I had a terrible or nonexistent customer service last Thursday at the Weston Road store. I made an online appointment 4 days before for Thursday 9 AM, I drop my car at 8:45 AM for alignment and wheel balancing, and I was told that I could pick it up by 11:30 AM so it should be ready.... I called at 11:10 AM and I was told that I still had 3 vehicles in front of me, but that I could pick up my car if I wish...WOW SO NICE THEY ALLOWED ME TO PICK UP MY CAR!!! I spoke with the manager but pretty much I was told that I was out of luck! That I wasted almost 3 hours!! Customer service is absolutely terrible the women who answered the phone was rude. My check engine light came on when I was in the area I wanted to see the code it was giving but the closest auto parts store was 3 miles away so I called to try and get it resolved locally. They wanted 118$ to do a diagnosis when the machine you plug in costs 59$ at autozone! They don't want you as a customer or your business they only want money. This location was available for me to drop my truck off at 7:00am. The services I required were a tire alignment and check up. I arrived at 11:34 am to get my truck and surprise...they hadn't even started. I know your saying 4.5 hrs is a long time for a professional company to do a job but you haven't been to this location. Besides the fact that the young gentleman with the twist dreads when trying to access my account submitted my information to apply for a tires plus credit card (which I already have), I still decided to give the business another shot. This time upon entry and explaining that's it's been 4.5 hrs I was greeted by the same young man with an attitude. I asked to speak to a manger and was told "he's going to tell you the same thing". Which when he arrived another guy gave me excuses about how workers don't come in till 9, which still gives 2.5 hrs to get the job completed. It is now 12:24 pm and I finally got my truck back...they recommended I get a new battery but after this experience I definitely won't have them service my truck anymore. Avoid this place at all costs unless you have time to waste with lackadaisical young employees with nasty attitudes who use profanity while having conversations at the desk. Why anyone would go here anymore I will never understand. Got there at 7:30 am and waited while on the clock with a work vehicle The m chanoc got my car at 11:15. The repair took under 10 minutes. Why make anyone wait 4 hours for work that you know takes 10 minutes? The only logical answer is that you don't want their business. That's how they run the shop. If they don't want your business they'll make you wait all day for simple repairs or hike your prices which has happened to me here before. I've lived in Weston in for 27 years. I've brought many different cars to this shop. I used to get ALL my service here. They regularly recommended unneeded work. They also regularly recommended work that was under warranty from the car mfr. I realize that as a business they have to make money. I stopped going here when I realized I was getting scammed. Today will be my last visit. Firestone in glades circle Weston has always been honest with me. They've also respected my time and have always honored my appointment and got me right in and right out. That's something you'll never experience at Tires Plus. I've been stuck there for hours waiting for simple repairs with an appointment many times. Find somewhere honest to do business. Frustrating. Simple oil change: tire rotation and alignment. The man who waited on me Tyler, told me at 1:15 that my car would be ready in 45 minutes . (Total 3.5 hrs) I got there a few minutes later Tyler said the car would be ready before 2. My car was not in the shop. I asked one mechanic Frasier about my car and he said it was already done and parked outside. Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing over here. Biggest problem is , my car pulls to the left now. Where it didn't before. I told the manager Lazaro but he offered no resolution. Always quick to sell you tires and services and appointments are kept mostly to time booked, but try and get your free tire rotation with a booked appointment, forget it, 'we are not a drop and collect service' is all you hear. I booked my 7am appointment, arrived at 6:30am...1st in line and got told sorry can't take you until 9am. So, what's the point in pre-booking a service days in advance. Very unhelpful front of house team members. A good 'Quality Customer Care Training Program' is a real must for this location. read more

