We really enjoyed our experience with John and Always Hauling. Everything was just so easy. We told them exactly what we needed removed, a large rusty gas grill, and our location. The price we were quoted was under $100 so very affordable for our budget. Always Hauling was not only very reasonably priced, but they were so timely and efficient. They came to our home within 48 hours of our request, it could have been even sooner if our elevator didn't need to be repaired. The arrived on time and the whole thing was done in 10 minutes. They were so nice and friendly too and a pleasure to work with start to finish. Finally the price they quoted was the price we paid. They certainly over cent and more. We will certainly call John again and ask for his services as well as refer them to anyone who needs a junk removal service. read more

Needed our place cleaned out! Called "Always Hauling" and John answered my call promptly, was able to set up an appointment a few days after. John and his partner were professional and arrived at the agreed upon time. John was prompt of returning texts and confirming appointment. I was quoted a price for 2 loads but it actually took 3 loads but was charged the agreed upon price of 2 loads!! They were great and provided the service of hauling all our stuff! Would definitely recommend!! read more

These guys were super fast in responding, and came out same day and quoted over email. Easy and in my price range

Called and got a real person who answered and was able to arrange a pickup in a day! Very nice, quick and efficient!

I contacted John for a quote via Yelp and he responded within minutes. I needed a few things (including a bbq grill) removed from my deck, and we were able to negotiate a rate. All communication was done via Yelp message, and they just showed up this morning to haul everything away. Easy to work with, super friendly, and they kept my carpet clean! I loved that they laid down cardboard so the grill wouldn't leave any dirt. Would highly recommend for quick and awesome service! read more

I would never recommend this service to get a job done efficiently and quickly. To make a long story short, he showed up and quoted me a number, give or take a little bit but not by much. The day he came for service, he was late and doubled the estimate even though the condition and items needing removal were the same. The worst part about this is that I hired this service for my Real Estate buyers who had just closed on the home, and after I introduced them I left to go meet with another client, which I told him I was going to do. I asked him to invoice me and I would be paying it as soon as the work was finished. He agreed. I got out of my meeting two hours later to 13 missed calls and 16 texts from Joe that he wanted half of the payment before taking the first load to the dump. I unfortunately was in an area with minimal phone service and could not reach out to him as I was on my way to another appointment. What ended up happening was that he had me pay half of the money before he would finish the job, which I did. I told him I would complete payment when the job was done. He assured me he would finish same day. I did not hear back from him that day. I found out the next day that he showed up at my clients house with a truck load of garbage threatening to dump it in their driveway if the entire payment was not made. I made the payment and he finally finished the job, even though that was not the agreement. Communication and professionalism are non existent and if you want something done hassle free, don't call this guy up. read more

I have used John at Always Hauling about 4 times over the last 18 months. Each time, John has arrived on time and has provided a reasonable quote for doing the job. John was also good about picking up some junk at a couple different locations in the city on the same day. His quoted rate could vary depending on the size of the load, and also how much work it's gonna take to get the stuff into the truck. John helped me haul away a large pile of junk I had left on the street curb, and the cost was really reasonable since it was a quick job. If accessibility is an issue (e.g., a long walk or up a lot of stairs), then the price will increase but it's still reasonable. It all depends on the amount of labor required ... more labor = more $, but the nice thing about John is that he takes all that into consideration. That's why it's usually best to have John give you a quote in person, so he can gauge how much work it's gonna take to get the job done. The next time I need to haul away some junk I will definitely give John a ring. read more

Efficient, affordable, responsive, and swift. Stellar experience overall, clearing out my storage unit. Thanks guys!

After emailing John, I got an immediate response and even better, he was available the next day! John and his crew were crazy fast with removing a huge heap of tree trimmings in our back yard. The clean up of all debris was an added bonus! I will definitely be using these guys again soon! read more

Scheduled an appointment with them for 10-11am. 10:00 came around and I was told they would be late, and they asked if 12-1 would work. 1:00 comes around and no one is here. Fool me once, shame on you. I'm not going to let someone fool me a second time. I had lunch plans to go to, and told them that this isn't going to work out. At 1:30, they came by while I was out at lunch, and I had to reiterate that this wasn't going to happen. They showed their irresponsibility by being unable to keep a schedule and a general lack of effective communication. If it was this much trouble to get an initial appointment going, I can only imagine how much trouble it would be to get the actual work done. read more

John and Johnny were awesome. They promptly showed up and gave a competitive bid. After I had decided to go with them, they were able to come back the next day. Needed someone with a truck and a lift to haul a very heavy fireplace insert. John came recommended by another hauling company who did not have a lift for their truck and it worked out great. John showed up with a partner and the truck on time and was able to remove the very heavy insert no problem for a reasonable price. Very happy with how everything went. read more

These guys are great. Came the same day I called... a Sunday. Worked quickly and well. Even helped with some heavy work I was not able to do. Thanks. read more

