I had an incredibly frustrating experience at the pharmacy today. After spending 3 hours at urgent care with my 5-year-old due to an allergic reaction, I was told to pick up some Benadryl. I went to Target, grabbed the medicine along with some deodorant and body wash, and headed to the pharmacy. I was the only one in line, but the tall, white male pharmacist rudely told me to go to the front of the store to check out instead of helping me there. When I explained I had over-the-counter meds, he dismissed me and said he was too busy filling prescriptions and that they only handle prescriptions at the pharmacy. I was already stressed out and upset from the urgent care visit, and his condescending attitude made it so much worse. I went to the front to check out, and the cashier there actually apologized and said she couldn't believe how rude the pharmacist had been. I get that pharmacies can be busy, but there's no excuse for treating customers this way, especially when I was the only one in line. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable, and I won't be returning to this pharmacy again. read more

So I don't get to Target as much as I would like because it takes me 40 min to get to the Millerville location from my house. Livingston Parish REALLY needs a Target! However, when I do get by here I enjoy it very much. The products are so much better. Yes they are a little more expensive than Wal-Mart but I don't feel like I need to explain that further, you should just know. I ordered online for outside pickup but when I arrived had to go potty. So I went inside and the bathroom was clean. However, The stalls were squished. My butt was hitting up against the box for pads because of their poor planning (and I'm a size 12 which is average). I was shocked that they have a liquor store inside the store. I know we were in Louisiana but it was still a surprise. They have a great deli and great employees. Then I left. And drive back to my store only to realize that I forgot my pickup order. First time in a Target this weekend. First the one on Siegen and then this one. Don't see how anyone would ever shop at Walmart again after going to Target. Lots of space. Clean. Bright. The employees are much nicer and the customers are easier on the eyes. Both targets in Baton Rouge are a bit out of my way but neither Walmart or Walgreens had the specific beard trimmer that I wanted after the one I had been using mod-trim. My favorite grocery store! And my daughters' favorite place for skincare, especially since they have a mini Ulta in there now. We've used the Target debit card for years so always get 5% off every purchase. I find the employees are very helpful. I do find that since their online ordering has picked up tremendously over the years, their customer service area inside is a little slower. Is what it is I guess because their app and online ordering is the best! As one of my girls puts it, "I could live at Super Target." Ever since the flood in 2016, this location has been renovated with a secluded section in front of the store for all things alcohol - including beer, wine, and liquor along with gift bags to accommodate. This super Target is one of the trendier grocery stores to walk around and get lost at in Baton Rouge -- there's just soooo much to look at! I've noticed that this is probably the better location, mainly due to the cleaner restrooms and the friendlier managers. The store is usually organized and it's always a quiet which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Sometimes they have great deals, such as "buy x amount of this item and receive a $5 or $10 gift card," so it's a great store for couponing! And if you find a lower price, Target price matches with specific competitors which you can do at customer service and you can still earn gift cards from those purchases (awesome, right?). I believe that they still have the $1 spot section closer to the right side entrance, which is cool for finding cheap little nicknacks. Oh, and if you need some morning coffee or a midday pick me up, there is a Starbucks cafe right inside of the left entrance. As I sit and ponder how many stars, I wonder what I seek in a big store these days--super target, super Walmart, maybe Costco and Sam's are competitors, who else? Cleanliness--this location has always been clean, smells good---yep pleasant aroma. Wide aisles? Yes again and aisles are not cluttered. Fully stocked? While I have found it out of tennis balls many times but that was post pandemic when one was unable to find a lot of stuff but other than that, I have usually found anything I wanted; deli and bakery? Yes. Grocery is nice. Short wait to check out---my experience is yes---you can make it short as there are self checkouts and usually a few cashiers. Restroom clean? Yes--no complaints here. Trying to stay ahead of the curve? Yes, a modern stores with increased self check out and modified parking to promote the pickup /deliver your order to your car parking spaces. am I not wanting to Geaux 5 star here because there are check marks abound? What can I say negative about this location as I try to be unbiased & critical in my reviews? Okay, I found two things I will mention--(1) it seems to me that Target's redesign of its parking lot to promote its delivery to your vehicle pickups has you parking further from the store than most of its competitors and (2) at times Target throughout the store it has a computer self help--check price, check inventory/call for help/request a sales associate kiosk---well, the check price and check inventory has always been helpful and informative (meaning tell you whether something is in stock) but each time I asked for help/ request a sales associate , it appears the button is broken as no employee has ever appeared and there goes 5 minutes of my life. So, should that offering knock this locale from a 5 star to a 4 star when others competitors don't have this innovate type offering? This morning before daybreak though says no. read more

