While I was walking by, a private security dog started barking and snarling, and the next thing I know, a private security officer is asking me whether I was carrying any firearms or explosives. (Where exactly I was supposed to have secreted such items while wearing a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, I do not know.) So, first of all, the mall's security dog is flagging visitors for carrying hazardous materials EVEN WHEN THEY ARE NOT. The security system is unreliable. And second, the security dog does not merely make a signal in these circumstances. This dog -- an enormous German Shepherd -- began barking loudly, leaping in the air, and charging at the end of its leash. It was TERRIFYING -- and the dog did this to me twice. All I can say is that I'm thankful I don't have a weak heart. It took a long time to stop shaking. I called the mall manager's office several times, but there was never an answer. No one is keeping watch there, and meanwhile there is a dog terrifying and harassing mall visitors. THIS MALL EMPLOYS A MAN WITH A DOG THAT TERRIFIES PASSERSBY AT RANDOM. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Costco hit a homerun with the combo. Lemon Blueberry struesal loaf. You know those grape sized blueberries? Yes, those. Think of the trendiest gourmet bakery bread, then quadruple their best effort. Costco did the heck out of this. I was actually grinning at how amazing this taste is. I am breaking out my flattop tomorrow, cutting off inch thick slices, heating up the top, toasting slices. Nothing added, maybe a light light drizzle of avacdo oil, but I doubt it needs to to not stick. Do not let this get by you. Please. It's hard to get gotta-have-it deals that lure me into stores as a couponer. When I get coupon codes that are "exclusively" for loyal customers then see that same deal plastered all over the store, I don't feel valued as the loyal customer I am and subsequently feel less inclined to buy anything. There have been two times when I've gone in with codes that I was excited about and ready to buy then got stopped at the counter because I couldn't use them on an item because said item was already on promotion...but a cardholder could still stack 40% off on those deals because, well, they're a cardholder. It nearly made me not want to continue with my purchase, and I may eventually return my purchase as a result. If Old Navy made it easier for its "favorite" customers to get a good deal, my money and I would go there more often.
