We had never been on a cruise before, and I reached out to Mallory to help us set up booking. She not only helped us get the best prices, she helped with cabin placements, we got credit on our rooms, she got us the most amazing seats for our evening meals. I didn't even know about the evening meals, so we would have totally missed out on that added perk. She also helped me with the early check in to get on the boat the day of, I didn't know about that either. So not only did we get to get on the boat in the first group, we got to get on the boat period!! I didn't know we had to do that either, so tragically, the day of we might have missed that!! We had to print stuff off to have on hand and I didn't know that. Anyway, Mallory is kind and helpful and she truly wants you to have the best experience possible, and will work her butt off to make that happen! Don't wait, call Mallory today!!!!

There are plenty of quality travel agencies in the world. This is not one of them…read more Avoid like the plague. There are a myriad of reasons I do not recommend this group starting with the fact they helped book a family vacation that sent us (at their recommendation) to a resort that was much more suitable for drunk singles than families with kids in spite of the fact they new exactly what we were looking for and the mix of people traveling. It was clear that every aspect of their planning was focused on what generated the most commissions and spiffs, not what was best for our family. To top it all off, the charter flight to Cancun that they practically insisted we fly on was delayed by two hours coming back to Kansas City, which caused us to miss all of our flights from there (for family that had to fly other places like us). Because we were on a charter flight they had no responsibility for all of our connections, which they made abundantly clear to us (via text message). This was their chance to jump in and prove their worth but they did the exact opposite. Our agent (Leslie) told us that while the online flight status showed we'd miss our flights, she had gotten "direct confirmation" that the flights would be delayed and we'd make them. When we landed in Kansas City and it turned out she was totally wrong, it became clear she had done nothing during our 3 hour flight to check on status or look for alternatives. If she had done this she could have booked us on two different flights out but by the time we landed we were within the booking window where this could not be done. This mistake cost us over $1,500 in new ticket purchases since our prior tickets were non-refundable and the airline they were on (Southwest) did not have any flights with availability for three days. I have never had to deal with an organization so focused on their own best interests and so unconcerned about helping their clients. It is clear that the minute we booked travel and they got their commission they felt their job was done, when the reality is they should have been engaged to ensure things went smoothly throughout our trip. I cannot figure out how they stay in business unless they have a lot of friends who feel guilty using alternative travel planners.

We were exhibitors and we had 8 people, which is just enough to need a vehicle larger than a minivan or Chevy Suburban. After 5-6 hours on the road, you really need some room to stretch, so we made the wise decision to rent a 12 passenger van - best decision of the week! The van was new, clean and very comfortable. And there was more than enough space for luggage and equipment in the back and under seats. We did make one bad decision - we chose to use our own open trailer to haul our exhibit displays. Imagine this - open trailer with sensitive materials, wrapped with tarps, for 8 hours in the road with snow, rain, wind, etc. In short, not a good thing! It was a hassle and a mess. We should have rented an enclosed trailer - and guess who rents enclosed trailers??? CITY RENT A TRUCK! We will do that next time. We really appreciate Jeff and all his staff for making renting vehicles fast, easy and enjoyable. They now have a location up north near the airport, so it is totally convenient as well. A class act and a credit to the Kansas City community.

We hired a hummer limo for the wedding party and an executive coach bus for our out-of-town guests. We came to Showtime with a particularly challenging wedding timeline. Separate ceremony and reception venues, 40 minutes apart, with over half of guests coming in from out-of-town. During the busiest wedding month of the year, October. Our wedding ceremony was at Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel & our wedding reception was at The Guild in downtown KC. The limo went from the hotel to the salon to the ceremony to reception. The bus went from the hotel to the ceremony to reception. After the reception, guests were on their own and it worked out fine. Our only minor complaint was the AC wasn't working on either the limo or the bus. Since it was October, it was bearable & we were able to work out a partial refund with Showtime. Overall, Showtime was professional with excellent customer service. We would hire them again.
