It's fun to look at the various sorts of clothing offered at the location, they bring in some interesting designers so the selection is pretty varied. The bar also offers a couple leather couches to relax on which are comfortable and nice way to relax from all the walking that is common around Wynwood. The owner, Emilio Uribe, is a fabulous modern-day renaissance man, collecting (and creating) tons of interesting clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags, other accessories and artwork from both vintage and up-and-coming designers/artists. One never knows what to expect when coming back to Haus Fashion Lab.. The owner makes absolutely sure that the store, just as the customer's experience, is continuously evolving. Every time I go back the store seems to have re-invented itself with a new layout or new line of clothing/accessories or newly-acquired vintage items. HFL is fully committed to detail and to providing customers with a vast array of interesting, beautiful objects and personalized service. On one occasion, I witnessed the owner styling (and doing make-up for) a celebrity for a red-carpet event while agreeing to make custom pants for another customer's 12 year old daughter (to match her mother's) while coordinating a fashion shoot going on across the street at Wynwood Walls.... and he still had the time to make each and every customer feel welcomed as he/she walked through the door! I cannot say enough great things about HFL. There is something for everyone... whether you are male/female, young/mature... and whether you can afford to spend $30 or $3000. It is the absolutely perfect place to buy a unique gift for that person that has everything (while picking up a few fierce pieces for yourself!).

I follow quite a few yoga Instagram pages and was instantly drawn to the Pima Inca Jumpsuit after seeing a video clip of someone doing yoga in this comfy, flowy, onesie, on the beach. I then began stalking Pitusa's IG page in a non-creepy, lover of all things boho/jumper kindof way. I thought the pricing was a little high so I continued to stalk until I decided to sign up for their email alerts and BAM! 20% off coupon! I then said to myself..."self, 20% off is a pretty good deal, GO FORTH and buy thee a jumpsuit"...and subsequently did just that. Shipping was reasonably priced and very quick. In addition, they give you an update email when your package is enroute, a second when your package has been dispatched for delivery and a third after it's been delivered. I really love when companies do that, it's the little things that make all the difference. I think when my package arrived I lived in that damn jumper for like a week. Slept in it, lounged in it, yoga'd in it. I have not beach'd in it but that was actually the primary reason for purchase. I now understand the pricing. The Pima Inca is SO soft and so well made. There are small buttons on the side of the jumpsuit for functionality of getting into it, the neck lining is beautiful and it feels so nice...I know I said that already but it's worthy of being mentioned twice. I didn't wanna post a review until I had a chance to wash it and realized that I had some questions about care which I direct messaged to the company on IG. Within 24 hours I received a response and had a nice little conversation with a representative from the company. Again, stellar customer service. There are companies on IG that literally never respond. After putting my jumper through the washer it still looks and feels beautiful. My experience was such a positive one that I ordered a couple more things (including another Pima Inca Jumpsuit in a different color). My only caution would be to pay attention to materials because for instance, the Pima Inca Jumpsuit is made of 50% cotton/50% polyester. There is also the Knit Inca Jumpsuit which is made of 100% viscose and looks exactly the same but comes in different colors. There are a handful of items with this option. They also have a great rewards program where you earn points for various things (including purchases ofcourse) which transfer to the coupon equivalent. I am so happy that I stumbled across this brand.

Came here with a friend who had bought a cute top. She actually thinks it is a dress but she preferred to wear it as a long top. It looked really cute and summery. However, I think this shop epitomizes what isn't working. Yes, the clothes are high end and expensive but I saw few if any pieces that made my heart jump, skip, or hop. There was no Marni mouth dropping moment. There is no love at first sight shoe from Louboutin. There isn't even that odd mix of inspiration and infatuation from Tomas Maier. I found the men's collection to be a bit better with an Etro shirt in a colorful of the moment plaid but overall the store lacked strong pieces or even amazingly feminine staples. Even more telling is the odd, mismatched feel of the store. The aesthetic is worn and dated. Feng Shui anyone? anyone? Speaking of odd the door was locked when I pulled on the handle, in the middle of the day. Suddenly, I felt oh so safe ;-) Again, I want to see more stores, a well curated cocktail of boutiques ranging from hip vintage boutiques brimming with treasures to high end international names, and local up and comers.
