Came in on a slow Sunday afternoon to get a few grocery staples. I was in the aisles less than a minute and 2 employees asked if I needed help locating anything. To manager: I really enjoyed talking to your employee when checking out. They were wondering why everyone was coming in for the dumpling squishy. They made a joke saying I can't imagine how many dumplings have been checked out in the self checkout. I bought the dumplings and they were very good! This target is absolutely massive! There were hardly any people in the store, which is so rare for Target! The store offered more products than my normal location since it was much larger in size. They have both self checkout and registers with employees. We used the self checkout option and had no issues. We will be back again soon! read more

This place is awful...NO and I mean No customer service.staff check out is now 10 items or less. MSN kicked out of self checkout...NOcash. Two clerks sitting there visiting with each other. Two checkouts open...one with a woman with 50 plus items spilling blueberries everywhere; the other with 6 at least in line. I had my items rifled through because the clerk sauntered over and rifled through my stuff to tell me I had more than 20 items. I said I'd do 2 transactions...oh, no can't do that. Suggested one of them jump on a register instead of sitting there socializing. Eventually the cart guy jumped on register. When I last the two were still jawing away and another person had arrived with fingernails so long she'd never be able to run a register( or do much of anything else). I'm trying to reach my Target of reviewing all the stores I've been to in recent times, so now it's time to review this one. If we're being honest with ourselves, Target is just Walmart for people who want to feel more fancy and pay 50% more or even 100% more for basically the same stuff. It might be a slightly more ethical version of Walmart - but not much. It's a much better place to check out cute people (which Barbie usually does while I wait in the car, then she tells me to come in because she's made another cute friend she wants me to meet), and it seems people that shop here spend a little more money on trying to look good while they're shopping (lol). Of course it's overrated and definitely overpriced, and I would shop at Walmart before here just because I would save money on the same stuff. But. It's definitely a nicer shopping experience, I'll give it that, and it's extraordinarily popular with the hipster crowd and the middle-class crowd and the elf crowd - wait what - a little bit too popular if you ask me. read more

OOOF!! WTH happened to Target?? Went to the Henrietta, NY store and 1) shelves were disgustingly dirty.. caked on scum all over the edges looked like they hadn't been cleaned since Covid. Laughable that the isles that stock cleaning products were some of the filthiest; 2) maybe 4 Target employees in the store could be seen... fulfillment carts were everywhere, abandoned in aisles, the dressing room had no attendant and heaps of clothes spilling all over the desk onto the floor; 3) same products I saw 3 years ago are still in the same spots on the floor.. can Target no longer afford new products??; 4) litter was strewn all over the parking lot.. granted, it had been windy earlier that day, but in the past management would have been all over that with someone in the parking lot getting things cleaned up. Target used to be my go-to store!! I couldn't believe it. I didn't even want to touch anything the place was so filthy. We left and went across the street to Walmart, and it felt fresher, which just says so much. Really shocked by the obvious rapid decline of Target. read more

The store is messy and there are fulfillment carts in aisles. Boxes and shipment everywhere. Merchandise all over. The store is disgusting. You can't get down some aisles without having to move fulfillment carts. There is just stuff strewn all over cash registers, at the customer service area. The workers are not friendly, the managers are loud and unprofessional. One cashier in particular is so unpleasant I refuse to go in her line. Overall a messy, unorganized junk heap of a store. Poor customer service for online order. First person matched a price on Walmart. I had to change info for credit card and price match disappeared. Called back and got another customer care rep who would not match the price at Walmart. I told him then to match price of Apple Watch from Best Buy. Both were $100 off. He has some BS about both sites using 3rd party sellers. I could believe that for Walmart, but not Best Buy. I bought the watch from Walmart and Target lost a customer. read more

I'm in the new-parent, suddenly-old, mildly-depressing stage of life when Target has just about everything I'm looking to buy. I don't know what happened, or when it happened, but here we are. We went to two different malls (which means like 150 different stores), and couldn't find everything we were looking for. This Target had it all.* Picture frames, towels, curtains, chocolates, sugar bowls...other stores if we were lucky had hideously ugly versions of these things, but Target had simple items that actual people would want to purchase and put in their homes. Kitchen gadgets, electronics, cards, cleaning supplies, chapstick...other stores had a poor selection of these, but not all in one place. I guess this is my life now. _______________ *One thing it had that I could've done without is the worst stank I'd ever encountered in the bathroom. One of my favorite places to shop, Generally during the week this location is pretty quiet and clean and I can do my shopping and get out. Some things are more expensive then say Aldi, Walmart but you just have to price things out as sometimes they do have some decent sales/coupons in their flyer. The produce is generally not the best and other than bagged salads I haven't bought much here. They have a lot of reduced price items especially in their grocery section - check the expiration dates as I have found some items that are over the dates (way over). Get the Cartwheel App - You can add deals and save a lot of money! Sometimes things are 50% off. I have saved hundreds with this app including electronics, accessories, grocery items. The popcorn at the café if also quite tasty if you are looking for snack while shopping or for the way home. read more

