere. Nail salon culture is absolutely insane.

She is able to pay so much attention to details from every inch of my cuticles to the small designs that she does to my nails. Last week will be my 4th consecutive time that Ivy had done work to my nails and I love it every time. I showed them a picture along the lines of what I wanted and they said no problem. Halfway through, the nail technician told me she was going to use glitter which is not at all what I wanted but she insisted it would match the look. I trusted her and let her continue. By the end, my nails were completely wrong and I was unhappy. They told me it was unreasonable of me to ask them to match a picture. I completely understand that sometimes it won't be an exact replica, but this was blatantly wrong. They told me there was nothing they could do and that I would need to come back the next afternoon to fix it, but of course I had a flight to catch. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't offer any correction. I went to another salon early the next day and they were able to replicate the picture with NO PROBLEMS. They even offered me a discount to redo my nails and fix what this other salon had done so terribly wrong. I trust nail salons to tell me up front if they can or cannot do something. They did absolutely nothing to try to compensate or fix it and had an attitude with me when I expressed that I was unhappy with it. I do not recommend.
