To management, corporate leadership. Your layout of your stores condensed uncluttered is ridiculous. Especially on days like today where it's busy. You can't get ttwo shopping carts side by side in 90% of your store. Looks like you're trying to cram a closet's worth of junk into a shoebox. Maybe try a little less 'stuff' and a little more space. Same issue as Ross, and Home Goods. For being a big retail store that's been around for a bit this is poor planing. Maybe if you rearrange the layout of your shelving. I get that every square foot is prime real-estate but Customer Experience is just as important. Customer service was good, good selection of stuff and prices are ok. read more

A cluttered mess with merchandise all over the floors in the aisles, every aisle. Two baskets cannot fit side by side in an aisle. Workers are walking around moving a bit but accomplishing nothing. The service isn't the best, the store is organized really well. My one issue is if you purchase something at the fine jewelry you aren't allowed to check out with any other non fine jewelry items. So you have to do two separate transactions and pay taxes twice. I think that's a scam and definitely discourages me from wanting to shop here. read more

I would give zero stars if I could, but I guess I'll donate the one star to the actual kind employees who were working the registers. The manager, Sima, does not receive credit for this star. I made a purchase that totaled $40.03 and used a gift card to pay for it. When the cashier, Afshi, went to confirm the purchase, the computer froze. The transaction went through on my end, but the cashier swore that the transaction was cancelled. I used a gift card loaded on my Apple Wallet, so when the transaction went through, I got the notification that my balance had changed. I was told that it did not go through and my balance is the same that my card started with. I showed her and the manager, Sima, that my phone showed how much was charged and that I needed to get my money back, whether that be on a gift card, but they would not refund my money. I was told we had to wait for the computer to unfreeze before I could receive a refund. Sima was EXTREMELY rude to me and did not handle the situation correctly. We waited for 40 minutes before we decided to leave and come back. I wrote my information down and the total from the purchase. I came back about an hour later to find that the computer was back up and running and was told that the transaction was cancelled, so I wasn't charged. Sima was incorrect and I had still been charged $40.03. I asked to see proof that the transaction was cancelled, but she laughed and would not let me see the screen that showed it (even though she had shown it to me an hour before). She only showed me a picture she took on her personal phone (and zoomed in on a part of the picture that wasn't relevant to the issue). I asked if she could send me the picture she took for proof of the cancelled transaction. She said no, she could not send that to me (even though she was able to show it to me). I then asked for the transaction number. She's said it was 1785. Sima was extremely rude in this situation and this ordeal took over an hour. I ended up RE-PURCHASING the two water bottles, which totaled $80.06 that I spent today at TJ Maxx. I would love to receive my $40.03 that was taken from me today. My gift card originally had $68.74 on it, but with $40.03 taken from me, it now shows that it only has $28.71 left on it. I have always loved TJ Maxx and spend a lot of money at the stores, but after today, I am disappointed in how TJ Maxx allowed their manager to treat me today. On the other hand, the other employees were extremely kind and I know that the computer freezing was not their fault. They did all that they could, but Sima needs to be reported for how she handled this situation. She definitely put a bad taste in my mouth about TJ Maxx and left me, a pregnant woman, stressed about something that could've been avoided. I have never complained to a manager or store about incidents. This was one that warrants contacting customer service. read more

The store started announcing they were closing an hour and a half before closing and repeated every 20 minutes over the speaker. I got to the register 38 minutes before they closed and they shut off the lights on everyone..... I asked the cashier to confirm they were closing in 38 minutes and she confirmed. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I stood at jewelry for quite a long time. There was a girl working nearby, yet did not call anyone to help. I stood longer. I then saw a manager and another employee walk over to her. I asked if anyone was working at jewelry and the "manager" named Lilly rudely told me one of the girls would be with me in a minute. I decided to set the other stuff I was going to buy down and leave. Then I decided to talk to a manager. I was told she (Lilly) was a manager so I asked for another one. Another girl came over and I explained that Lilly was extremely rude and wanted the corporate number. She, Taylor, did not offer an apology. Just told me the corporate number was behind register 8. This made me even more mad and I told her I didn't want to walk over there and she needs to give it to me. So she went over to the registers, told two more co workers about me as they glared. So I walked o dr to get the number. I let her know that she didn't even offer an apology so I received a have a nice day. I will never ever go back there again and I will tell everyone I know how horrible they treat customers. This is the nicest TJ MAXX our family has ever been to. Two reasons: 1) It has a nice outlet store look instead of the cluttered discount store look. 2) It's so much more spacious than other stores. Typically, my main inhibitor to visiting other TJ Maxx stores was how cramped, messy, and just ugly they were, but this one is so nice I got the TJX credit card and am so excited to keep shopping here. TJ Maxx is one of my favorites stores, and when I heard that they were opening one in Prosper, Texas, I was very happy. However, today I had the worst experience when tried to return a shirt. The cashier was rude and judgmental, and if you experience bad customer service in a store, the majority of times, the majority of people will not return to that store. read more

Horrible little manager at least she claimed that she was. She is hispanic lady but I don't know her name. Came to return an online order with the receipt on my phone. I have never had problem returning with a phone receipt ever in any other location. This was my first time with her and she gave me the hardest rudest experience ever! Told me that I cannot return it in the store. Every single online return policy tells you that you have a choice of returning things at the store. She just kept on making up reasons for me not to be able to return, even though I had all the support online receipt and absolutely no damaged or problematic issues. She was so horrible! Kept telling me that I should not bring these things to the store and return them by shipping. Kept talking about how I should not come back and this is is too much for her to do. I just stood there in shock. I had to ask for someone else to assist me because I was about to cry. Horrible little untrained unprofessional worker. read more