Target... stuck somewhere between the mundane and the deep blue chi-chi. The veneer has worn off a bit, the clearance discounts not quite as deep as they used to be, but I still dig Target's approach to retailing. This particular Target has modified it's floor plan and added a deeper grocery section, so you CAN do a little grocery shopping here if you like. Not quite sold on that concept but hey, YMMV. On the whole this Target is pretty well run. Henrietta contains some very high volume retailers & I find myself at this store more than others. I've found, at times, that sale items here tend to be missing tags... which makes it hard to determine what is on sale at any given moment. The good news? It's not hard to find a red-shirted employee to help you snag an advertised item. All-in-all, it's a better shopping experience than WalMart! read more

My favorite Mayonnaise is Duke's Mayonnaise, and it comes from Greenville, South Carolina. Because of that, it's really hard to find in Upstate New York. Walmart & Target say they carry it but when you get to the store, it's not stocked at the stores locally. So, yesterday I was on the hunt for my Mayonnaise. First stop was Wal-Mart in Henrietta and they didn't have it. I walked over to the help desk, and decided I didn't want to bother staff, they were way too busy talking with each other and having a good time. My next stop was Target, located on Market Place Drive in Henrietta.I had already had a bad day, and on top of that, frustrated I couldn't find my Mayonnaise, I inadvertently parked at the wrong end of the building, so I had to walk the entire length of the store to where the Mayo is. Low and behold, they didn't have it either. As I was leaving, pissed they didn't have it, I asked someone what it takes to get them to carry a product that the web site says they already carry in the store. She immediately got on the radio and asked for Kate. Kate came to the service desk where she politely introduced herself. I explained my situation to her, she listened without interrupting, and when I was finished she explained that she could enter an order for me, and that it would ship to my house, free freight. Now I absolutely did not expect her to be able to solve my problem, granted I wasn't going to have it tonight but I was good with Friday. I placed my order for six containers with her, and she handed me my receipt. I'm not a person that shops at big box stores, I prefer locally-owned business, as I've never really had good experiences with big box. Kate on the other hand was amazing! Such a wonderful smile, and eager to help me in anyway possible. She was absolutely professional, listening intently, speaking clearly and without using slang words. She kept me engaged throughout my transaction, but not by doing all the talking. We had a polite conversation and when we were done, I thanked her very much for her help and went on my way, calmer and more relaxed for having interacted with her. Thank you... My friend and I went to Target in Closter, NJ for a Rummikub board game for his son. No sales clerk could be found, so I phoned Target from its game & puzzles department to find out whether Target had it in stock and where. I made the mistake of making more than 3 phone calls (going thru its options menu) in an attempt to get a simple answer and was summarily disconnected each time. Customer service at the front desk was abysmal, and the desk workers were either understaffed or couldn't have cared less. My friend did not find the item looking around the store. I'm glad I rarely, if ever, have bought from Target. read more

Don't buy online from Target!! They took my money for an online order in 12/17/22 and then sent me an email that my item was shipped. It was supposed to deliver today 12/21/22, but instead I got an email that my item is "Undeliverable"! When we called they said it is now out of stock and I'll get my money back in 5 business days! I find this Target as a last resort Target. I don't like the location and I find it dirty and hectic around the holidays, especially Black Friday. Still love the discount sections but it isn't as organized as other Targets. Also the lines seem longer here always. And all Targets have the same line up so I don't understand it. Stopped today to do some Christmas shopping, was kind of quiet surprisingly. Store is clean, well staffed, I did see people working, stocking, and plenty of cashiers were open. Selection here seems to have gone down, and the grocery section seems smaller too. On the plus side, they still have their mini cafe, and I can get my unhealthy soft pretzel which I love so it makes my visit better. For retail in Rochester, this location is good, close to everything, ok prices, and easy in and out. Will be back to this Target. read more

Ok so the 2 stars is because it's target and I almost always walk out of there with 5 times the stuff I came for buuuuuut lucky for me not at this location :/ . Every time I walk in this one which is maybe 1 a year I get a feeling of sudden depression. I feel like I'm in that movie "The Faculty" but its set in target. So on this glorious trip my main reason for coming was the shampoo/beauty section..MISTAKE . Everything was in disarray and all aisle were blocked by carts as they were I'm guessing rearranging. Which is fine but seriously in the morning when everyone is out? How about at night right before closing or after closing? I didn't want to move one of the workers carts out of the way so I asked politely if I could get down one of the isle's . Are you tired of the blatant homophobia of Walmart? Is standing behind their unethical practices too much to ask? Do you need a new sofa AND coordinated desk chairs? Look no further friend. You've located the bullseye, that's literally their logo. They've got blenders, they've got laptops for the email senders and they've got bathrooms for the gender benders who need a blender for their friends the email senders. Seriously, who doesn't love target?! This store is one of my favorites because the customer service is always top notch, the store is very clean and I am just about always able to find what I need. Another great perk of this store is their photo counter. They have an entire digital photo system that you have to Google, for some reason it's not linked on this local stores page of the corporate site but when I send in photos they are ALWAYS done in HALF the time. No joke. The quality isn't something I would ever add to a portfolio but for prints in a pinch, they REALLY nail it! Plus, you can do it from your smart phone if you happen to be a workaholic that never stops like me. I've always supported Target because they've been huge allies to the LGTBQ community but largely in comparison to their biggest competitor the staff are much better trained and far more friendly. I love their PRIDE line that comes out every year and you honestly can't find better stationary short of a craft store. I will say one con of Target's, not all of their furniture is created equal. MOST of it is fabulous quality but occasionally you'll get the dud. Not counting the particle board, piece together yourself and find seven extra pieces kind of stuff. That stuff is total garbage but anyone who's ever bought an entertainment center on clearance knows that. read more

