I will say cheapest I found for tires but I wouldn't have them mount anything as I replaced all lug nuts in April because they tire plus told me I needed/had too. Now less then 6 months later they are being replaced again and I'm driving with 2 missing till tire plus can get new rim Tire plus told me they need to cut rim off. Rim was promised Monday that was a week ago and still no rim. Never use them again.!!!!!! Disappointed out over 1000. Dollars. Watch them round out your lugs. No phone call to let us know about not receiving our rim or any courtesy calls at all.Day 11 and still no rim and now tire plus is getting my rim from a junk yard that's not a new rim. read more

The worst service. Waited over 5 hrs. for basic service which included oil change and 4 tires. Had an appointment at 10 am and didn't get vehicle back until 5pm. They rushed to put the vehicle back together and missed proper steps in oil change which resulted in the oil drying up after 2 weeks and locking the engine. Tires plus did not take responsibility for the vehicle being totaled which, the waisted service or the long wait time of a whole day. If you want to wait hours for basic service or chance your vehicle being totaled because mechanics being rushed, then go to this place. hrs. wasted, 1200 tires plus credit card bill on service that lasted 2 weeks and a totaled car. read more

Which I couldn't afford now that I had to purchase a new car due to their negligence. o Within a short amount of time Robert finally learned how to communicate in a timely manner and denied my claim. Which shows me he saw every effort on my end to keep in touch with him but he ignored EVERYONE and did NOT, nor did anyone else at Tires Plus or Bridgestone, explain the process or what was actually happening with my claim. * No one ever gave me a manager's contact information, no one has EVER reached out to me anytime throughout the process. * Tires Plus/Bridgestone deliberately ignored my messages and calls, and purposely did not explain the whole process so they could avoid paying out the claim. * Tires Plus/Bridgestone DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! I had a front brake job done 4/2023 for about $529. My ex was driving the car at the time and picked it up after the service was done. I live in Omaha but own a house in Peoria. I got the car back after it was sitting for months after my ex complained of brake failure. I broke it down and discovered they only did the brakes on the passenger side of the car. The driver's side was disassembled and put back together with all the old parts except one disc pad. I was able to do the other side and remedy their literally incompetent half-baked work. read more

Went in to have a/c checked, was told freon was good and air compressor needed replaced. Picked suv up a/c was still blowing hot air and cruise control was on and wouldnt turn off. Took suv bavk immediately they kept it 4days and said they cldnt figure out what was wrong with it. Ben manager paid for diag at dealer.my front sensor bracket was damaged after they removed a/c compressor from front driver front wheel. The car also had zero freon in it at tht time. The car had to be towed for diag. As it would not start after they serviced. Another manager Jarad admitted issue happened at the shop. And proceeded to give me customer service number, i was told assisting me further was out of his hands. I havent spoken to anyone despite mutli calls. My suv is unsafe to drive at this point. No accountability or f/u. I will say Ben was professional as well Jarad was helpful up until damage was done. After tht alot of back tracking and excuses. read more

awful experience. mechanics on the shop floor were extremely unprofessional. taking selfies, talking crap, and joking for some time before they sent the front desk guy to tell me they couldn't work on it. they were all too ready to try to charge me after refusing service too until I got upset and stood up for myself. go anywhere but here for any vehicle needs. read more

Horrible experience I had a 10am appointment for a leak in my tire. I was told 45 mins to an hour and a half. 12:30 no call. I call them they said I was the next car to go. 2:30 no call. I call multiple times again. No answer. I had my son drive me up there. They never got to my car. The manager had no excuse except it was his fault for not keeping track of the cars. Short and sweet review. Went in to have tires replaced and rotated. Place was friendly and professional, and most if all t in melt. Took less than an hour, but all of the bays were full, so for being that busy and still only waiting less than an hour...can't complain at all. Prices are affordable and the service makes up for an doubts you may have. If in the area and need tires, will be back without a doubt. read more

