For as much as people complain about Walmart......the store is always crowded. I think they have…read morequite the variety of just about anything you need for your home. Their prices are more than fair and the aisles are (usually) well stocked no matter what time of day/night you visit.

You have to enjoy shopping- the "thrill of the chase" is part of the draw for place like these. I would rather wait somewhere with a book.

This cool new Homegoods has tons of great things. It replaces the one at the east end formerly in…read morethe Staples shopping center. Its much busier here. Big fail is the poor register management and resulting lines. Its the lowest level of customer service at the registers. Apparently Homegoods workers cannot ring up, they have to rely on the connected Marshalls cashiers .. and no Marshall's manager checks the lines to make sure the registers are all open when crowds come in. Two days ago I saw the line wrapped around twice and only two then three cashiers. It was bonkers. Most of the registers with no light on. People standing there like cattle for 30 minutes. I found the manager at the back of the abutting Marshall's, two women in fitting room and two floaters chatting. I said.... do you know there are lines going around the whole aisle and down the next and you are not responding with more cashiers? She said ok, I'll see what I can do.. and began chatting.. told me not to wait.. ... stood there... and waited until two more people walked over and began ringing. One woman complained to me that they had cut their hours. So some kind of attitude going on at the store and customers being mistreated big time. I had found a cute white fold up bench and had to tough it out so .. couldn't leave. Hahhaha. They have fun things in there.

I shop here at least 3 times a year since it's over an hour drive from Queens. I love the deals but…read morethe staff are unfriendly. If you change your mind while you're in line waiting to check out, once you get to the register and tell them you change your mind but you're still buying other items... they still roll their eyes and get mad. You shouldn't be rude to customers. I know it can be stressful since i work retail too. But if people are buying in the store you should give them a positive experience and be treated how you would want to be treated as a customer.

(So it wasn't personal which might be worse IDK.) Her delivery of simple information was unnecessarily combative. She is the kind of horrid customer service person parodied in sketch comedy. She made me not want to purchase anything. However, there is a very helpful and nice black gentleman who works there too and he has helped me on more than one occasion that is just lovely. If it wasn't for him, I would avoid this location because of the rude lady. No one needs that stress!

I bought a decent fish eye lenses kit for my iPhone, a selfie stick and a bendable phone holder that I put on my camera stand. I also got an external battery for my phone and waterproof cases. It's significantly cheaper for phone accessories than any other store I've found. And women's tee shirts, shoes, scarves are all $5. They are the same quality as the larger chain stores. While here I also bought a monorail toy train for my son to assemble and Christmas hats. They have a large assortment of festive holiday decorations and accessories to wear.
