Not an emergency, but since I was here and they were 100 bucks cheaper than back in Tx, I schedule to have it done. While on a cruise out of Ft Lauderdale, they ordered the hitch and we arranged to have it done today. ( Thursday). Unfortunately the hitch they received was for a 2020, not a 2021. That's NOT why I'm writing this review. While waiting to have the hitch installed I witnessed EXTRAORDINARY Customer Service. They ( Zac & another guy) were treating folks like Family. A lady came in all flustered because while getting gas she realized she had a flat tire. As it turns out she had corrosion between the tire bead and rim. They buffed it out and had her on her way in 20 minutes-- ready for this !!!! 20 bucks. This lady was SO thankful ! I was so impressed. They could have easily taken advantage and charged her a lot more. I witnessed 2 other customers needing repairs being quoted prices well below what they'd pay in Austin Tx. I was like , does this place know the pandemic caused prices to increase by at least 50%. Stop here FIRST for your next vehicle repair and start developing a LONG TERM relationship. Walking past my tire I see a big ole screw jutting out and the air pressure is low according to me sensor - wonderful. Having had some negative experiences with the local tire shops who all want to sell you a new tire instead of a relatively cheap repair, I popped online for a search to see what the alternatives were and Perry Mobile Tire Service popped up. All the reviews looked promising so I gave them a call - James answered, we had a quick chat and he said he would be by in about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later that truck pulled up and we had a good conversation as he proceeded to repair my tire while the car was in my driveway- what more could you ask for? Price was what he quoted over the phone and James was just a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended for all your tire needs- he does more than repairs so keep him in mind.

I am a former mechanic and know how to correctly repair a vehicle. I am not local to Vero so they have been taking care of my 84 year old mothers repair needs for a couple of years now. She calls me with her estimates and questions. On many occasions i have on my visits to her confirmed the need for the recommended repairs and they have been spot on and never seem to try to include unnecessary add ons. She has been to other shops before she found this one and they would always try to add on easy money scam repairs that i would have to advise against. That doesnt happen here. Out of that total, $99 was a separate diagnostic fee, which they insisted on charging even though I approved the repair and had it fixed on the spot. I've been to many shops before, and in my experience, diagnostic fees are often waived or included when the customer proceeds with the repair. That was not the case here. The verbal quote already sounded high, but I was under time pressure since I needed the car for a trip later that afternoon and didn't have time to get another estimate. I accepted the quote, but after seeing the final bill, I strongly feel the price was unfair for the amount of work done. Even without the diagnostic fee, the repair cost alone was higher than what other shops typically charge for the same job. Dealing with the store manager, Rhett, was also frustrating. He was difficult to work with and repeatedly argued that charging a separate diagnostic fee on top of the repair was "fair," despite my concerns.