I set an appointment a week prior online for a rotate and alignment. When I got there I was told they couldn't get me in. I asked if I could just get the rotate then. After checking with the tech, the advisor said he could work it in. I waited with my 7 month old at the store while no one else was in the waiting area. They rotated my tires and then made adjustments to the rear alignment. I drove home and didn't notice anything abnormal until the following day. On Saturday I noticed a clunking noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment online for as soon as possible. The next available opening was Sunday. On Sunday morning my fiance followed me in her vehicle, a vehicle I just had 4 tires installed a week prior at the same shop. While I'm on the highway, my rear left tire comes off and turns sideways getting pinned in the wheel well. The entire rear of the vehicle and tire was dragging as I'm attempting to control the vehicle and pull to the side of the highway. To add to the situation, it's snowing and the roads are slick. I attempted to contact the store, no one answered. My fiance tried, no one answered. I called customer service and they said they couldn't reach anyone at the store. My fiance called the Pekin store and spoke with Dave. Dave tried calling Tiresplus and said he also couldn't make contact with anyone. A while later while we're on the side of the road, I get a call from the Tiresplus store manager. He proceeded to tell me that he saw I made an appointment but they don't have anyone that can look at my vehicle. I then told him the situation. He apologized but gave no solutions as to what they could do other than they can't do anything today. I contacted a tow company and paid out of pocket to have it brought to the store. Approximately 2 hours later we arrived. I walked into the store while my vehicle was being unloaded infront of the building. I walked to the manager who I had spoken to. He was at the computer with no one around him. He didn't raise his head. He didn't make eye contact. He didn't acknowledge me or say a word. I stood there for a minute with nothing said to me. He then looks passed me as if I wasn't there and tells a customer across the room that her vehicle is ready. I stepped to the side and let him handle the other customer. After he was finished I told him we'll leave the vehicle since he said he doesn't have anyone to inspect it. As we're standing there a customer walks in and says she's there for her vehicle to be inspected for a clunking noise. He immediately gets her checked in. Seeing and hearing this made it obvious there was a tech available that could do more than just an oil change. I'm beyond disappointed in their service and the dangerous situation my family and I were put in. I drove a vehicle with my 7 month old not knowing the wheel could fall off at anytime. read more

Waited 20 mins to be seen for my previously scheduled appointment. Guy comes out super unfriendly, takes my keys to do the alignment and oil change. I come back 3 hrs later only to have my car continue to pull HARD to the right. Even after paying $200 to get the damn alignment. It seems that instead of diagnosing an issue, they just did what I asked. Perhaps the tires neefed balancing too, idk, I'm not a mechanic - that's why we go to mechanics to get things fixed. He never even discussed what was done or what they saw. Just took my money and said goodbye. read more

I visited tires plus a couple of times within the last month because my tires were losing air. Unaware that all four of my tires needed serviced, my initial visit consisted of one repair from corrosion. A few days after the appointment, my service light came back on and I went back for another service. I found out all four of my tires had corrosion, including the one already serviced which they repaired again free of cost. Both visits I had a good experience with the staff and would recommend them. read more

Was the only place in Peoria, IL willing to change my oil after the check oil light came on at 6PM at night. I tried both Walmart's, who claim they are available until 7pm. The Super Walmart closed 1 hour early just because and the other stated that if a customer doesn't get there by 5pm they can't schedule appointments. I was just about to give up and be stuck in town, as I was traveling, but I stopped at a gas station that recommend Tires Plus. Tires Plus's friendly staff, took care of my car's oil change and gave me a discount just to be nice. Hope they continue to proved excellent late night car repairs like they did for me. read more