I brought my 2014 Corolla in with acceleration issues but no dash lights on. After they looked over the car they said they can't find anything..and waived the Diagnostic fee. Don't bring your car here if you need anything having to do with breaks. They use after market breaks and not originals. I had to go back three times with a loud screeching noise after spending close to $1000 for just the front axle. They replaced them once, and then insisted it wasn't the job they did twice more. They then had the nerve to say it was the back axle and try to charge me $800 more for an additional job. Now I have to get them replaced anyway elsewhere because of the faulty job and I'm out of pocket $1000, plus whatever I am paying to get the whole job redone with originals. The service I requested was a tire change on a blown rim. I came by without an appointment to the Weston location and asked for a tire I brought in my trunk to be stripped of the old flat tire and a new one put on. The guy at the register never looked at me. He wasn't rude. Just not friendly. No smile. The location wasn't busy at all. He had been in the garage laughing and talking to the crew of workers. His smile went away when he approached and he was all business. Not a good start. Makes you feel uncomfortable. Like you did something wrong by being there. He told me it would be ready this afternoon because there were others in front of me. No problem. He called a guy to get the tire out of my trunk. No eye contact. No words exchanged. He took it in and I left. Ok. He did his job. No call. So I came back right before they closed and the tire was ready. They did a perfect job. I paid. No one smiled or said anything. No eye contact at register. The same guy placed the tire in the trunk of the car. No words at all. No eye contact. Horrible customer appreciation. Zero customer service skills. The job was done correctly. The price was one of the lowest around. Gave 4 out of 5 stars because they did the job, did it right and in the time promised. Just poor customer appreciation. Should have gotten a call that it was ready but I realized I wasn't going to get a call and just drove over. Felt like I was doing something wrong on both trips there that day as a result of the way I was treated but the job was done right. read more

Very busy place at times. I usually purchase my tire online then have them put it on but this time due to emergency had to buy directly from them. Decent price I guess. The wait is inconvenient though due to dead spot of Wi-Fi and poor connection. Had to wait over a hour at burger fi : looking goofy. I have been a loyal customer of Tires Plus for over 15 years. All of my cars have been serviced at Tires Plus in Weston, Florida (Store# 105317); however, since two of my children moved to the Orlando area, we have used the Tires Plus in Orlando near the UCF Campus, Longwood and Winter Park. Over the years, as I have received good service, reliable repairs, at a fair price, I have grown to trust Tire Plus. Unfortunately, that trust has been critically shattered with my latest experience. We purchased a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee on 1/20/22. Since I was not able to take a mechanic with me, I did the inspection and made the decision to purchase the vehicle. I made an appointment with Renel (one of the managers) at the Weston Tires Plus to perform a thorough inspection and to let me know what work was necessary to maintain the car's road worthiness as my daughter would be driving it to Orlando. Renel performed the inspection, indicated that the car was safe, and recommended $1,421.48 in repairs (Invoice #211265). I accepted his recommendations and moved forward with the repairs. Pretty much the next day, the starter failed - another $400 in repairs. The next day, the check engine light came on. Further inspection revealed white smoke coming from the tailpipe. This is indicative of a blown head gasket. When my daughter picked up the car, Evie, one of the managers told my daughter that the car was a "rust bucket" and that we should have never purchased the car. She mentioned that there were wires zip tied to the hood and showed her a list of fault codes from the car. She told my daughter that the car is not safe and to save her money as this car will definitely break down and would need to be replaced. Now, I have a car with significant issues and a lot of money spent on repairs that cannot be recovered. I have no confidence that the car can even make the 240 mile trip to Orlando safely or without a major breakdown. read more

