She kept talking to another customer and trying to rush me along even though there was no one behind me. She asked cash or gift card back; which I assumed I'd need to bring my debit card since a woman on the phone asked if I'd bring it. I did pay partial cash and partial card that day so it didn't really bother me, but when I tried to apologize about the confusion she just gave me an annoyed look. I work in customer service and I know how frustrating customers can be and I honestly did my best to remain kind and even apologetic since my return was a bit trivial, but I feel like her attitude towards me was unwarrantedly bitter. I'll of course continue to shop here, its a wonderful store, but now I'm honestly a bit nervous about ever inquiring about returns again because of Denise.

However, once again, I walk thru the doors of Eddie Bauer and spend a couple hours enjoying shopping. I needed some jeans, and as a bonus, I needed a smaller size! I also found some nice layering sweaters on clearance, some tops for 70% off, oh, and I bought a couple pairs of jeans and they were 50% on one and 70% on the other. I didn't have my card, so they used a drivers license to call it in so we still got our EB points AND I was able to use my $10 rewards discount. I love this store. I was looking for a specific rug and I tried to describe it. She spent 20 minutes with me helping me find this rug. I was very impressed by the way she gave me a lot of attention, she did not ignore other shoppers and even continued doing her job. She was exceptional.
