We had some large items that we wanted to donate and some things that needed to go to the dump. I filled out online form outlining what we needed removed and quantities. I was able to schedule appointment with only a few days notice! Two gentleman showed up right on time. Made it look really easy to move these HUGE pieces! They were in and out in only 30 minutes or less. Very polite & professional. We will definitely use them again. Cost was very fair. read more

Very Professional ! Great service, good customer service ! Jake and his two colleagues were great with the moving of the furniture. Thanks guys!.. you made it so easy ! read more

Awesome service from the initial booking to removal of furniture. Constant text updates for arrival of crew. On time. They were very respectful and careful of other belongings when removing two large sofas. Not an easy job. Would thoroughly recommend them for any removal jobs. read more

I have yet to use their service but after my interaction with two of their employees while I was at the Factoria transfer station, I am adding them to my contacts! I was there to unload a broken dryer and wasn't sure where to unload it. After getting it out of my vehicle by myself, I noticed two men taking appliances to an area about 50 ft away. I asked if one of them could help me get the dryer over there and they jumped at the chance to help! They both took it over for me. What wonderful service without me even being a customer! It was definitely a refreshing experience in these difficult times! read more

I used Big haul to get some construction debris, they came to the site, immediately told me it would be more money than the quote/website, and I had to negotiate with them to get them to come finish the job(which they didn't do because they charged too little). They also ended up charging me more me more than their website claims, but the mis-communication on the initial job intake was the problem not the workers. Management did the best they could but didn't end up taking all my debris, probably wouldn't use them again because of their poor website, and job intake planning. read more

Big Haul Junk Removal - Pile of material that they left because it cost to much for them to remove. - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

The team was super efficient Filling an entire truck in less than a hour. Quoting process was simple and they clarified a couple items with us before they loaded since it would be an extra charge. Helped go through potentially hazardous items as well so that we didn't have to figure out what could go or not. Overall very satisfied with the quick process. Oh and booking was super easy and flexible as well! read more

I called and they had a cancellation the next day to remove an old hot tub. They confirmed the appointment, called a half hour before they arrived, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up the debris. They were great. I highly recommend them. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 9-11am on Saturday for Big Haul to pick up a few items that weren't worthy enough to make a move with me. They called me about 30 minutes prior to arrival and though parking in my residential area is difficult, they managed to find a spot. It took about 30 minutes for them to take away my items, including breaking down a alrge couch, and my total was within original estimate. They were professional and quick - would definitely use again! read more

I'm so happy with the service and professionalism! I contacted the business through Yelp messaging and was messaged back several times to get a rough estimate and contact information. Long story short: They came out to pick up one bedroom dresser within a few hours after the messaging. Couldn't be easier than that:) read more

This business failed to meet basic civic duties while on a jobsite in a shared community residence. Masks worn on the chin or below the nose today (Dec 18th 2020) in Ballard by a team of two white men, one husky and average height, one lean and tall. They were sullen and moving slowly. This company clearly has a lot of good infrastructure set up -- text confirmations, great website online. Their truck was clean, clearly branded, and parked in a courteous position based on local parking customs and regulations. But if they're willing to flaunt their health privileges (or health denialism) when out of sight of the resident they are serving, what else are they doing that is bad for our communities and the neighbors and neighborhoods they are serving? In what other ways are their teams not committed or not well-trained? Do they realize that their slothlike, scowling demeanor is broadcasting to all the neighbors and passersby what an hour of their time is worth? Businesses like this, your experience is highly dependent on the team you get assigned. I HOPE this team is a new one based on their recent expansion of service area, based on how many high reviews this business has on yelp. Big Haul, please encourage your teams to protect the health of the customers and neighbors they serve, and their own health. read more

Great crew! Big Haul Junk Removal was great from the start. 1) quick and professional responses to my request for junk removal 2) able to schedule during a time that worked for me! 3) cheapest price out of 4 companies I contacted 4) the guys who came to grab the junk (josh and Cody) were really friendly and quick. And - they will try to donate any items that are appropriate to donate. I would definitely use them again! read more

The crew that arrived to help us was great! They were quick, helped us figure out the best way to set items up for easy removal, and were very friendly. Customer service all they way through the experience was top notch. We do need to take one star off because scheduling was a bit challenging. The first scheduled pick up day ended up having to be rescheduled because the crew was really far behind (our window was 2pm - 4pm and it was almost 6pm by the time they were on the road to our location... by then we needed to leave due to other plans). The second scheduled pickup day was odd: the window was 8:30am to 10:30am, and we were told that we were the first pickup of the day. When I called to get an update from the crew on arrival time, I was told that they had just finished picking up the truck and getting set up for the day around 9:20am and that they would arrive in 50 minutes from that time. So... if it's not physically possible for the crew to even be in a truck and on the road until 9:30 (with a 40-50 minute drive to our place from there), why was our start time 8:30? They arrived around 10:15am and managed to get everything packed up just before 10:30, which was great! It just would have been nice for us to be able to sleep in a little bit if they knew for a fact ahead of time that there was no way they were going to arrive before 10am. Other than that, everything was fantastic and we'll definitely call them again! read more