I contacted always hauling through yelp's request a quote option(they gave the best price), and John got back to me through the messaging within an hour. He was able to schedule me in 2 days later and they cleaned out 1 car garage's worth of junk. There were some items that were in good condition and they made a pile of those to send to goodwill. The two people who came out, John and I forgot the other guy's name, were really friendly, fast, gave courteous service, and swept the garage when they were done. They accept credit cards too. I will certainly contact them next time I need my junk hauled away! Best price and Best service 10/10 read more

John was quick to respond; showed up right on time, worked fast, and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely use Always Hauling again. I highly recommend. read more

Used Always Hauling twice in the last few weeks. The first time I needed a BBQ hauled away within two days. John responded within 20 minutes with a quote and then was able to come by the next day and haul it away. They wouldn't even let me help because they didn't want me to get dirty lifting the BBQ. Two weeks later I scheduled with them to haul away an entire hillside of cut berry bushes. They worked for two hours with me on a very steep hill hauling the brush off the hillside and into their truck. These guys are really rock stars. Very prompt, professional, they give fair quotes and stick to them. I will use them for any future hauling needs and highly recommend them. read more

I cannot be more pleased (to say the least) with my experience with John Durant and his crew. This an amazing company owned by a wonderfully responsive and responsible gentleman. John worked me into his busy schedule, learning that I had an unexpected deadline that suddenly arose. His concern for ALL his clients to be taken care of in a timely manner as promised, was reassuring. He is probably one of the finest persons I ever met, and his work ethic is unbelievable. John & crew worked quickly & efficiently and hauled 2 full dump loads & also delivered loads of items to donation sites & scrap metal.to the appropriate location. We were so pleased that he is conscious of not filling the land fill with recyclable items. Many people I interviewed told me up front that they dump everything in one location. I will ALWAYS use John Durant for future jobs. He's a winner!! read more

Excellent service! I asked for quotes via yelp and John, the owner, came back with a reasonable offer. Communication with John about pickup was clear and timely. He was very professional. I would highly recommend them. read more

I contacted John because another website said he hauls away items to be donated. I thought I was going to donate the couch that didn't fit in my apartment door. I ended up sending it back to my old apartment. I also ended up finding a replacement couch and to my surprise John made time in his schedule to pick up the new couch before coming to my place to take the top large couch back to my old place. When the new Sleeper couch opened up on top of him he didn't complain. And I'm sure it hurt! He just took a breath, came up with a solution and moved on with poise. Just to give you an idea - the new couch was in Queen Anne, the top big couch in Northgate, and the old apartment was in West Seattle. He and his colleague did a wonderful job. His truck is very basic but he gets the job done on a fixed budget and with excellent care and attention. I sure hope I don't lose his card because I definitely want to call on him for future hauling!! read more

What a great team. John followed up with me a few weeks after I had dropped the ball and let some old messages lapsed. He was able to come with short notice and quickly loaded up some construction debris and hauled it away. Support local businesses and call them up! read more

I had a full mattress and box spring removed within 1 hour of calling them. Reasonable rates and prompt communication. Very satisfied with my experience! read more

I have booked John and his team on three separate times as we slowly clear out our backyard. He responds promptly, can be scheduled FAST, and arrives on time or follows up via text when he is running late. They work hard and quickly, stick to their quotes as much as possible (there is always some variation as they start demolishing and digging, but John always keeps me updated throughout the job if the haul starts to be larger/heavier than expected.) I am super thankful for these guys because I've tried to do a lot of other home projects this summer, and many other companies are so booked that they don't even bother to respond or show up! read more

Awesome service. The fridge in a tenant's died. I asked for a bid on Saturday and John responded within an hour with a super bid. John was there next day (a Sunday no less) on time and he quickly and efficiently removed the fridge. Definitely will work with them again. read more

no call, no show twice in 3 days. First for a quote, second time for actually hauling out the load of yard waste I have. Contacted and communicated via yelp. He was initially very prompt on replying. Not sure what happened. Clarification edit: first contact was via thumbtack for a quote. Second attempt was via yelp for a quote as well. read more

Quickest response of 6 companies on yelp. Price was lower than others and they came within an hour. Debit or Cash.

John was really prompt, helpful and affordable with his pricing. Great communication, so helpful with carrying all our random junk from all over our house and yard, and even picked up same-day on a Sunday! We'll definitely be calling again. Thank you, Always Hauling! read more

Amazingly fast service! I had a couple of old living room chairs, a broken exercise bike and a bunch of other junk to get rid of. I woke up Saturday morning and decided to do something about it. Called Always Hauling, they picked up right away and said they could be at my house in an hour. In fact they were early, just in time for me to get all the junk outside my house. They brought a big truck, grabbed all the stuff, swiped my credit card and were gone. Super fast service, very friendly, and convenient. read more
