Went to this place in Vero Beach to have the oil changed in my SUV. Made a 4pm appointment but my vehicle didn't go into the bay until 4:45pm. Finally it was completed at 5:30pm. It took 1.5 hrs for an oil change. Are you kidding me !!! Tire Plus strikes again. Being a gluten for punishment I returned the following day. Again made a 4:30pm appointment to replace a damaged tire. Arrived on time but my vehicle didn't go into the bay until 5:15pm. Finally at 6pm it took this place an 1.5 hrs later to replace the tire. There is no urgency to perform the work. I don't know if there a manager running the place. The mechanics leisurely take their time doing anything. I must say that this is the greatest experience that I've had in a long time especially with most businesses being understaffed. I went in to purchase 4 tires for my Silverado and Riane Laulicht, the sales associate, was very friendly and knowledgeable as she assisted me. She was very thorough in explaining the type of tires, the road hazard warranty and the free lifetime rotation of the tires. Came in for 2 tires 4/12. The gentleman Mike over the phone was very nice and in the store just as pleasant to my mother and I. He suggested 4 tires as they had wear and my mother agreed to replace them all. We believed we paid the balance and dropped off the car. FF about 5 hours later, I got a call the car was completed. We come in and are NOT greeted by Riane. Based on her attitude tires plus must be an awful place to work. I asked her for my keys as I prepaid, she told me "I think you need to pay" and went to the back to assist someone else. Turns out after spending almost a grand in hard earned money here, we still had a remaining balance of $6 in order to leave. We asked Riane what the balance was and she proceeded to tell us the full price and the amount we paid. Again, rude about it and didn't explain the balance. I told her that her attitude was awful and she replied with a quick, "What, you just want me to give you your keys and wish you on your day?".... Absolutely yes? We paid prior to service. She's smug and not helpful. Keep in mind, her manager watched this entire interaction and didn't say a dang thing. They do not care. We paid the balance and left. I got home to my DONUT tire THROWN in my trunk on top of all my personal belongings. Completely jacked up one of my kids favorite toys. This place didn't even have the decency to place my tire underneath the covering where it belongs. In my personal opinion. Got the good old bait and switch here. I attached a photo of the promotion. For $29.99 oil change. So I schedule with them. Take time out of my work day, get there and they try to charge me $106. I showed the coupon and she said it doesn't apply because my truck is using 0W-20. I can't find anything in their fine print on the ad about that. Regardless, $106 for an oil change is outrageous. Buyer beware, DO NOT trust their promos, they will not honor it. Our tire blew out on the highway four miles from Tires Plus and it was a really scary and chaotic experience. We called two other places to ask for help and no one could give us any guidance. When we called tires plus they connected us with an affordable tow service and when we got there everyone was extremely nice and helpful. When they realized we had our dog with us they moved our ticket up so we could be on our way faster, gave our pup water and let us wait in the AC with him while we waited. Every time I've been in Tires Plus it has been a negative experience. Even with an appointment, services take longer than they should. They did not honor my tire warranty even though I bought the tires there and had them rotated regularly per their instructions. I was told they don't honor warranties on my make of car - which is ridiculous and never stated when I bought the tires specifically for the warranty we discussed at the time of purchase. I've been told I need services that I absolutely do not need (an air filter for an ev car that doesn't have an air filter). I do not believe the staff is knowledgeable, and definitely think their customer service is horrible. read more

My Grandmother had a radiator hose blow and was near to this place so she pulled in. They looked at car and told her she needed 2 hoses, a thermostat and a thermostat housing. $770.00. I knew they were ripping her off so we brought it to another mechanic who replaced the lower hose and told us nothing else was wrong. Receiving that every so often warning to use my Tires Plus credit card or lose it, I found myself late on a Friday afternoon changing oil on my new 2017 Nissan Armada Platinum. 