Scheduled for 9-11am but only showed up at almost noon. Called twice to give unrealistic times (11am at first, followed by 11:30), forcing me to delay my own plans to wait for them. Not particularly apologetic about the lateness. Work once they were actually on site was efficient if pricey, which is what the 3 stars is for. read more

I had a great experience. Easy scheduling with good availability. They confirmed the appointment and texted when they were on the way. Fast and friendly pick up of our stuff and within minutes it was done. Price was reasonable too. Solid service that helped us in prep for our cross-country move. Thanks! read more

I used Big Haul to remove some stuff. The crew of two were on time and worked efficiently to remove the items in less than an hour. I had just over 1/2 a truck. I highly recommend them for junk removal. Their rates are good better than 1800GotJunk!!! read more

Very pleasant and professional people. Good prices to boot. 5 Stars in my book. As I was getting ready for a second day of house painting, I found myself with two large piles of junk (unwanted books, broken down kids furniture, old foam, babyproofing gear, etc.), enough for 3/8ths of a 12' load. I submitted my request around 3:50 AM and received a pleasant call and e-mail from Kristina at 8:00 AM. Two hours later (same morning!) Kristina and Jason show up and give me an estimate on the spot. It was the lowest estimate over the other junk removal services found on Yelp. They were able to take everything away and it was indeed ended up being 3/8 of their truck bed. The business is in my list of Go-To contractors along with my favorite plumber, painter and electrician. I'll certainly use them again after I sell my current residence. read more

I am moving out of state and had some donations, recycling, computer desk and a recliner to get rid of, having spinal fractures it was impossible for me to do it, three guys came and took it all in less than 15 minutes!! and it didn't break the bank. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great Job!! read more

I recently took on a major project of cleaning and organizing furniture and belongings in our home. I was looking for a company to efficiently move furniture within our home and to haul out old rugs and no-longer-needed furniture. This involved 6-7 rooms/spaces on multiple levels in our home and multiple pieces of furniture being moved to other locations in our home, including 3 beds, 4 desks, 1 antique pine cupboard, 1 antique hutch, 3 armoires, 1 sideboard, 3 chests of drawers, and the removal of 3 very large wool rugs. Big Haul did an exceptional job in an efficient manner with courtesy, respect, and a positive and friendly attitude, even though this was a tremendously difficult, extensive job. I would hire them again in a heartbeat to help our family move furniture and belongings, and will be recommending them to our family friends and coworkers in our community. They are an exceptional community resource and service at an affordable and fair price. Their old fashioned good manners, politeness, professionalism, good work ethic, respectfulness, and positive and friendly manner made this experience, which could have been stressful, a very positive one. I highly recommend this company to others in our community. read more

Friendly, helpful customer service and punctual, but they get dinged one star because the fee was rather high compared to their baseline pricing. On their web site, the minimum charge is indicated as $65, but to haul away one full-size mattress set and one small wooden desk they charged twice that amount. I went with Big Haul because of the good reviews and because they appeared to have more sensible pricing than the competitors, but what they charged ($136 w/tax) negates much of the value notion. Still, I recommend them due to the quality of their service. read more

I called Big Haul on Tuesday morning to pick up my old couch. They said they could pick it up that afternoon, but I opted to have them pick it up the following day. Since I was able to move the couch to the driveway on my own, they lowered the price for me and I did not even need to be home to for the pick-up! The price was great and the service was timely! I would definitely use them again! read more

Gave me the cheapest quote of several companies I'd contacted to remove an old couch, loveseat, and mattress. Quickly set up an appointment via email, and the crew of three showed up on time, carried the furniture out of the house, loaded it all up and were gone within 10 minutes. Very professional, affordable, and easily the company I'd just contact directly next time we need a load of junk hauled off. read more

Perfect 10. Had an appointment set, confirmation email, and estimate in under an hour, all thru email. Super easy. Guys were nice, on time (early actually), very careful, called to confirm and came in under the estimate. I got rid of some furniture, price and responsiveness were better than the other 4 places I contacted. Will use again. read more

Best price, nice guys, great service. Couldn't answer their 15 min-out-call, so office phoned to let me know that they had arrived at my house. read more

I looked at several "junk removal" companies before giving Big Haul a try. I sent an email inquiry at 10AM, got a response by 10:20AM, had an appointment by 10:45AM, the guys were here at 12:30PM, and my junk was gone by 12:45PM. Same day? I'll say!! They were polite, efficient, friendly, quick, and conscientious. Unlike some haulers who _say_ they recycle and donate but who really just dump it all in the back for disposal, Big Haul separates items for donation and recycling on the spot. This is a local company, and they were anywhere from 50%-75% cheaper than the bigger outfits. They hauled away a massive old-tube TV, three futon mattresses, a broke-down old chair, some old (but usable) DVD players, and a donatable exercise rowing apparatus. Even _with_ the (reasonable) $10 TV disposal fee, it was only $80. Estimates I got from the other guys started at around $200. These guys rock! read more

