Took my niece to build a bear for a new stuffed animal to bring home.. she loves the process of picking out and creating a new stuffy.

My wife told me about her experience at this Walmart this past Friday. My wife picked up some items we needed during midday at this particular Walmart in Victor, and when she was using the self register, she was scanning items and our daughter was trying to scan items as well as it set off the shoplifting alarm in on the register and the male attendant came over and was terribly rude and made a scene so that other shoppers stopped and watched to her even after she explained that our daughter was trying to eagerly help scan items (again she's just 3) and everything was scanned. The attendant, went through my wife's shopping bags, without permission, to make sure everything was accounted for and basically accused every other item he saw in the bag to be not scanned until my wife SHOWED HIM on the register where it was scanned. Every item one by one. Meanwhile he threatened her that "he already voided someone's order today, he's not afraid to do it again with her", then turns to our 3 year daughter and asked her if she's been naughty this year because Santa's watching her. After my wife accounted for all her items in the bags, she said he stood there to watch the remainder of the items being scanned all while trying to look and see if there was something in her stuffed in her coat because, you know, SHE'S EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT!!! SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS CARING TWINS!! How about next time, when you see a pregnant mom, struggling with a little toddler you ask to help her instead of accuse her of stealing and threatening to void her transaction and stand there and stare at her stomach to see if she stealing something under the coat. DO BETTER WALMART!!!!

Checkout had a 1 register open with a long line, but self checkout, which I use, was moving steady so got out in just a couple minutes. This store has the size I need... so I looked & couldn't find the pair that fit. No offer to help me at all. Offered me only a $6 gift card for me to return them. Jeans were selling for $29 if I could've fount the 1 pair in the store. They were a $60 pair of jeans at the original price. Manager confrontational right away even though I was nice & asked to speak to a manager. Unreal...I guess they simply don't care enough to treat people well & try to retain customers. I'll never shop here again & either will my family. Wish I had a better experience & I'd leave a better review. Mgmt said that even if my parents brought their membership card in & looked up what they paid for the jeans Kohl's wouldn't refund that amount...??? MH

A halfway decent blue blazer for $60. I was pretty pleased with the quality of the jacket and have worn it a couple times now. Not the fanciest jacket, but it got the job done. I was next in line but one cashier had to leave and get something for the people she was helping and the other kept checking out people who weren't in the line. The line seemed pretty well marked, unless there was some VIP line I didn't know about, which could be the case. Anyway, I got to check out after a short wait. I was asked if I wanted to round up for JC Penny cares, which I don't know what this is but it sounds like a clever ploy for the company to pay less taxes. I said No Thank you, but she rounded up my price anyway. I was too uncomfortable to say anything so I paid the extra 81 cents. Anyway they have a good belt collection so 5 stars.

JC Penney seems to be holding on to the bitter end. There are some very good deals on some decent clothes, which is why I give two stars. Despite my very best efforts I couldn't even give them my money because there was one cashier at one register and the wait was impossible! I waited over 10 minutes in a line *** of three people! *** All (3) of the shoppers in the store were apparently checking out at once. I'll continue just to shop on line, and be sad that retail is dead (even though I'm contributing).
