The customer service representatives lie, give you run around information, and are truly unhelpful. Long story short, my package IS delayed due to a mechanical failure. I was first told the truck broke down in route. Then I was told that the mechanical failure was because of some machinery in the Seattle facility. Somebody is lying, but ok. That's not the part I'm concerned with. Since they claim they don't deliver on the weekends, I offered to pick up the damn package myself because I needed the contents on a specific day! I ordered in more than enough time to get it that day. Again, the customer service agent tries to lie! The one yesterday placed blame on the Seattle facility saying that they don't have a phone number to be reached. THEN one says, "I can call them for you. Hold on." Places me on hold for less than a minute, then comes back to say nobody answered. Oh.. then she says, "We don't deliver on Saturdays." Yes you do! I live close enough to the Seattle facility to see trucks making movement all the time. All of the lies are unnecessary. I just wanted to pick up my package in a timely manner and have my items for this event. Thanks OnTrac for f*cking that up! Great job.

The package contains a gift, so I had it shipped to my office, which I have done numerous times. They have tried to deliver the package 10 times from 6:00-8:00, which is well after business hours. One would think that after that many failed deliveries you would adjust the time. I tried to change the delivery address but they said "they can't" So in the meantime I have $200 in shoes out in the back of someone's car in an order that neither the shipper nor the sender will let me cancel or return. I have started asking if businesses use OnTrac before I order and if they do, I go somewhere else to order. Cheaper isn't always better.... Sometimes it's just cheap. :-(

Five stars for the FedEx employee who helped me out and zero stars for the FedEx driver…read more I ordered a package that I was eager to receive before Thanksgiving having paid extra shipping to do so. I had tracked it meticulously having even signed up for text updates. Sure, I wasn't excited about FedEx due to issues in the past but I thought this would be different. It was and was not. Where it was the same was I received a "could not deliver" notification stating that no one was home. No one had come to the door. No one called. I didn't even see a truck come up. I live in a place that has a locker system where any delivery company can come and drop off packages at any time of day. Nope, didn't happen! The driver just didn't even try. So, I went to the FedEx center at 5 PM when I was told the package would be ready for pickup. I wasn't thrilled because one of the reasons I had this shipped was because it is heavy. Where my typical experience diverged was at the shipping center. The employee who greeted me went to look for my package in the back. Another employee came out twice to ask if I needed help as I waited. The first came out for a moment to tell me that the driver didn't do what they were suppose to do (not surprised!) and then went back to look for the package. After what felt like forever but was probably ten minutes the lady came back out with my package on the cart and then helped me to my car. Between the two of us we wrestled the package into my car and I was on my way. She was great! Friendly, personable, and very helpful but I couldn't help but think of the driver had just done his or her job and delivered the package this poor FedEx lady wouldn't have to be outside trying to get a heavy, large box in my car. I know we don't often get a choice of how our packages are shipped but I would love it if FedEx as a whole improved.

Fleetfoot is the preferred messenger service of my ex-employer and they really do a great job. The…read moredudes weren't always super friendly and often smelled pretty bad, but they were always on time and never (in my recollection) screwed up a delivery. A couple times I had questions about charges on the invoice and the accounting guy was quick to sort things out. The phone dispatchers are way nicer than, say, the average person you talk to when calling a cab. Fleetfoot serves the greater Seattle area by bike, car and truck. Many delivery options available including same day, 2 hour, and Rush. Reasonable charges; you can set up an account or make it a one time deal; they accept cash, card, or check. I think they can actually deliver anywhere in the state, just not in one hour! Orders can be placed ahead of time or as needed. They will deliver just about anything (including sealed alcoholic beverages) except meals, hazardous/illegal materials, precious gems and framed artwork. Regular hours of operation are M - F 7:30am - 5:30pm but after hours deliveries can be arranged. Some of my fondest memories of having an office job are from watching the punk bike messengers and suit - clad businessmen eyeing each other warily in the elevator . Good times. These guys are probably more honest than your average businessman, so for all your courier needs I highly recommend Fleetfoot.
