I like this shop. They are very good and understanding. However, today I had 7:30am appointment and when I arrived they said that the machine needed for the was not working and that it was gonna get fixed later during the day. Stuff happen and I am ok with that. What bothered me is that I wasted my time driving 20 min to this shop and I did not got a courtesy text or phone call or email about the situation. Now I have to waste my time driving home w/o my car being fixed and then come back here again next week. This the reason for the one star today. read more

Nice people but at what cost? They replaced my starter, but upon starting my car I noticed something was immediately wrong. My car was making a weird noise and after I asked them about it they tried to assure me that my car was just "more powerful now." I got a second opinion and my worries were true. I was given a faulty starter and I have to get my car repaired once more. However, I will not be returning here. Had my brakes/rotors done in August 2024 and paid over $400 only to get told yesterday by certified mechanics at a dealership that they don't look like they had been changed at all and my front brakes was nonexistent. Went back to tires plus because there is a lifetime warranty on the parts and to show that my brakes that they repaired were completely gone on the front of my vehicle. I was told by staff that they would replace the pads but i would have to pay an additional $321 dollars to have my rotors resurfaced!!! Are you kidding me??? I was told the labor warranty only covers 12000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first. I will never in my life take my car back to be serviced with the nasty attitudes that was given by their manager Ian and their staff. read more

Took my car to replace the two front tires and an oil change. After leaving the shop and only a few minutes driving, the dashboard lights all came on. Took it back and they were closing. I was told to come back the next day anytime between 7:00 am & 7:00 pm. Showed up around 5:00 with my son( his car) waited for another 1.5 hours and was told that they couldn't figure it out because the "real" mechanic was gone for the day. This morning I showed up around 10:00 and requested to speak with the manager and his attitude was far from friendly, they tried to turn the whole situation around and tried to blame it on a leaking boot. After they refused to fix the problem I was asked to leave the premises and threatened to be removed forcibly. BEWARE OF THESE THIEVES !!! Took my vehicle in due to the "check engine" light being on; after the diagnosis, I was informed that my coils had gone bad and needed to be replaced to the tune of nearly $900. I called another establishment for a second opinion and was informed that it shouldn't cost that much to replace one coil, that all of the coils will not go bad at the same time, and that the estimate probably related to the replacement of all three of the coils. Lo and behold, when I asked the Tireplus representative about this, he admitted that the cost DID include the replacement of all of the coils and they figured I would want to have them all done at the same time so that when the other coils go bad, I wouldn't have to come back in to pay for labor again. Well, I would have agreed to do this, but the point is, I felt as if I was misled. Please be upfront with your customers Tireplus - so very frustrating with I don't get the whole story. Don't always assume you know what the customer will want. Also, when the work was done on my vehicle, the radio station was tuned in to a station that was totally offensive to me. When I brought this up to one of the men up front/at the counter, I was informed that no one changed the station - which someone did in that it didn't change by itself. I was a bit perturbed by the manner in which this was handled. Additionally, I know that more and more folks are getting vaccinated to combat contracting the COVID-19 virus, but we still have to try to "stay safe". If your establishment has a sign on the entrance door that indicates masks are required, then why is it that some of those men at the front desk don't all have on masks? I do commend the two men that always seem to follow the instructions that are given to the customers, but I have noticed that one of the persons NEVER has on a mask (went back several times)! Practice what you preach, please. In any case, though I am leery about this establishment, they did seem to fix the problem; and though one of the men at the desk seems to have missed out on the "How to Provide Good Customer Service" class, the other two gentlemen were nice - and I appreciate that. Up in the air as to whether I will return to this very conveniently located auto repair shop. If I do, it may only be for quick jobs, like oil changes. For major repairs, I just don't really trust that they will be completely honest and transparent regarding the issue (should be a no-brainer for businesses, but apparently, this does not seem to be the case). read more

Recommended work is often an unnecessary set of jobs, intended to raise the take an additional nearest 1000 dollars Take the recommended work to an honest and reliable shop to verify and you'll find these to be unjustifiable or completely unwarranted. After asking about service/military/responders discounts i was told these were applied. Theres no evidence that anything of the sort was on the invoice. I reached out to thier corporate office and found that any such discounting is applicable at the store level, likewise all markup is discretionary at the store as well. I do not recommend this location for business. read more

