I had an extremely pleasant experience with this Tires Plus, and it started from the second I called. The woman who answered, Renada, was super professional, polite and courteous. This was a huge surprise after having intersected with the complete opposite with the TiresPlus on Conway road. She answered my questions promptly and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get a new set of tires put on. After coming in, she was just as pleasant and genuine in person. A time and amount was quoted to get the tires put on and it was done. The tires were a good deal as well. After my horrible experience with the tires plus on Conway I almost wrote off the whole brand, but she mended the view I had of Tires Plus. If only all shops had someone like Renada. I can't say much for the rest of the staff because I did t interact with them, but all of the performed tasks were done well, so they get five stars as well. read more

I'm here to warn people. I used to go to Tires Plus all the time. However, in October of 2025, I went for an oil change, and I was told that my front brakes needed to be replaced; they took me back and showed me that they were worn out. I agreed to change them. 6 months later I went for an oil change, and I was told that my rear brakes were "metal on metal," which is under 3 mm, and my front brakes were "worn." This made me suspicious right away. How can my front breaks be "worn" in 6 months if I don't drive a lot and my first breaks lasted me 6 years? My fiancé works a lot, and I don't ask him to work on my car, but he told me not to get the brakes and that he will do it himself. When he removed the rear break pads, they were halfway worn (about 5mm). Which, yes, it's halfway, but not "metal on metal." He said that I cannot go back to this shop. I purchased a new set of Firestone tires a month ago. I came in today with a flat needing to be repaired and they tried to tell me I hadn't purchased a warranty when I had been very clearly told they were under a 3 year warranty and then proceeded to tell me that since I had used fix a flat they couldn't repair the tire and I'd have to purchase an entire new tire. First off fix a flat does not ruin a tire. Second why would I pay $800 for new tires with no warranty. They'd always done me right before but evidently the scammers and hustlers are now in charge. I came to this shop and paid to have TPMS sensors installed in my tires. Later on, another shop scanned the wheels and told me there were no sensors detected at all, which immediately raised concerns since I had already paid for that service. When I went back to question it, the situation was frustrating because I was initially told that the sensors had been installed. After pushing the issue and explaining what another shop found, they eventually agreed to refund my money. I do appreciate that they refunded me in the end, but it's concerning to be told work was completed when it appears it may not have been done in the first place. Took my car for a simple oil change. Seth stated that I had a leak and that I needed my radiator replaced. I normally just get oil changed there and not anything else because I have a mechanic that I use and have been using for many years, my mechanic was on vacation And decided to give tires plus a chance. I decided to move forward with the repairs. I picked up the car and Seth stated to me that there were NO MORE ACTIVE LEAKS in my car! I said great and I paid the bill. I am 7.5 months pregnant and it was such a strong smell. I called to let them know and the woman on the phone named Marianna said "I don't know what you want me to do" she told me a 19year old boy was working on my car and "couldn't even buy those" (trust me they can find it somewhere) still, my car smells of cigarettes and I was dismissed from any help. I have a red 1991 miata that I knew had SOME kind of coolant issue but couldn't figure it out. After my inspection at Tires Plus, I was quoted nearly $4k for work (that is including their GLORIOUS discounts by the way!) They also were trying to put the WRONG oil in. YOU CANNOT finance work done UNLESS you get their credit card and use that. The prices quoted for parts are unbelievably expensive, like $355 for a radiator?? I got a performance one for less than $100 from Rock Auto. They either overfilled my oil or just completely left the cap open cause oil was sprayed everywhere?? They misplaced my original oil cap and just put a generic one that is no where close to the quality that the Mazda one was. A small shop I got recommended it was less than $1k for all of the parts + labor. Even gave me step by step process on what they were doing and are in constant communication about what I can do to keep it running. Beware of Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd - Potential Scam I recently visited the Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd in Orlando for a wheel alignment. They offered a free general inspection, and since my Toyota Sienna 2023 only had 59,000 miles at the time, I thought it would be fine. After the service, they presented me with photos of my rear shocks, claiming they were leaking. They then gave me a quote for various other services that supposedly needed to be done. I was suspicious because Toyotas rarely have shocks problems, especially with such low mileage and considering the excellent road conditions in Orlando. I decided not to go ahead with the $1,200 service. They immediately offered me a credit card, saying I could pay in 6 interest-free installments if I did the work with them. They offer this credit card every time you inquire about anything there. I decided to take my car to a Toyota dealership for a proper inspection. The report came back stating that my shocks were perfect and that none of the services suggested by Tires Plus were necessary. In other words, I almost fell victim to a scam. Beware of Tires Plus! They will likely tell you that your car needs services, but don't believe them. Always take your car to a dealership for a second opinion. Don't let Tires Plus try to deceive you as they did with me. I strongly advise against having any work done at businesses that use false diagnoses to make money. If you choose to accept their service recommendations, do so at your own risk! Hands down one of the worst experiences at an automotive establishment I've ever had. Was driving to Orlando for HHN when my tire pressure light came on, as to not risk anything, I pulled