Called me 5 days later asking if the envelope was still ready to be picked up. Whatever they did to outsource and save money has been a disaster. But they did charge my card. Bad bad bad

Fleetfoot is the preferred messenger service of my ex-employer and they really do a great job. The…read moredudes weren't always super friendly and often smelled pretty bad, but they were always on time and never (in my recollection) screwed up a delivery. A couple times I had questions about charges on the invoice and the accounting guy was quick to sort things out. The phone dispatchers are way nicer than, say, the average person you talk to when calling a cab. Fleetfoot serves the greater Seattle area by bike, car and truck. Many delivery options available including same day, 2 hour, and Rush. Reasonable charges; you can set up an account or make it a one time deal; they accept cash, card, or check. I think they can actually deliver anywhere in the state, just not in one hour! Orders can be placed ahead of time or as needed. They will deliver just about anything (including sealed alcoholic beverages) except meals, hazardous/illegal materials, precious gems and framed artwork. Regular hours of operation are M - F 7:30am - 5:30pm but after hours deliveries can be arranged. Some of my fondest memories of having an office job are from watching the punk bike messengers and suit - clad businessmen eyeing each other warily in the elevator . Good times. These guys are probably more honest than your average businessman, so for all your courier needs I highly recommend Fleetfoot.

First off, their website has "sample rates" which put deliveries within Seattle in the $6-8 range, depending on time-frame. My 2 hour delivery was quoted at $26. Alright, whatever... I'm leery, but this thing has to get over there and I'm sure as heck not going down there mid-day again. I phoned in a few minutes before noon and my order went in right at noon. 2 hour *delivery*, they said. As in, my item would be DELIVERED by 2 pm. At 1:49 pm, I phone the service again to find out where their guy is. They say he's downstairs trying to figure out how to get in. Seeing as how I'm in a secured warehouse, I left explicit instructions for them to phone me when their courier arrives and I'll come down. I run down and see the guy on a radio, so I assume that's him. He walks up and takes my envelope and says "Thank you" as he's walking off. No identification of who he is or that he is actually the courier. No receipt for pick-up. Just *poof*, disappears. If he actually makes it there before they close at 4, I'll be completely stunned. He was definitely not on a bike, so I don't know how the hell he thinks he's getting around the market in under 5 minutes, let alone the fact that it's still several miles from my pick-up location. Absolutely ridiculous.

They were supposed to pick up a very sensitive package in Issaquah on Tuesday morning at 9:00. The person who they were picking up from called me at 11:00 Tuesday morning to tell me they hadn't shown up yet. I called them to see where they were and they said, "Oh, sorry, we're just running behind this morning." Running behind?? If someone orders a time sensitive pick up, shouldn't you inform your customer if you're running behind? I rescheduled a pick up for the following morning at 10:30, and I told them they had to be there AT 10:30. They told me no problem. I get a voicemail from one of their drivers at 11:30 saying they keep knocking but nobody is home. I called back their dispatch and asked why they were there at 11:30 and not 10:30, and they said "Oh no, they were there at 10:30, they just dispatched back to us at 11:30 to let us know the person wasn't there." Even if that was true (which it wasn't, it was a complete lie because the person who they were picking up from said they had a pick-up notice on their front door saying the driver was there at 11:30, not 10:30), why would you wait an hour to let your client know?? They finally showed up and picked up the package this morning, after rescheduling AGAIN, but at this point my managers are angry and I'm the one getting reemed. Clearly this company is extremely unprofessional and doesn't care about servicing their customers in a timely manner. DO NOT USE.
