I had emergency need on Friday June 17 late at night. Noticed the website for Walmart on Kellogg was posted as open 24 hours as well as other Walmarts. I just moved to Wichita Kansas so I am new to area. I tried to call around 11pm to verify if store was open and no one answered. I do not have a car so I took LYFT, I arrived at Walmart to discover they were not open. I was not able to solve my need plus I wasted $45.00 for round trip ride. I purchased 2 Bell Peppers this evening, and cut into this! Gross. Seems more times than not that I have had issues with fruit or vegetables on day of purchase. Their customer service at the self check out are very positive employees, so at least that was pleasant. read more

I am not a huge fan of Walmart or shopping at mega stores but when I'm on the road and need odd items I just go to either Walmart or target to shop all items I need at once. This Walmart is huge, it's super Walmart that has everything you need for your life. I actually am impressed with this Walmart employees - they are real helpful people (unlike the south Florida Walmart where shop keepers are less knowledgeable than shoppers). In fact they actually walked with me to find what I was looking for at this location. I was really impressed, I offered to give a small tip but the person declined with a smile. Wow. Told it would be "about an hour and 15 minutes." Their service center likes to unnecessarily charge and change tires, and when you complain, had the nerve to refer me elsewhere to another autobody shop. Where i paid yet again for tire that should have already been changed. Put me 7 hours stuck in this city, no answers to Consumer Behavior complaints, I arrived 2 hours before my only nephews funeral. Customer service? Absolutely not, called Mr. Brett Wiley the store manager who acted as if he knew nothing about the complaints sent, and never responded to. Gave his contact info to AZ Attorney General Consumer complaints my state i live in. So no resolution Im now filing with the state of Kansas. Hope I never encounter you crooks again. One reason Walmart lacks empathy and resposibility. And a nice letter will be going to corporate as well...... read more

I've been shopping here for years and love the place. Once you shop there a few times you develop a route that gets everything you need without many extra steps. And since Walmart price matches, you don't need to drive all over town for best prices. Those who complain about Walmart sometimes just have lives which are too busy (often unavoidable), but that's not the store's fault. Or maybe they belong to one of those "hate Walmart" organizations (need a valium for all the time it takes in the store, but somehow they have plenty of time to make endless lists on social media). They could shop elsewhere, and make several stops, but it's too much fun to whine. Last time I was in this particular store I had a list and wasn't sure where a couple of items were. I asked a very helpful employee walking by about things on my list and she went with me to show me where they were. I rarely leave the store without everything I need...and it's only one stop. And it will only get better because the grumpy ones will be shopping elsewhere! read more

I usually shop Walmart or Sam's Club because of the low prices but watch it because the chicken I bought was incorrectly scanned at a higher price than advertised. Only reason I caught it is it was the only item I bought. The clerk was very nice and corrected it for me. read more

This Wal-mart seems to be always understaffed, especially on Sunday evenings. I always have to wait in line and the shelves often need to be stocked. I would much rather pay more at Dillons or Target or drive the extra miles to the Wal-mart on Maize road. I took my car to this place once for an oil change. They were suppose to check the headlights and brake lights. I knew one of my breaklights were out, but they did not catch that. One of my friends went there for an oil change a few years back and they forgot to put the oil cap back on. When he went back to tell them about it, they had several oil caps there and asked which one was his. read more

For the most part, I am not a fan of Wal-Mart. I had a great experience with one employee in this store. She went out of her way to help a friend and it wasn't even her department. I e-mailed the company and gave her a high 5 compliment. Said she was what Wal-Mart should expect of all its employees. This store tends to have a better employee base than the other Wal-Marts in the Wichita area. read more
