I was in an accident on 5/11/25, I notified this title max office location immediately. They informed me nothing could be done to my acct & that we'd need to wait for insurance to resolve things, all the while these people were continually charging my account late fees over the course of days. MY JEEP WAS TOTALLED. They also refused to email me any documents on the process, stating they don't even use email. I called them again just a week ago to update them on the process and they let me know they were just waiting on the insurance companies documents- come to find out today, they've now sent me to collections, no warning, no calls, no emails. I called collections & they stated none of this situation mattered and they will continue charging me accrued interested until my insurance payout is final, this would be my insurance payout that is now basically been eaten away because Title Max has chosen to abuse their customer's trust. Even Geico stated they should've stopped charging me on the day of notification. Just ask yourself, if you or a family member where in an accident that totaled your precious car of 10 yrs (mind you I just put 8K into in the last year) is this how you'd want to risk being treated? I sooner would've borrowed money from a bookie....

Speedy will skim off the top of your new loan in order to pay off the old loan. SMH. Then the NEW loan's due date will be sooner than the old loan's due date. So, you will have to make 2 payments in the same month. Literally, I made a payment on the 11th and will now have to make one again on the 25th. This burns me up. I just wasted an hour of my life at Speedy Cash. I cannot believe this situation even occurred. I had an outstanding balance of about $1K from a previous income-based loan from Speedy. And, as life would have it, I needed another one. While on site, I mentioned that I had no money in the bank and really needed all the funds I could get. After the application process was completed, I was informed that I qualified--again--for $1K; but since I owed them $1K, Speedy Cash used this 2nd loan to pay off the 1st loan. I literally walked out with only documents in hand---NO CASH! They suggested I return tomorrow with my auto title in order to get an auto title loan. I don't even have enough money in the bank in order to get my out-of-state title transferred to Arizona. I could have gone to Title Max Auto Loans in order to get an income-based loan had Speedy told me that any new loan funds would be used to pay off my old loan. How so? Title Max was also open while I was at Speedy Cash; but, unfortunately, had closed by the time I left Speedy Cash. I will now have to borrow money from a friend in order to get my title transferred to Arizona tomorrow morning at the DMV. After I do this, I will take my business elsewhere. Then, when I tried to find out where the car was to reclaim my stuff from inside it, I didn't hear anything... Finally got something from them like last week or so saying I still owed half of my loan because the car didn't sell for the total amount of the loan... They have effectively made me unemployed, homeless and carless while dealing with my own personal stuff in the span of 3 months.