On yesterday I went to the Target on Millerville in search of some nude sandals/heels. I was so disappointed when I couldn't find my size. I saw an employee pass by and I asked for assistance. Without hesitation Courtney (a young black female) went out of her way to help me search for my shoe. She was able to locate the size at Siegen Lane. I pick up my shoes. The newly renovated Millerville location is probably one of the most cleanest and organized Target I've ever been to (compared to the Siegen location being a hot mess). Most excitingly it's truly refreshing to see such an updated and kept up bathroom every time I visit. The Target pharmacy is amazing here because the pharmacists are always very kind and ready to help. Additionally this Target carries an extensive selection of women's clothes in all sizes, styles, and brands. The clothing department is exceptionally clean and organized. Browsing is made effortless. The home and furniture section has also received a facelift with its trendy decor and set up. The visual displays are constantly updated and visually pleasing. It makes you want to splurge mindlessly on all the cute furniture and decor! It's been nearly 2 years years since they renovated this location and I hope that it will continue to stay the way that it is! Kudos to management and the employees! read more

I always feel like the doors of sunshine has opened when I go to target. Every is so neat and organized, the basket are always available and clean. I especially love to stylish fashions and the modern decor on display. The produce and meats are always priced well and fresh. Bought some Krave jerky at the cash register and it was 1.5 years old. I'm disgusted.

Be careful what you buy when it comes to dairy and meat products. On two different occasions I've bought food, and within two weeks or less the food was already growing mold. This is processed deli meat and cheese that I picked up and drove immediately back home within 5 minutes to put in the fridge. I'm thinking the food isn't kept refrigerated at all times while being delivered to the store and stocked. Idk. I've never had that issue with food from other stores. Pick up was no issue thru the app and wait time minimal. The store is clean and I still shop there occasionally for other things. read more

This store does not do pickup on first come first serve. Rather, by size of order. The gentleman next to me waited half an hour for his large order only after going into the store. I went in after a 20 minute wait for my large order..same thing...they hadn't even started the order. Small orders had come and gone. Unacceptable! read more

This target was rebuilt after the flood. It's so much nicer now too. The hard wood floors are more appealing than the ugly tile they use to have. The store is kept very clean. Barbara at lane 13 on 4/18/22 wasn't a good cashier. Definitely not Target quality. The elderly person before me purchased two items, one was a pillow and Barbara halted the belt until the elderly person exited the building so I was placing item on the belt manually. She started the check out being rough with the items I was purchasing. Didn't bother me too much until she started ripping the coupons off my beef jerky and throwing the jerky in the bag without scanning the coupon. I purchased 8 packages. When I asked her if she scanned the coupons, she confidently stated she "sure did." Scrolling up and down the screen to show me she "sure did." She then stated she will do it later. While Barbara was manually putting the coupons in, she scrolled up and down and up and down a couple more times... I was frustrated and told her that's fine. I paid for my items and left. I ended up paying $6 more than I should have. I think self check out is the way to go. read more

Although it is very close to my home, Target is one of my least favorite grocery stores to shop at. I went there this morning to get some things before the weather gets ugly later and there was not a single live cash register open! I despise using self checkout especially if I have fresh produce. I love this Target! It's huge, it's never too crowded, it has everything, and parking is easy. I love the giant food section this one has. Also they have a really good (and tidy) selection of the latest visiting designer fashions. Seems like since this location doesn't get too crowded, you can usually find something cute in your size. There's a Starbucks inside too just incase you need your caffeine fix while shopping. This is totally silly, but I always manage to find a shady parking spot so extra points for that too! read more

I have never encountered a Super Target until I moved to Louisiana. Now, I am officially spoiled because I can no longer live without a Super Target. It's definitely a step up from your typical Target that has all the departments in addition to some food aisles. There is a grocery section here. I cannot say I can always find he fruits and vegetables I need, but they have the basics. I choose Target over Walmart any day of the week and though this was is a bit further from my residence, I like coming here. Customer service has always been fab here from the cashiers to the employees working the floor. Many may agree with me that Starbuck's is what makes this place golden. Tired of shopping or need a coffee break to think about your shopping list? Slip into the Starbuck's cafe adjacent to the entrance! There is even a Target Cafe adjacent to the exits, so you if that's your thing, that's also an option. Optometry and optical sales is even available, too. read more

