After wasting what felt like a significant portion of my life searching through the disarrayed shelves of dress shirts, I was informed that the card readers were not accepting debit cards. Conveniently, they were accepting Belk's money-grab credit cards. I would expect a sign to be posted alerting potential victims of the outage; no information was conveyed whatsoever. The woman behind the counter refused to take any responsibility, claiming "Yes, they should have put up a sign." She, too, works at the establishment, and could have put up a sign herself. As far as my thoughts on Belk, I'd put money on bankruptcy number two coming soon. I'd prefer to drag my feet across a cheese grater than return.

I actually got there right before 10 a.m. and still managed to get a gift card. Upon walking in I was greeted by the employees and was instantly amazed. Compared to the F21 at the Mall of Louisiana it is smaller, however, it isn't a clutter mess. Granted its new but it's more appealing. Plus it's not so big so upkeep should be easier. Even with the grand opening the employees were still ever friendly and helpful. I had no issue at all and found some nice items. They offer womens, Plus size, mens, boys, and girls all under one roof! Only thing that makes me curious about the "RED" title is that the prices look just like the regular F21. So, I didn't see the real difference in them. That's only bc the red store is supposed to be cheaper. Nonetheless, I'll definitely be back again! Denham Springs and Juban Crossing is on the come up.

The dried water stains on the mirror, the clogged toilets, the smeared poop stains on the walls and the wet toilet paper on the floor was actually FERAL. With all those employees standing around "monitoring" the customers at self-check-out, you would think at least one of them could check to see if the bathroom had been cleaned. I highly recommend avoiding this location until they can get their act together.

My husband was not thrilled about one on Florida and this location was just right off the I-12 at the beautiful Juban Crossing shopping center (only about 15 minutes from home for me, without traffic). This is such a great store because there are so many brand named shoes for awesome prices. It was a record for me to get out of there within 10 minutes. Ha, ha. I saw a bunch of cute wedges on sale for $20, Volatiles on sale for $44-$50 and tennis shoes on sale! So, scooped up 4 pairs of shoes and got to spin the wheel and it landed on $5 off my total! Wooooohooo! I walked out of there with 4 pairs of shoes for $111.00. Super, right? The employees were a little off though. Sadly, no one asked if I needed any assistance. I pretty much had to drag someone away from chatting with a co-worker and I had to ask the lady at the check-out counter, if I could spin the wheel, since I got 3+ pairs of shoes. Gosh, who trained this staff? Hope this will change to a 5-Star review during my next visit.

I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the pharmacy team at Sam's Club. Denham Spring!…read more Today I called for help with my rescue dog Roux's seizure medication. In over 20 years of being a client with my veterinarian, caring for 14 dogs, this was the first time I ever needed help with a refill situation like this. Roux is not just a dog. He is a rescue I saved from an abusive situation when he was only six months old. He has been loved, cared for, and part of our family ever since. I was already carrying a heavy emotional load with my husband's terminal illness, and I was hoping for compassion and help finding a solution. Instead, I left the conversation feeling like I was being lectured about procedures rather than heard as a person who was trying to protect her dog. I understand rules and policies exist. But compassion matters too. Sometimes people need someone to help them find a way forward. The pharmacy staff at Sam's Club listened, cared, and stepped up. They treated me with kindness and are working to help resolve the situation. That meant more than they know. Thank you, Sam's Club Pharmacy, for reminding me that compassion still exists. Roux is loved, and I will continue doing everything I can for him. Roux Rae #ThankYouSamsPharmacy #CustomerCareMatters

Food Court Review…read more PITIFUL, Just PITIFUL at best. Corporate, you have a problem. I have no words about how pitiful and sad the food court in Sam's Club in Denham Springs is. The employees are slow, move with no hustle or intensity no matter how many customers are in line to place an order or customers waiting for an order. This was not my first time visiting the food court and every time, it's the same old story. SLOW MOTION but today was by far one of my worst visits. This review has been a long time coming. I took my granddaughter to get a pizza because that's where she wanted to get a pizza from (why???, with the slow service from previous visits to the food court, I have no idea why). After standing in line for more than 15 minutes behind only five customers, she orders a whole pepperoni pizza. I see a female employee who walks over to the holding unit and reaches her a warm, less eye appealing pizza. I guess the employee thought since it was a child ordering, she would not notice and accept the pizza. I approached the counter and asked for a HOT pizza coming out of the oven. The employee wasn't too happy with my request and rudely stated, "the pizza is hot and just came out of the oven; you will have to wait". News flash, the entire time I was standing there observing as I normally do whenever I order food, she NEVER placed a pizza out of the oven in the holding box. I don't mind waiting 10 - 12 minutes for a hot pizza which is how long it should take to bake and cut a pizza because the pizzas are actually premade and stored in the cooler until baking. We waited an additional 20 plus minutes for a hot pizza to come out of the oven. She kept giving customers who ordered pepperoni pizza from the oven after us. I think she was doing it intentionally. It was not until a male employee brought it to her attention that we ordered first were waiting. She was moving so slowly, pizzas were sitting at the edge of the oven and on the cutting table for extended periods of time before she took action to cut and box the pizzas. In my opinion, she is a lazy employee with an attitude. If she is having a bad day or don't want to provide good to excellent customer service, she should QUIT and give someone else the opportunity. There were three employees working (two female employees and one male employee). The male employee seemed to be the only one moving with a purpose and doing the best he could. He even asked the female employee to switch places with him because he was faster at making the pizzas, but she refused. No adjustments made to take care of the customers. I've worked in some high-volume busy pizza restaurants for more than 25 years and it takes less than 10 minutes to make, bake, cut, and box pizzas at the busiest times. And I can tell you, this was not their busiest time. Even though this review is about the food court, it's a direct reflection of the Sam's Club management staff and store. It's such a shame, because the pizzas are actually good when they are made correctly, fresh, hot, and served without an ATTITUDE.