14,770 miles into the new vehicle - and getting ready to take a road trip next week - I thought it best to change oil and rotate tires. Besides, I had to use the credit card or lose it due to inactivity. Since moving to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale a couple of years ago, I've been to this particular Tires Plus several times. From an oil change to new tires and a rotation, I've always been happy. On this particular day, it was a 7 quart synthetic oil change and the usual servicing that comes with it. I called ahead and spoke with Chad. Apparently he is the manager. An appointment I inquired, or should I just drop in and take my chances? It was 4:45 on a Friday afternoon and Tires Plus closed at 7 p.m. Asking about price, I was told $59 and change, including rotation. Thinking this was a bit low, I asked - "Are you sure on price - this is a Nissan Armada?" I was told yes - that is what we have in the computer. Chad suggested dropping in and I did so, arriving at about 5:15. Jordan was my service advisor and he logged in my Armada. Intending to drop the vehicle and walk across the street to get my nails done and dinner, I joked about the price. Jordan advised that I was right and it was a bit higher due to the "extra oil." 2 quarts to be specific. Chad was standing right there tuned into the entire conversation. At that point, Chad walked over to the computer and adjusted the price. He said the error was his and that he would honor what I was told over the telephone. Price adjusted and I was out the door walking across busy State Road 60. After getting a manicure and a quick dinner at the Japanese place across the street, I walked back to Tires Plus just before the 7 p.m. closing time. I was advised that my job was almost done. I hung out in the waiting area tuned into CNN and played on my smartphone. Great service and professional staff with Chad and Jordan. Overall a decent price on the 6.9 quart Pennzoil synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Less expensive than other local shops and honorable that Chad honored the quoted price over the telephone. An added bonus was using my Tires Plus credit card, thus creating "activity" and not losing it for not using it. I'll start by saying I've been loyal to tires plus for the last three trucks I've owned for tires and service. I recently took my tundra to this location to get new rear brakes, rear transmission seal, and rear wheel bearings totaling over $2700. First I noticed as soon as I left that there was a rattle when driving. I brought it back and found the support bracket that holds the drive shaft up was not secured so the drive shaft was just hanging. Second, recently I noticed a rattling in the right rear brake when not under load. I took it to the local St. Cloud location and they said the rear right caliper bolt was missing! They said it was not torqued properly when installed when they replaced my calipers. This was quite alarming and wasn't what I expected with tires plus. I'd like to speak with someone in customer service to see how this dissatisfaction can be rectified as I've loved tires plus over the years and want to continue using them for my service needs. read more

They found a screw in the tire and fixed plugged it , as my wife was driving home the same light warning went in and so did the low oil warning . This is a brand new atlas with 5000 miles and never had an issue . My wife pulled in the driveway and it's leaking oil everywhere . How does this even happen? So, moved to Florida and took my car to the local Toyota dealership to get my last service under warranty before it expired. They told me my brakes needed replacing, I already knew this and gave me a good price. I didn't have it done but was going to go back until I got the bill for my service. They covered the oil but charged me $29 to replace an in cabin air filter that they charged me $29.85 for. Needless to say, I am not going to trust them to do my brakes. So I went online, saw the yelp ratings for Tires Plus and also got referrals from people in the condominium complex I moved into. Called them up and they said just bring it in, no appointment needed. I showed up about 7:30 the next morning and they got right on it. Gave me about the same price as the dealership. They had me out of the shop in about an hour and a half. They took me into the shop and explained to me what needed to be done. Said back breaks were fine so just needed the front. I did apply for their credit card and recieved 5% back as well as a $50.00 gift card. I got 6 months no interest which is a big help after all my moving expenses. They also have a family of squirrels living there that they feed nuts too. They even have names for them. The manager even feeds them by hand. They have a squirrel crossing sign up in the parking area. How can you not trust a squirrel lover. I look forward to them taking over my service needs and not have to deal with the dealership anymore. read more

I broke a brake line on my car last year 2020. I've done it before so I know it would cost around $200. I had the car towed at 4pm one day but did not get a call back on cost of repairs. The next day "I" called at 12 noon spoke to the Manager. She said the repairs would cost $2000. I asked how she got that figure she said it was the corporate policy to also repair all parts that had anything to do with the brake line. New brakes, drums, padding etc. I have this car for many many years and know all these items do not total no where near $2000. I called the tow company and had my care towed to another repair shop and got it fixed for $200. They hoped I would leave it there. It was old but had only 180,000 miles. I have been Tires plus customer for years at a different location. I have never felt screwed over until I came here. My brake light was on so I asked them to diagnose it while getting an oil change...and got an estimate for $800 for front rotors and back full brake kit. Something seemed fishy, just the way the technician talked to me about it and he couldn't explain what was truly going on, and eluded to the fact that the other location did a bad job doing my brake pads 1.5 years ago....So I had a family mechanic check my car over to get a second opinion since I didn't want to shell out the money unless I needed to. Family mechanic(who has kept us all safe and cared for our many cars for 20+ years) said brakes looked fine and tested perfect and did not need replacing at all. I feel so scammed and will never go back to this place. The technicians must need to sell services or have a quota or something. read more