The "A" Team from Big Haul Junk Removal helped us today with a large sofa we needed to remove from our apartment. The team was quick efficient and friendly. They deserve five stars for sure! We are completely satisfied with our experience from our first contact with Big Haul's online scheduling to the final process of paying with our credit card - conveniently the team is able to take your card right on the spot after putting your stuff in their truck. I would use this service again! read more

I was thrilled when the same fantastic men came out for a second junk haul about a month ago. They were quick and super efficient and gave me some information about pricing for the next junk haul I need to schedule, which includes some yard debris. The guys are super helpful just in general and even pointed out a few things I was planning to toss that I actually wound up wanting to keep. read more

Big Haul Junk Removal - These guys were great! They even unassembled a 30+ year old weight set that had rusted bolts. I'd highly recommend them! - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

Upon searching for a cheap and affordable junk hauling company, i stumbled upon this local green company. Sure, I've seen shows like hbo's "Hoarders" and have seen the GOTJUNK folks around neighborhoods, but was aghast at their ridiculous prices. Instead I found these guys, Big Haul Junk Removal who definitely matched what I was really looking for. I called them with little notice around 8:15pm on a Sunday night expecting to get an answering machine. I had a roughly small load.100 sq feet of carpet and matting, some scrap tack wood and a nasty ugly bed frame with nasty ugly patterned sheets. Add a few flooring boxes folded up on this mound of crap living beside my beautiful couch. It was all but flattering and had to go. And go soon. The gentleman, who answered my call, booked me for the VERY NEXT DAY which was Monday around 1:30pm. I must say the price quote was $65 bucks as opposed to GOTJUNKS ridiculous $130-$150 prices Not only was the price right, the gentleman I spoke to was incredibly personable and experienced. I agreed to do this, and was ready to give my apartment a proper colonic. John (*or Jon) called me fifteen minutes before he was due to arrive. He was very fast and just overwhelmingly awesome with his fearlessness to get the job done. I had added some extra stuff for him to haul last minute, but fortunately he only added ten extra bucks. A total deal considering it was that nasty ugly bed frame I mentioned prior. I definitely liked the fact he was noninvasive and was in and out in about ten minutes tops, including the glass of water he consumed afterward. I asked him if Ten bucks was cool for his ten minutes of hauling and he brightened up and said "Yeah!" although it was followed up with a saddening note that people often don't tip movers. I did ask him what was wrong with humanity as moving is a service, and we all should know what TIPS are. It is an acronym meaning "To Insure Proper Service," AKA TIPS. Also what bastard doesn't tip people who haul nasty bed frames among other nasty stuff? Anyways, TIP your movers! I'm all about supporting the little small business guy as opposed to a gigantic corporation who pride themselves on "professionalism" and "teamwork." Oftentimes the littler guy is just as good, if not better at communicating and giving a more personable experience. Definitely will call these guys again when I need to cleanse my habitats. read more

Easy quote and schedule, Coty and Jason showed up on time and filled their truck. I had added some items since the quote and they gave me a fair final charge. All in all a great process made easy by a good team. read more

These guys were great. My estimate was way off but that was my fault as I didn't realize I had that much junk. They called 45 mins prior to arrival and went to work ASAP. It was a garage clean out so they made sure to open each box beforehand and double check with me that it was ok to toss. They even swept up afterwards. Highly recommended and way cheaper than 1800 got junk. These guys have bigger trucks, more manpower (I had 3 for my job), and less expensive. Service was impeccable. What more could a customer ask for?! read more

Preparing for a remodel and we realized we needed appliances hauled away with only a days notice. Team showed up on time, showed great care for our hardwood floors and removed fridge, stove and dishwasher. We had an old BBQ that they had room for too. Couldnt be happier! I got a quote from a few companies to haul away our old dishwasher and this one was the best. Definitely will be using their services again! read more

Once again, Jon and Christian did great work for us today. They are so efficient and customer friendly. GREAT WORK! GREAT GUYS!!

I called Big Haul on a Friday, and Jason and Nathan came by on Saturday. They called about 30 min before they were due to arrive. They did an awesome job collecting the junk I didn't want to take with me when I move to a new home. Jason and Nathan were very nice and polite, and worked quickly. I had an 8 foot sofa that couldn't go out my 1980 condo's front door, so they dropped it over the deck right into the back of their truck. I definitely recommend Big Haul to anyone who needs junk removed. I even recommended them on my Facebook page. read more

Phone estimate was low despite my accurate description of the load. On site estimate was raised to 150% of first bid. Too few people and the wrong sized truck contributed a final cost that was 300% of phone estimate. The company men were demeaning to women, too. Too bad these guys came recommended by a contractor friend. read more
