After a workout, I stopped by this TJ Maxx to pick up a last-minute Christmas gift. The wide range and quality of the products impressed me. They had an entire section dedicated to Hello Kitty merchandise. So I began stockpiling items for the Hello Kitty fans in my life. Perla, one of the employees, noticed my cart and excitedly told me about the new Hello Kitty bag that had just arrived. She was so sweet. She also kept my shopping cart secure while I went to get a gift card from my car. I left with gifts for several people, including myself. I only removed one star because the aisles were narrow due to all of the items. Perhaps they can rearrange the clothing racks and shelves to make more room for people to walk through with shopping carts. read more

Another TJ Maxx! This store seems pretty small compared to other locations. The layout is also different than I'm used to. To be so small, it's packed with merchandise which can be a little overwhelming. It's very organized which helps. The associate in the jewelry department was super friendly and helpful. The shoe section is lacking. All in all, it's a nice store. read more

Terrible slow, cashiers are super slow. All have Terri so attitude. I was literally yelled at by one of the cashiers.

I love this tjmaxx but the employees are horrible. I was checking out and returning some items and she kept snatching everything from my hand and throwing things around like a rag she was so disrespectful. I had the receipt on my phone from email and I told her to give me one second so I can get it for her and she rolled her eyes and told me Can I see the receipt I showed and her she aggressively grabbed my phone after she threw the receipt and didn't even tell us to have a good day and walked away. I went there for a return. Actually outside there's a big sign that says Tjmax and Homewoods. I had 3 things to return, some candles that were from that specific store and 2 more from 'TJ Max. The store manager 'MD H Coordinator ' an extremely rude guy said nothing no store credit. I asked him why, he said that the store was Homewoods. Not TJ max (I don't know how I was supposed to know that? if outside it has both names. He didn't want to take anythin, so when I said I was going to write a review, he checked if the candles were from there. They actually were and he gave me the store credit. The cashier, Gia, didn't want to give me his name. She said she didn't know. But 1 min later asked him something by his name. The store gave notice that they would close soon, but an employee named YOLANDA, in a very aggressive and upset state, began to yell at me to go pay now, she repeated to her to calm down and she got even more upset, other store employees had to intervene to make her calm down, she was very aggressive and very rude, I hope they check the cameras, I have been visiting that store for 12 years and all the employees know me, they have always been kind, this woman is new but she is very aggressive read more

I am so disappointed in this store. It is one of my favorite stores , especially shopping for blouses and home goods. But when I go in, and as a nurse, look around and see people walking around without a mask on, despite the surge in Covid infections and hospitalizations, I don't want to come to this store any more. Ok, so I'm a snob. I saw "Made in Italy" sticker on a $20 cutting board and bought it. Within the first 3 days of use and washing it the wood layer started to split. I took it back to this store to return. The cashier guy was staring at it for a while like a jeweler studying the flaws in a diamond. Then he asked me if I used it. I said yes of course, that was the whole idea of my purchase. And I pointed out the defect. He took it to the back of the cash register where at least 2 more people joined him in the discussion. After waiting for quite a while, I asked them what seems to be the problem? The most senior of the 3(supervisor or manager I assume) said - it's used, we normally don't accept such returns but I'll go ahead and do it THIS TIME. Lol. I bought an inexpensive $6 item from the check out line. The cashier charged me for it, but did not bag the item. I noticed when I got home. I went back the following day with the receipt and explained the story. I wanted the item and had to buy it again. It was terrible service. read more

BAGNABBIT! Every time I come to this store, my eyes bug out of my head when I see the prices on the designer bags. Purses that I wouldn't even think of touching at a mall department store, never mind picking up, are all over the place with those enticing little "You Pay" tags on them. My wise mother used to say, "Labels are for people with more money than taste." That is, if you don't know enough about merchandise to judge quality for yourself, you use labels as a crutch to guarantee that others will approve of your acquisitions. And I subscribe to this philosophy whole-heartedly, so, why then do I want to curl up and live inside the Coach bag I bought here a few weeks ago? Because it is gorgeous, and simple, and made of leather so soft and lustrous I want to stroke it like a lapdog whenever I sit down. That's why. So I guess I don't regret it. If you want to avoid buying a bag when you visit this store, avert your eyes from the section on the left when you enter. I'm warning you, if you look that way, you will be drawn in by an irresistible force. A pretty little purse will leap onto your forearm, or a slinky leather satchel will jump onto your shoulder. You'll look at the tag and exclaim, "65% off?!" and it will be all over. You're hooked. I don't come here often enough to have figured out the delivery patterns, but some days the shelves are stuffed with brand new arrivals and other times it's a little barren. I love this store! They have everything you could want,but I guess everyone agrees with me because the lines are out of control. I wait already 30-40 minutes every time that I go there to make a purchase. I will say they have wonderful options for the home. I love that they have home goods. As with any Ross, Marshalls or TJMaxx-type store.. you have to be in the *MOOD* to shop. Don't ever go looking for one thing in particular. Spent about an hour there today and left with 3 nice dresses for under $50 total. Dressing rooms are renovated - even though the whole "please hang up your clothes on the rack and wait for me to count them" policy is obnoxious (or maybe it was just the attendant). Some nice designer things available - drooled over a few leather purses I had to leave behind. But I consistently find outfits here - although I always seem to have luck in the dress section. read more