I have to say, I found them very genuine. In town for a visit, and Mom needed to have her oil changed (this is the place she always goes), so we stopped by late one morning. During the course of getting her checked in, they reminded her that one of her belts was looking frayed, so she decides to have it replaced this time around. A few minutes later we were having lunch next door and in walks the guy from the front desk to find us, which I found very endearing. He apologized for the interruption, but wanted to share something related to the belt change before they proceeded. I'm generally skeptical of this kind of place, but am definitely recommending these guys. They were respectful to my (senior citizen-aged) Mom and never spoke down to her, that goes a long way in my book. She has all her work done there, from oil changes to tire rotations. A short time later, informed me tire was irreparable and replacement was $235. Since car is AWD should buy 2. Declined and limped home on the donut. Next day went to local (reputable) tire repair who repaired so called irreparable tire and remounted it for $10. Tires plus had claimed puncture was too big and there was sidewall damage. I was a Tires Plus customer at the Vero Beach Tires Plus for years, I always felt like Chad had my back and I also believed I had found a shop I could trust. I had thousands of dollars worth of work done to my Pontiac G6 and my Tahoe I was happy until my wife took the Tahoe in for an oil change before driving to Georgia, She called me in a panic the guys at tires plus told her that she needed almost $2000.00 worth of work or they said the Tahoe would never make it to Ga and back. I took the Tahoe to a local mechanic that was recommended by a close friend. I gave him the estimate from Tires Plus and asked him to check everything they said was wrong. NOT ONE THING ON THE LIST WAS REAL! NOTHING ON THEIR ESTIMATE NEEDED THE REPAIRS! THEY TRIED TO SCARE MY WIFE INTO PAYING FOR ALMOST TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK THAT DID NOT NEED TO BE DONE! He even said he would put it in writing if I wanted to do something about it. I chose not to do anything but the next time I had a flat and had to go there (bought my tires there too) to get it fixed for free. While I was there I told them not to try and upsell me or tell me anything else is wrong with my car. Unbelievably they come to tell me the tire could not be patched because the screw was too close to the sidewall, the screw was a good inch and a half towards the middle it was nowhere near the sidewall. At that point, I just lost it, I accused them of being thieves and cheats, I pulled out the paperwork they gave my wife and told them that it was all fake and I had a certified mechanic willing to put in writing, that he had checked everything on the quote and nothing, not one thing listed needed repairs. Some guy I did not know came to me and said he was a new manager or general manager, he tried to bond with me because we had both been sailors, he said this kind of thing won't happen again. I told him he was absolutely correct because they would never see another dollar from me. I asked him to give me something in writing that said they could not patch or plug my tire and why before I left. Suddenly they were able to patch the tire, amazing, isn't it? DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP THEY WILL SHAKE YOUR HAND LIKE A FRIEND WHILE STABBING YOU IN THE WALLET WITH THE OTHER HAND. Chad you should be ashamed to show your face in public in this town. Called days in advance for an appointment to have my tires rotated and balanced. I arrived an extra 30 min early and was told that it would be unlikely that I would be serviced before my 1:00pm appointment. That's okay At 1:00pm my truck was pulled into the service bay, great! BUT it sat there for the next hour without being touched by a mechanic. When I asked the young man behind the counter when my truck would be finished, he looked at me and said when they finish! You got the next available mechanic! So exactly why did I make an appointment? So you could schedule your day? What about me? What about my day? I have to reschedule my afternoon because you can't manage your business!! To bad I can't give you less than 1 After this review I found that when they performed the rotate and balance that they neglected to change the tire pressures or the TPM (tire pressure monitor) so I drove well over a thousand miles towing a RV with my rear tires at 60psi and my front tires at 75psi. read more
