*Hard-working, Trustworthy, and Communicative*…read more We highly recommend BJ Drilling to all our friends who have wells. We have worked with BJ Drilling since 2021 and they are top-tier for anything well related. Our property and well are always throwing curveballs, but BJ Drilling is quick to respond to any issues we encounter. Zane has answered us mornings, nights, and weekends whenever we have an out of water emergency. We have a lot of livestock who need water, especially in the summer months; BJ Drilling has even delivered water to us at a time when we couldn't get water hauled. This company will not leave you hanging and they understand being without water in the desert is an emergency. Veronica in the office is great and very communicative. The technicians who service the well are trustworthy and are great at explaining the diagnostic process and always willing to show you what they are working on or troubleshooting. This is the team you want servicing your well; cannot recommend them enough.

The most recent service was the pump replacement for the well, which included adding new pipes. It turns out that the water went out late on June 18. The next day was the hottest day of the year (2025). Gabe and Davey knew our vegetable gardens were going to be lost if they did not get the water flowing that day. They worked their tails off in 114 degrees, dropping a new pump, adding the new pipes, and they got the water flowing by 4PM. Unbelievable effort! Much thanks to Gabe and Davey and to Mike for hiring those guys.

It also shows respect, and confidence in the quality of work that Mike's drilling does that othe companies are willing to put their own name and reputation on the line for referring them). Mike's drilling made it out to my house very quickly after I spoke with them (also impressive nive I live far away in rural Marana). The team that was sent got right to work and were able pull ove 650' of well equipment out of the ground in only a few hours (the last company I had out 9 years ago took, and bille me for, a full day just to pull the equipment). The team from Mike's drilling was very informative! They showed me some errors that were made when the last company did work on my well, and explain the entire process to me. They were extremely Pleasant, and we're not irritated that I was there asking questions. Unfortunately, due to logistical problems that were completely on my end, we were not able to put the new equipment in the ground that day. Once I had resolved the issues on my end, they came out bright and early the next day and installed the new equipment. It has been a few weeks since they came out, and everything is working wonderfully! They followed up with a phone call to make sure that everything was operating up to expectation. This is a wonderful company that I highly recommend to anybody in need of drilling or well Services! Thank you Mike's Drilling

Unfortunately, my most recent experience with his company was very different. This time, one of his employees came out to complete the inspection. I met him on-site and specifically asked that he explain his findings to my clients and review the report with them afterward. That never happened, no phone call, no follow-up. Two to three days passed and I still hadn't heard a word from the company. In real estate, we work under strict deadlines and rely heavily on vendors to provide timely, professional service. When I called to express my concerns, Don completely dismissed me. He took no responsibility for his employee's poor performance or lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no accountability. Thirty-six hours after the inspection I still didn't have the report, and when I asked about a discount for the delay, Don flat-out refused. When you charge $350-$400 for a well inspection, the job should be done right the first time. It's not complicated; professionalism, follow-through, and respect for clients' timelines should be the standard. Unfortunately, Don's response made it clear those values weren't a priority. Regardless of his 25 years of experience, I won't be using this company again. In a small town, reputation and work ethic matter and this experience was both disappointing and telling

So we signed up with them, they are out of Tucson but work up to Phoenix. They filled out the state application and submitted the permit, and then we waited for our turn. It took a year before they were able to drill for us. I was so excited they started on a Friday and we were going to check them out the next weekend, but they finished by Thursday. My future UPS driver saw them drill, we didnt. They had estimated it would be around 700ft, they were pretty close it was a few feet shorter.
