After speaking by phone with the owner, Tom Bombard, two technicians were sent out. They were polite and professional, identified the issue, and were at my home for approximately seven minutes. I was later billed $150. When I asked Tom about the charge, this was his response by text, unedited: "Minimum service call, sir. If you knew how much it cost me to send those two guys over there to look at that, you'd think I was out of my mind for even doing it. It's absolutely zero profit for me -- 150 bucks." For context, the two technicians were already in my neighborhood (Saddlebrooke). This was not an emergency, holiday, or after-hours call. If $150 is the minimum charge for a brief visit like this, I'm thankful the issue wasn't more serious. Sharing so others can make an informed decision. I paid the $150 today.