I totally agree with Ginger!! I saw a couple of things that were the exact same thing with different prices on them. Good for the home goods stuff for cheap. The clothing is hit or miss like most bargain stores. The dressing rooms at this particular store are really nice...so you don't have to be afraid to go try anything on. The check was a slow process....only 2 workers checking people out...and not very quickly. I've been here a couple times and found some things I like each time (which is a miracle for me). So, if your in the mood to shop...and spend some time doing it check this place out. read more

Customer service is terrible! Interacted with 3 employees - all approached me in Spanish and with a major attitude. T.J. Maxx is good for certain things like: sheets, towels, bathroom rugs, baby clothes, umbrellas, etc ... This one actually has an excellent selection of accessories, too. I've purchased decent jewelry, BUT you have to wait in line and take a ticket (a la the meat counter at the grocery store) which takes a lot longer than just saying, "Can I see that? Or that?" The only things keeping me from giving this one four stars are the fact that you could die waiting in the line. They have eight registers but there are never more than three people working and they take their sweet time doing so. And there are always pricing debates to be had at the register. I've been there more than once and found the exact same thing with two different prices on it and they wouldn't sell both items for the same price no matter how logical that seems. This may be why the line is always backed up to China. Nevertheless you can find designer stuff for cheap. And I guess that's worth the wait. read more

This TJ Maxx is much cleaner and better organized than some others, but when I went the brand selection pretty much sucked. I was looking for shoes, a bag and some wear to work clothes, and literally found nothing. Ended up leaving with some soaps and stuff for the house. The store itself is clean. The cashiers are always friendly. The only reason I'm giving it a low rating is because of one of the manager Herold Matias. I went in this afternoon to return some items. The cashier Shirley was friendly and professional. She noticed that my receipt was over 30 days so she told me it will be a store credit. I told her I didn't want a store credit, I wanted the refund back on my TJMaxx card. Shirley went and check with Leone and Leone (as friendly as Shirley was) also stated the same thing. Leone even stated that if it was only one day over she could've override it. The items were 10 days over the 30 days return policy. Leone went to ask one of the managers (Herold Matias) and he said no. They were just a few feet away from me but Mr. Matias' interaction with Leone seems more dismissive than anything else. I decided to call customer service and explained what was going on. At this time Mr. Matias was by shoe aisle putting things away. While I was on the phone with customer service (they were pleasant) I walked up to him and ask him if he was the manager. He annoyingly answered "one of them". Then asked me "what is this about?" I told him I was the lady up front with the return and showed him the receipt. He looked at the receipt and stated "it's over 30 days. It's policy. What do you want me to do about it?" and walked away from me while I was still speaking to him. His attitude was dismissive, unhelpful and downright rude. I understand it's policy but both Shirley and Leone were pleasant and showed some kind of understanding. In a world were customers have several options I will suggest Mr. Matias learn some customer service skills from his employees. read more

This is a store that I have been a loyal customer to since their opening. Their service has never been perfect but the team always did their best. I am sorry to say that tonight was unacceptable. The website clearly states open until 10:00PM. Announcements were made at 9;00PM that the store was closing in 30 minutes. The majority of the customers went to the check out but as usual there were a few stragglers. An employee named Alex loudly said to the cashiers"It's 9:30 what's up?" I explained (from the check out line) that the website said closing was at 10PM so perhaps that was the confusion with the customers. Alex replied that those were holiday hours and the website was not his problem. He then escorted an elderly woman who was still browsing to the check out in TEARS at his verbal abuse. Such a shame that a good team suffers for one employee who clearly is unprofessional and uncaring. read more