Do not take your car to Tyler's have been going there for a long time with my car and I went therrebecause every time I put on my brakes they squill and They should not have been squealing because the brakes were just put on 6 months ago So they check it out and tell me it is my shops so I scheduled an appointment for them to put shocks on my car I went to the appointment 2nd time up there they put them on I get home they're still squealing I call them they said well the mechanics not there to bring it in the next day or at my convenience that was on a Saturday I take it up there the following Saturday they say well the mechanics not here today so that's my 3rd time up there I take it back on a Tuesday My 4th time up there And the other mechanic drove it put it in the garage 5 minutes later told me it was my CV axles in the rear so I scheduled an appointment for that Saturday at 1:30 to be to have him put on I get there my 5th time up there and they said I have no appointment and the parts were not ordered I'm very mad by now So they led me to believe that my car would be fixed the next day So I left my car there and I did not get my car back until Tuesday 3 days Later and my car is still squealing when I put my brakes on and it also is making a rattle noise when I hit bumps now it sounds like something is loose so I called them I told them and I also told them I will be taking it somewhere else so they obviously don't know what they're doing read more

From the Random Acts of Kindness in the PJS, I thought this belonged here ;) After having a tire blow out on our '91 van at the end of December, we called roadside assistance, and the service guy came and put on the doughnut. My husband took the van to Tires Plus on Brandywine Drive in Peoria; he was going to purchase two new tires. The service man there said we would have to have a new hub because whoever put the doughnut on failed to tighten the lug nuts properly and the rim had chewed off all but one of the studs. We didn't have the money for a new hub, and they refused to let my husband drive the van back home, saying the remaining stud was almost chewed off and was com­pletely unsafe to drive. We tried to borrow the $300 it would take to get the new hub, with no luck. Finally, my husband called Tires Plus and told them we would have to wait until next week. The lady on the phone, Kate, tried to get us on a payment plan, but our credit score was too low. She said, "let me make a few calls and see what I can do." Well, we waited all of about 20 seconds (it seemed) and she called back and said they would put the hub on at no charge! That was really the greatest thing that has happened to us in years. About an hour later she called back to say they had the hub on and they decided, since the back tires were from 2002 and were in really bad shape, to throw on two more tires on the back and even sent the tech back to pick us up so we could take the van home! All we had to pay for was the original two tires that we were going to purchase in the first place! Kate at Tires Plus is wonderful. We were back in Peoria for the weekend visiting family and noticed that on the trip down, our tire developed a huge bubble. We went to about 6 or 7 tire or auto service centers and everyone told us the tire was in no condition to drive on, but no one had a replacement tire in stock. Tires Plus was one of the last places we called, where Kate miraculously located the exact tire we needed. Tires Plus didn't have anyone working that day who had experience repairing that type of tire, but she was able to refer us to a guy at Midas who could quickly put the tire on. I highly recommend Tires Plus in Peoria! My daughter needed to replace a flat tire but needed it done quickly. We didn't realize you need to make an appointment for a simple tire change and when we walked in without an appointment they didn't have the tire we needed. They referred us to a Pekin location, but after waiting at the Pekin location for over 2 hours (under the impression that they were working on replacing the tire), they finally told me they didn't even have the tire we needed. So I went back to Tires Plus on Brandywine in Peoria and even with a completely booked schedule they went out of their way to help us. Since it was too late to order the tire and receive it that day, Allison, one of the employees, drove her personal vehicle across town to pick up our tire in person. Allison went above and beyond for us and really helped us in a tough situation!! We interacted with 3 other employees that day and ALL of them were super nice, polite, and helpful. Allison even made a point of giving us the best discount possible to save money on our tire. Nowadays it's rare to get such great customer service! If you're going to go here do yourself a favor and only go here for tires. They did a really good job installing my tires in a timely fashion, and even though the tires I was guaranteed in my online quote were discontinued they still honored my quote for more expensive tires. I also have a brake problem, but here's the thing about that. When I first was quoted for the brakes I was told I needed a full brake job, and for some reason that includes shocks and struts. Total was $1,130.18. After I went to pay and found out the whole deal about them putting different tires on than what I was quoted for, suddenly that brake quote dropped from $1,130.18 to roughly $250. Explain to me how tires have ANYTHING to do with the brakes and what the price is going to be to replace them. I would have loved to get my brakes fixed today, but after the story was changed at least 3 or 4 times I got really turned off by the idea of letting these guys do anything major with my car. Anyone can do tires. I wouldn't trust people that can't keep their story straight with brakes. All in all the front desk person was very nice. I'm very happy she still honored my quote even with the tire mistake. I just wouldn't go here for anything other than tires. Extra tidbit: A guy came in wanting a new battery. Not only was the cost of the battery through the roof but they were going to charge him $50 to put it in. Now I know most people should know how to change a battery or know 5 people who can, but $50 for a shop to put it in is ridiculous. Their tire prices are cheap and it seems the reason for that is because they want to pull your wallet straight out of your back pocket for anything else, the moment you step foot in the door. read more

