Some perks about this type of flooring: (1) The stairs have a great no-slip texture. (2) It looks much better than a plain epoxy or paint finish and easily as nice as the carpet we had previously. (3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) It's easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesn't show dust/dirt easily. After having my rooms emptied, they changed the installation date by over a week. Now 4 months later I need a small repair the size of a quarter but I have to have a new carpet laid? Did you notice they only allow positive reviews on their website? I've also asked for a manager twice now and received the same brain dead customer service rep. The salesman was nice on person, but when the installation was delayed, and now for this, he's been a real jerk via texts. Look elsewhere to be treated right and have the company actually provide customer service.

We started a bathroom remodel and worked with Lauren Pagel at Macco's in late March, 2026. We…read moreexplained to Lauren the tile floor design pattern we wanted and also included in-floor heat. She agreed with us on the design. Around April 15, Macco's had installed the wrong tile floor design. We asked how this happened, installing the wrong floor pattern. Lauren explained she gave the installers the wrong information. They offered us a discount for their mistake, however we wanted the floor pattern that we agreed to. Two months later, on June 23, Macco's came back to our house to install the correct floor pattern. The in-floor heat was not working correctly. Macco's came back on August 6 with two tile service people. They told us the electrical cable from the thermostat to the in-floor heat sensors needed to be replaced by an electrician. On Tuesday, August 18 an electrician came and installed the wire. This project took approximately 5 months to complete instead of the 6 weeks we were told at the beginning of the project. During this prolonged tile floor installation and repair, we had to turn away several renters for our property, resulting in a loss of income for us. We asked Macco's for a discount to their admitted error, however they would not give us one, even though it was their error. We have future flooring projects and will definitely not use Macco's again due to their errors and poor business practices of customer service. If you are in need of new flooring, stay away from Macco's to avoid the nightmare we experienced. We will be using their competition for future flooring needs.