They have all kinds of cool cleaning supplies , they carry Beekman food stuffs and products, cool home stuff, candy, sparkling water, magazines electronics, jewelry, cards and other stuff oh my!! I always enjoy looking at the makeup and skincare, the scented candles, holiday stuff..When they have sales or clearance items get on it! A pretty good target. It is located in a good spot being near the mall and a bunch of other shopping plazas. There is abundant parking available so you never really have to worry about finding a parking spot. This location is a bit larger than some others and always has everything needed. The staff is always friendly but it is target and everyone loves target so it is hard to be angry there. A great place to come for household and personal items! read more

Unlike the majority of votes on Yelp, I like this Target. It might be nothing fancy or special, just like other targets across the country; but It is nice and clean, the colors are warm and inviting. The staff are very willing to help and the house brand comes in a reasonable price and is usually comparable in quality with competing brands. The grocery section is the only quibble I have about this place; it is small and does not provide as many items as I wish they would. They usually give out coupons after your purchase which could be tempting and make you come back for more. This Target is a bit larger than the one in Webster, and it's not located in the former Irondequoit Mall, so for that reason, is my second favorite Target in Rochester. The main reason I like it is that I don't have to deal with Henrietta traffic when I visit. It might be pointless that I'm reviewing yet another Target store, but boredom prevails. It needs to be known that if you're looking for a toothbrush case, do yourself a favor and don't come to this location. You will push your cart through masses of shoppers and discarded items scattered on the floor for thirty minutes trying to find a measly 99-cent toothbrush case until you find one in the pharmacy between fungus cream and aspirin. I don't know if it's the way it is in Rochester, but you will find stuff in the strangest places here. The medium and large trash bags are located in the food section while the small trash bags can be found in the toothbrush/toothpaste aisle. Office supplies are tucked away in the back behind the aisle with bathroom curtains and accessories. On top of that, the store always seems to be packed. Maybe it's because everyone can't leave until they find what they're looking for, and the store's layout isn't helping at all! read more

It was clean and tidy in the normal Target fashion. I was able to find what I was looking for as well as some great deals on clearance. This place was well stocked and the staff was friendly. p.s. This Target is one of the worse I have ever been in. It's unorganized and dirty. The aisles are unkept and you never see staff bending over to pick things up or straighten. I've always had excellent customer service experiences with Target and am a very loyal customer. With that being said.. I bought a phone from them about 4 weeks ago and it wasn't what I expected. I mailed it in for a return 3 weeks ago (I am unable to return in-store because of Covid) and I still haven't received my refund. I have reached out to customer service several times both online and over the phone and I get a different answer every single time; not one is actually being helpful. All I want is my card to be refunded.. Now I'm out over $200 and I'm stuck using an old POS phone. It's very frustrating that a company as big as Target is being so difficult and stingy with their refunds. I'm very surprised and disappointed in their customer service :( read more

It's a large store, but I found it hard to find specific items. I was looking for a bathroom mirror and circled around forever before coming across some mirrors. When we asked someone, they directed us to a section that was home fixings without mirrors. I think ultimately, they didn't even sell this item, but it was annoying nonetheless. read more

Its target...so...its pretty much the same as any other target. I think this one is a little bigger than some of the other area targets. I go in quite often for different things and it is always pretty quick. The only issue I have ever had is that they tend to only have a couple registers open and sometimes the lines can get a little long. read more

I do like shopping at target, but I am very pissed off at there summer selection!!.. I went shopping yesterday to get some summer dresses. I found at least 6 different dresses that were really nice to try on.When I went to try them on I realized that the bust on all the new summer dresses at Target are extremely small.WTF!!!.My boods werent even half way covered! I wear a size large in dresses, so I figured I'd go up to an X-large to see if the chest would be bigger..NOPE!..It still looked ridiculous.Then, I tried on a 2x-large. It looked like a giant moo-moo with more than half of my chest sticking out!...I am soooo angry with Target!..I do have a large chest (DD), but I dont even think that the new line of summer dresses would cover a C-cup.