I went here because I had a flat tire (run-flat tire) and they could schedule me the soonest. I also needed an oil change (they were $20 higher than the dealer) and I thought I would "kill two birds with one stone". I dropped off my car and the person behind the counter told me that it would take 1 - 1.5 hours and they would call me because I was not going to stay and sit in their "waiting area". After 2.5 hours I decided to go back and see what was taking so long and was surprised that my car was outside. When I went inside they told me my car was done (no phone call as promised) and I paid for the oil change and tire repair. I then got into my car and the flat tire alert went off immediately and I noticed that the tire was still flat! I went back inside when one of the workers called the manager back into the shop for an "emergency discussion". After their exchange, the manager came back inside to tell me they had forgotten to put some parts back on the car after the oil change! I told him that they forgot to fix my tire and he said they would do that also when they put the car back on the lift. When they raised the car I could see a bracket hanging down that could have caused some serious damage if I would have driven off. After putting the pieces back on my car the manager informed me that they couldn't / wouldn't fix my flat because the tread was too low. That is the main reason I went there - to get my tire fixed!!! I told them to rebate my money for the tire fix (this was not offered) and left very upset and concerned that they forgot to replace more parts on my car. I also called the Tires Plus main phone line to discuss my experience and the service rep told me that someone would call me within 48 hours to discuss. I was going to tell them that the people working there seemed to be trying to do their best but the processes are poor and they are trying to do too much. They are switching between roles often which will cause them to miss things like this. I never received a phone call so they are apparently not interested in feedback and making improvements to their business thus my rant here. Take your car elsewhere! read more

I wrote a review of this place earlier, thought I acted rashly and took it down. Now that I've gone through the whole experience of dealing with it and my car, I can write a more complete review. I do not recommend anybody go here. It seems the focus is on profit more than costumer service. I went here for an estimate, got told my car would be done by noon and they had it until 5pm because it still wasn't ready. More importantly they quoted me for $4,000 worth the fixes on my car and he even said it wasn't safe to drive. He said I needed rear rotors - my car doesn't have rear rotors, it has drums. I went to a local independent mechanic and he gave me an estimate of $700 to fix everything that was wrong on it. I knew places like TiresPlus up-sell in order to make more money, but wow. It was like night and day. Please, go support a family business of people who really know their stuff and want to help you. This is just my experience, but I can not in good conscience go here again or recommend that anybody go here. read more

I'm sorry. I can't recommend that anyone go here. So, I go to Tires Plus to get a new set of tires for my car. As they are changing the old tires for the new tires, I get a brake inspection. The brake inspection says that everything is perfectly fine. Just a few days later, however, I hear a very loud grinding noise from my rear tires. I take it to another shop and they report that I have no brake pads left at all. Then, when I went to the service desk at Tires Plus to complain, the individual there just brushed me off and didn't seem to care at all. It wasn't until I filled out the online survey and told of the horrible service that I got a phone call from a technician who offered me a couple of free oil changes when I get my tires rotated. I'm sorry, that's too little, too late and I won't get my car serviced there again. read more