Avoid this place! They charged me over $70 for an oil change and said my coupon didn't apply. I've patronized this established for years because it was close to my home and I usually got fast service. I recently got an oil change from Proctor Honda (love them so much) and only paid about $45 - it could've been cheaper but I forgot the coupon. Bottom line, just about every time I come here, they're trying to gouge money. For the dealer to have a better price than Tires Plus, I doubt I'll ever be back. read more

When our car would not start, we assumed it was the battery and took the battery to Pep Boys, who tested the battery and said it was good, so we had the car towed to Tires Plus assuming that alternator was defective. The service manager called us and informed us that the battery was bad and the alternator was good and that we needed over $1,000 of repairs. We had the car towed to Import Authority who installed a new alternator and confirmed that the battery was good for less than $400. When I informed Tires Plus that I was filing a complaint with Consumer Services, They refunded their $100 diagnosis fee. It is amazing that issues like this have not been reported before, and all prior reviewers were satisfied with Tires Plus. Mistakes happen, but this situation was beyond a simple diagnosis error. When we asked for a written statement of the $1,000 repairs, several of the items were missing, which Tires Plus said were estimated. We have been doing business with Tires Plus for years, and we have had problems in the past, but thought the problems were just simple mistakes. This was no simple mistake. The car is running great after Import Authority correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem. read more

Let me preface: I am easy pickings when it comes to upcharging for car services. You could charge me an arm and a leg and I would go along with it, because I wouldn't know the difference. So I REALLY appreciate it when a shop tells me I don't need certain things, or explains why there is a more cost-effective way. They literally lowered my bill because they realized they didn't have to do as much as I had made it sound like. And they did a great job, from what I can tell. My car is no longer beep-screaming at me for five different things. Jim, Terrence, and Michael were all so nice, they finished with my service in a reasonable time, and there is a Mexican restaurant next door, so you can sit there and have sangria, and they'll call you if there are any questions/issues with the car. I was so impressed. I'll be back here whenever I need something done for my car. read more

These guys did a great job. I had a damaged tire and was unable to drive the car. Needed to replace all four anyway so I research the chains and local shops as well as online and big box. Several places couldn't get me the tires the same day. Tires Plus were able to get them within an hour. On top of that they matched my best quote. Since I had to get one tire fixed first before the car was drivable, they rushed that one through in about 20 minutes on a busy Friday afternoon. Brought the car in for the other three and was done in a little more than an hour. Very friendly conversation while waiting. I was very impressed. read more

Went here to get a new tire and ended up buying tires for both my vehicle and my wife's. Now both of our tire sensors are going off and I have a terrible sound coming from my tire. Needless to say Tires Plus is saying I have a sensor going bad and I have a bad hub bearing which is another $550... Funny that none of this stuff was happening before I went here. Do yourselves a favor and go to a place that's honest. Avoid this place at all cost. It's called Tires Plus because they are going to keep adding and adding things on. I do have pictures of the work that was claimed to have been done the first time and then the second time once you corrected the problems. These people thought they could rip my girlfriend off and sell her a battery she simply did not need. They didn't think that she would have a man that would know what was going on with her vehicle. I was handed the phone to talk to the front desk guy, and he told me they would need to put in a new battery at 150 bucks for the battery. Well, the alternator was the problem. He told me that the battery was needed to charge the alternator, I said hold on, are you sure you don't have that backwards? If you pull the battery after starting the motor, the car should keep running. Then he started to get rude and said, "Since you are the expert, blah blah blah" I did! I said, let me come get the car now. I got the car back, replaced the alternator myself at a better price for the part than their quote and charged the battery. It works perfect now. That is not ethical to sell people something they simply DO NOT NEED! They should've been able to troubleshoot that it was simply the alternator failing. read more

Run, and never look back! I needed brake work. The sign outside advertised a "special" for brake work, $199.99 per axle. Never had brake work done before, so thought this might be a good deal. Dropped my car off. Got a telephone call from the mechanic a little later, telling me the calipers on my front tires had worn down the brake padding and that I needed new pads and calipers on the front. He told me the estimate would be about $600.00. Like a fool, I trusted him. He told me the rear brakes were all right, but called me later and said they looked bad too and the pads were replaced.
