My instructor Khoury Porter not only taught me essential techniques but he also gave me a full comprehensive method to consciously be aware of my surroundings at all times. It's a full mind body and spirit work out whether you're just doing kick boxing Muay Thai or Jiu-Jitsu. The staff is wonderful. You become family. They have a variety of services available for all ages. This is hands down - the best workout you can come across in the Lower Hudson Valley area! They helped me to tone up and build core and upper body strength that I never had before. This establishment is good for all ages. He allows bullying from the hasidic jews to go unchecked. We have observed several of the jewish children mistreat children of other races and Sensei issued no corrections and allowed it to happen. Not a welcoming environment at all and very dissatisfied with the clear favoritism being shown. It's almost as if sensei is scared of saying something to the parents of the jewish kids.

The program promotes fitness, confidence and respect of oneself and others in a positive and fun learning environment and my son has thrived with each successive session. I have been so impressed with not only the Little Ninja program (which, as I mentioned, goes beyond karate and teaches respect of one's parents, healthy eating and exercise habits, discipline, etc.), but also with Sensei Yuri who has the unique ability to pull the best qualities out of each student. His way of teaching is one that is fun, but treats each student regardless of age as one who must give and must receive respect. While we are not Jewish/Orthodox, it is heartening to me that a student who is more comfortable with a male or female only teacher/class can choose that, or they can choose a unisex option depending on their comfort level, religious requirements, etc. There's lots of parking and the hours are great, with late hours and weekend hours for people who work/have school.