Went there because my front tires were losing air. The mechanic came out and told me the problem. Fine. However, the mechanic going to do the work comes into the place where I work all the time. Work in the service industry. Because of that, I was a little apprehensive of him working on my car but I thought OK. When I get home, I notice my rims had a scratch on each one. Funny, because I cleaned the rims before I went to the place and the scratch wasn't there. Either the mechanic didn't know what he was doing, or he put the scratches there on purpose. I think the scratches were done on purpose for spite. read more

I was wondering if I can provide a zero-star! I had an appt at 3pm and I call up at 2.50pm to inform that I may get late by 10 min. I get a rude response from the reception saying, "We have a high volume today, so you might have to wait if u cant come in time". This was just the beginning. I reach there at 3.10pm and I was surprised to find just 2 customers (made me think of their meaning of HIGH volume). Okay.. lets move on.. I told them that I needed an oil change and a general inspection of vehicle. Receptionist asks, 'what inspection!' I was taken aback by the rude response! I have visited many workshops and garages and have seen how politely the service guys talk. Further the receptionist says that they can do a check up of tyres and other things etc. I sign up for tyre inspection and oil service. I was told that the service may take an hour, so I went to the near-by mall. I get a call saying that my tyres' wheel-caps are fastened with zip locks (yes, I had done this to protect my wheel-caps from flying away). I responded, 'its fine to have them cut-off'. And the receptionist says, 'you have to come here and cut them out'. I was like, 'dont u have a blade to cut them off?' to which she responds, 'we cant do it, if you cant come then u might have to leave the vehicle here tonight as im closing the showroom in sometime'. I was like, enough of this.. and went and got my vehicle back with only oil change. read more

My assistant and I blew a tire just outside of Peoria Illinois. We were really close to a tires plus and when I called them they just refused to even talk to me about changing the tire on my trailer. . So I called the Midas literally a block away. With exactly the same amount of space to work with they told us to carefully come on in!! They moved cars to fit us in quickly changed our tire and had us and our 7 horses back on the road in 85 degree heat!! I've been using Tires Plus for about 4 years. I have a Honda Fit that eats up tires--not my fault, not Tires Plus' fault... it's the way the car's suspension was designed. Here's the thing... every 3,000 miles, I need a rotation so I can get some wear out of tires on this Honda. And Tires Plus always schedules these and never complains, even though they make no money on them. There are several staff people here (the young lady, Katie, is tremendously knowledgeable as is a young man named Clay) that are terrific. They schedule appointments quickly, have worked me in with a flat more than once, and never act like they're doing me a favor. They've rescued me from over- and under-inflation so many times, I can't count. Even when they're busy, they're nice. And they know A LOT about tires! I went online, trying to find some tires my Honda wouldn't eat up and ran all these options (most found on owner's blogs or forums) by Tires Plus. They explained each option and how it would or wouldn't work and what the outcome would be. I even looked at tires online and talked to them about what's available for my small tire size. They know they're stuff and they've never, ever ripped me off. The road hazard is worth it. There are Tires Plus stores everywhere, so I know I won't get stuck. No complaints after 4 years with a company is unheard of. And they stick by their guarantees. Good place. read more

I went to Tires Plus for an oil change and to have my front tires checked because they were low. After they performed the requested services they told me my tires were wearing unevenly and when they were checking why they found my sway bar was busted, ball joints-front lower, and one front outer tie rod needed repair. The total for this was going to be nearly a thousand dollars. I told them to get my car down and I would take it home. I then went home and looked up prices/how long the repairs would take at maximum. I was being overcharged by two hundred dollars for parts and the labor was going to be five fifty for about four hours of work. (They could change the tie rod at the same time they did the ball joint on that side with little effort.) I called Meineke on Adams St and they put me in for a next day appointment. I went to Meineke who told me it would be five hundred dollars (right around what I thought was a fair price-including about fifty an hour for labor). Long story short they were majorly trying to overcharge me!! Glad I checked into it!! read more