Rarely, in South Florida, will you find a car-care place that's both friendly and reasonably priced. I found one that is both. I certainly can't speak for all Tire's Plus locations, but this one has got my 5 star vote! Pros: (1) Good First Impression: From my initial phone call to "Ramone"..... "How much would it cost me to do so-and-so...." ....to when I picked up my car and signed the receipt, their staff was friendly, knowledgable and quick. It only took 2 hours for 2 maintenance items to be completed, one of them major. (2) Fair Price: They didn't overcharge me like my (stuck up-overpriced-we-sell-luxury-cars-so-we-can-stick-it-to-you) dealer does , my price didn't mysteriously go up when I came back to pick up the car, and they didn't recommend work that didn't need to be done. (My stuck-up dealer was going to charge me almost twice as much for the same work.) (3) Communication: They called me when they had a question, and then they called again to tell me my car was ready. This is by far theeee absolute worse place I've ever been too. I don't write reviews ever, but when you look me in the eye and say that my tire needs a stud replacement.... One single stud... and it's going to be 295 dollars... I promptly left with my car feeling very uncomfortable that they even touched it after hearing that donkey quote. I changed the stud by myself with hand tools and a tire jack...it cost me 4 dollars and 50 cents and 1 hour of my time. This is my go-to shop for oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. Ask for Rayon for the best service. Good communicator, efficient, personable. Lazaro is the manager, also good. Oil changes always take a little longer than stated in my experience. I've been going to the store for 20 years. Buy the 3-year alignment plan for the best deal if you come to the shop often. Most visits are 4-star visits here with some variations. Shop could earn 5 stars with some waiting room improvements. They do have coffee and a TV if you have to wait which is very nice. But they need a little maintenance in the waiting area. Half the blinds track carriers are broken and the blinds are missing and a table is missing some laminate . Light fixture and ceiling need cleaning. But as long as the service is good and the employees are honest and accurate in their work I will continue to patronize this establishment read more

Let me start by saying that I am giving 1 star because I have to select something to give my opinion otherwise I will give them zero. Until today, I have been taking my vehicles for service to this location for years but I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to take their cars for service to Tires Plus. The last two times that I visited this location they do not provide an itemize paperwork to give you an estimate of the charges they impose you they give you a total and ask you to sign the electronic pad. Secondly, since they do not charge you for tire rotation they find any stupid excuse not to rotate the tires. They they rush me saying that they close at 5pm on Saturdays when their sites indicates that they close at 6pm but of course if wanted to replace my tires they will close later. read more

These guys suck.... I reserved my tires and appointment online. First issue I had was that they didn't have the tires I requested in stock. Second issue they recommended an alignment. So I gave in and let them do it. The retard at the front desk was carrying on about European cars having bad alignments right off the factory floor. My car handled fine even with a spare. Got the car back the alignment sucked, pulled to the right steering wheel was crooked. Also they seemed to have disregarded the factory specs for the air pressure settings on the tires setting them well over suggested psi. Another thing they burned up my cars infotainment/radio system. I didn't even bother to go back. so far I'm about $1600 in repairs at the dealership between a new radio and alignment. Thanks tires plus. read more

After a year of going to this place w routine maintenance and random issues they try charging me $40 for a simple oil change. Told them I never paid that much and they asked me for a coupon and then told them i never used a coupon there. Long story short they ended up not honoring a previous rate so I went to the good year near the corner of 84 and Weston and they charged me $20 for a simple oil change. Fine if you plan to just do oil change. But they make completely unnecessary recommendations to rip you off a couple hundred bucks here and there. I went for an oil change and they recommended for me to change both outer tie rod ends (costing almost $400). I skipped the recommendation and checked the tie rod ends with another mechanic I really trust (but is further away) and he 100% guaranteed me the tie rod ends don't need to be changed. My favorite auto repair shop. Even though I moved to a nearby city, I still go there for all my repairs or maintenance. The staff is very friendly, efficient and trustworthy. I often go there after I've shopped around for the best price and find they will beat the lowest price I got. They do tend to be busy, but they always accomodate. I had taken my Minivan to the Tires Plus on Pines Blvd and Dykes Rd and came to the conclusion that the store either didn't know what they were doing or they were willfully negligent. Since I have a lifetime warranty I then took the vehicle to the Weston, FL Store. There I was told that the alignment was out.