I entered this Target in July of 1998 to get toilet paper and I just emerged today with organic pineapple juice, a mahogany bookshelf, the latest Jodi Picoult novel, a Phd in family and consumer science, a flat of raspberries, 2 for 1 Colgate toothpaste, a fashionable 1 piece swim suit, a 98 oz jar of spaghetti sauce, Rachel Ray cat food, "live laugh love" wall decor, pomegranite margarita mix, 3 small children ages 2,5 and 7, all of the Star Wars films on blu ray, and a caramel macchiato. 10/10 would shop again. read more

Rarely do I have any issues here. The one time I did, they went above and beyond to make it right, without me requesting it. Competitors should take notes. Better atmosphere, faster checkouts, and prices are very competitive with the the other supercenter! Target is always my number option! read more

This Target location DOES NOT adhere to the enforcement of the state's mask mandate. I was horrified to see customers being allowed to walk into the store without a mask without anyone stopping them. I confronted a few and was told to "mind my business because it was their right not to wear a mask"! An associate overheard one woman say this and she didn't tell the woman to put on a mask. If anything this associate hurried away. There was even an Associate not wearing a mask! I reported this to several associates and was told by each one that they would "find someone to take care of it". Not one of them called anyone or moved to ensure customers complied with wearing a mask, One Associate did tell me they are "not allowed" to do anything if the person says they can't comply due to medical reasons. That's not true. ADA said there's no reason for anyone who can't comply with the mask mandate to be running around during Covid. If anything, they need to quarantine more than anyone else. So, that suggests to me that they don't want confrontation. If that's the same then take down your signs that say you keep your stores safe for all customers, because you do not. If you don't believe me just look at your store's surveillance cameras around 1:30 - 2 p.m. on Wednesday August 26. You can clearly see people without masks and the associate at the front of the store allows them to walk right in. Not one word to any of them. I'm deeply disappointed and a call to Corporate and the city to report the lack of enforcement is next. read more

The staff here are SO ATTENTIVE. If they notice you pondering in an aisle for just ONE second, they are asking if you need help to find something. And....if by chance you happen to require assistance, they never hesitate to walk you over to the location. And this happens ALL the time here! Great staff, great customer service. read more

It has a well lit and spacious parking lot. Lots of trees so in the daytime has a lot of shaded parking spots. Didn't see any carts roaming around the parking spots so that is a plus! The store is clean and well stocked along with having a Starbucks and a little target cafe! Very yummy marshmallow Rice Krispie treats. Best part about the store. FREE WIFI throughout the whole store and it's pretty fast. Customer service could've been a bit better but my cashier looked tired and it was 9pm at the time. She was however very speedy with scanning our items so that is a plus! Staff is very helpful and friendly but did saw some goofing around in the job. In a safe area with lots of stores nearby like best buy, Lowes, Pet Smart, Chilis, etc and it is right off I-12. I love coming here to shop and very convenient area for me to do my errands. read more

Just left this store. The lady who ran the self checkout wouldn't let us purchase a Lego item that was on the shelf. She said "Oh it won't let us scan this." She then snatched the product from our hand and said, "I'll have to let a manager know. Sorry." Apparently the product isn't supposed to be on the shelf yet? I don't know, but I've never experienced a situation where I find a product I REALLY WANT, and I'm told I can't buy it. Shouldn't have it on the shelf if it's not for sale!! read more

I like this Target--but it's not the best one I've ever been to. I always find myself waiting a little too long in the check-out line, and the store could definitely benefit from a few floaters helping customers with their bags. Also, their produce is hit or miss with mid-ripeness. I either find myself stuck with green bananas or nearly too ripe to buy. However, all the employees I've encountered are very polite and helpful, and there is a definite variety of foods, particularly coffees and cereals. read more

I'm always very hesitant to leave a poor review, but this Target is a nightmare management-wise. I tried to call for two days straight to get a cake made. Eventually I got someone to answer the main line (bakery would never ever pick up) and she had to walk to the bakery to see if anyone was even working there. Another time, whomever I talked to didn't even know the bakery hours. Every time I go in (which is very often) there are approximately 2 checkouts open and (no exaggeration) five employees (likely at least one of them a manager) standing around talking the entire length of my shopping trip. read more

This is my neighborhood Target. I do almost all of my grocery shopping here. It is relatively easy to get in and out of and there is ample parking. The store is clean and well stocked. There is also a Starbucks inside. But what really sets this Target apart is the staff. They are super friendly and extra helpful. read more
