It wasn't. rescheduled our appointment for February 14 when carpet actually arrived. The installer cancelled our appointment as he couldn't come. Rescheduled for February 17, installer called again to cancel as his son, on his crew never got out of bed. We called and received a refund today. In the meantime we have had our carpet ripped up for weeks and are forced to walk around on plywood and our furniture all over the place. Very bad experience, we will never be back.

Bought two boxes, but unfortunately my wife went in a different direction with the room, and these tiles just wouldn't work and ended up having to return them. In watching them work, you could feel that they were treating your floor like it was their own. In the beginning, I was hesitant whether or not to have my floor refinished. We started a bathroom remodel and worked with Lauren Pagel at Macco's in late March, 2026. We…read moreexplained to Lauren the tile floor design pattern we wanted and also included in-floor heat. She agreed with us on the design. Around April 15, Macco's had installed the wrong tile floor design. We asked how this happened, installing the wrong floor pattern. Lauren explained she gave the installers the wrong information. They offered us a discount for their mistake, however we wanted the floor pattern that we agreed to. Two months later, on June 23, Macco's came back to our house to install the correct floor pattern. The in-floor heat was not working correctly. Macco's came back on August 6 with two tile service people. They told us the electrical cable from the thermostat to the in-floor heat sensors needed to be replaced by an electrician. On Tuesday, August 18 an electrician came and installed the wire. This project took approximately 5 months to complete instead of the 6 weeks we were told at the beginning of the project. During this prolonged tile floor installation and repair, we had to turn away several renters for our property, resulting in a loss of income for us. We asked Macco's for a discount to their admitted error, however they would not give us one, even though it was their error. We have future flooring projects and will definitely not use Macco's again due to their errors and poor business practices of customer service. If you are in need of new flooring, stay away from Macco's to avoid the nightmare we experienced. We will be using their competition for future flooring needs.

Our deep desire was to replace the old carpet/laminate/etc. with real hardwood. We wanted a classic look. We contacted Mr. Sandman (Josh) based on a recommendation and were not disappointed! The recommendation to call Josh came from a flooring outlet shop in town (UFO Flooring on Velp). When one professional confidently recommends another - that's usually a good sign. From the start, Josh was great to work with. He met us at our home and took the time to walk through it, understand what we were looking for, and answer all the questions we had. He explained the pros/cons of different materials, talked about installation methods, and offered suggestions to help us stay within our budget. He really cared that we were happy not just with the finished product, but also with the experience of working together. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the little things, his attention to detail and the fact that he takes such pride in his work. I could stop now and it would still be a good review. However, the thing that really put Josh over the top was his customer service. When picking a contractor, sometimes you're lucky just to get someone who does good work OR is friendly to work with - Josh exceled in both areas. He's one of the nicest and friendliest guys you'll ever meet. The best way I can describe it is - if you're throwing a neighborhood BBQ - you're absolutely inviting Josh to stop by! He and his crew did great work, and I'm sure it will last a long time. But when the day finally comes to have it refinished - there's no one else we would call!

Amount taken was 1/2 the cost. before he got the check he was answering his phone and email, after his phone was disconnected and he will not respond to emails. I rate him less than minus 100 as he ripped off an elder. if anyone knows where he is please let me know ASAP, as we need address to take him back to small claims court.