off to the nearest tires place which was this one. After waiting about an hour. They told me my tire pressure is fine, but that my back to tires needed to be replaced because the tread was low (they showed me) which I was fine with. Got my two back tires replaced and went on my way. As soon as I left the lot. My wheel was shaking. I didnt have time to go back as we had to get to Universal, called them immediately and they said to bring it back in the morning. I went back and after waiting an hour again, they tell me that my front drivers side tire is separating. Separating?! Yall didn't see that when I was here the day before? They explained to me that after doing a tire rotation and bringing a back tire to the front, that I would now feel it more.....I didnt get a tire rotation. I got two brand new back tires. I asked to see this separated tire and when I went into the garage they changed their story from "its not separated, its deformed." I asked them to show me, but they couldn't. I didn't want to drive all the way back to Fort Lauderdale with a shaky wheel. So I had no choice but to get the third tire replaced. At this point I'm fuming. I drive the 3 hours home and as SOON as I get off the highway, my steering wheel starts shaking again. I call the Orlando location and they advise me I just have to go to another Tires Plus in my area...not their problem anymore, right? I go to another Tires Plus and lo and behold my FOURTH tire is now also deformed and I need it replaced. Unbelievable. My vehicle was doing absolutely no shaking before going to Tires Plus and I regret it so much. I went in for a tire pressure light which they said wasn't even an issue and I should have just left the shop when I had the chance. Almost $800 later, I have new tires that I didn't actually need. Worst customer service, worst communication, worst empathy. These guys earn their 2 stars when they start to talk. I have had tires put on by them in the past. Price wasn't good but I knew I had to get tires, so I did it. However, when I came in today, I had a tire that was going up and down with tire pressure. They found a screw in it. Ok, just repair it. But no. They marked up my tire saying that on the edge, the wear was more than allowed to remove the screw and repair it. Uh, the center of the tread was very good. But the continued to measure only the edge tread. Then they said the lines on the side of the tire was showing separation. Be careful when using Tires Plus on Kirkman Road. I took my car there to have a front-end alignment and tire rotation. I was quoted 189.99 for a lifetime alignment, and 23.12 for a tire rotation and tax would be added. After the job was completed, I was charged an additional 17.05 for shop fees. I don't understand what shop fees would be for as there was no oil disposal or tire disposal. My husband called and spoke with a manager named Jonathan ( who is the person I dealt with when I took my car) who claims to have quoted the shop fees in the beginning, but he did not. Picked up a bolt with a 3 inch head while pulling into the Universal Resort parking garage and had Tesla roadside drop off my car at this location for a possible patch (I knew with the size and placement of the bolt, this would be unlikely due to experience in the industry) but would've taken the risk to get back to Fort Lauderdale as it was only an overnight trip and could get a new tire on Monday. Shortly after the car arrived I reached out and they confirmed that the tire was unrepairable due to diameter of the bolt but told me that they could order a tire for early AM delivery, without any hiccups that tire arrived around 10am and was mounted by 11am which was confirmed via phone call while I was enjoying myself at Epcot ... this gave me a great sigh of relief and saved the weekend! Arrived at my car after day at the park and found the tire to be exactly as discussed with a quality installation. Took my 22 VW ACS to TP on Kirkman & was advised I needed a water pump. I was quoted $1800 and a 3.5 hr job. Took it back the very next day for repair and waited from 8:20 am - 3:27pm. Only around 1 o'clock, I ask Shawn what the eta for completion was told they were having problems calibrating the car back to temp. When they finish the car a little after 3, I drove away and by the time I get to the stop sign my EPC and RPM light comes on, I go back and tell Shawn & he stated they were trying to finish it since I had a 4pm appt, I tell him I didn't want them to rush and mess up my car. I leave the car overnight for them to check what was going on. Seth calls around 11am Sunday morning to tell me the car was ready and the code they were getting was a VVT (or smthg) code. They would need to call VW the next day to get a quote on part and that code had nothing to do with the water pump system they did. We exchange words after I tell him they messed up my car, he in turns tells me they spent 8 hrs on my car so I tell him that had nothing to do with me and shows that they did not know what they were doing. I take the car straight to VW and leave it for them to evaluate the next day. They did not connect a piece back on and the car was not bought back to temp correctly. I call and make a complaint w/ cust care, within 2 hours of making the complaint Seth calls me to deny my request to cover the cost for VW assessing the vehicle as he told me I needed to have them check the car since it had a warranty....well I did and was told they did nothing wrong and the code had nothing to do with what they did. I have escalated the issue and to this day I have not heard back from the GM or anyone above mgmt at that store. My car hasn't been driven since they repaired the water pump system. Went to this location a few weeks ago for a new tire. It was the closest to my work and I didn't want to risk driving on I4. I had about a 2 inch (not deep) gash in my front right tire. Told the gentlemen on the phone about it, I believe it was Frank. He verified that yes I would need a new tire and that I of course could bring it in immediately. Brought it in, had another conversation about it being my front right tire, got my new tire, signed a paper and was on my way. This is where I messed up by trusting that a place called Tires Plus knew what they were doing with Tires. The man didn't go over anything on the paper with me and it was my fault for assuming the business had their clients best interest in mind. They had made notes that I needed a new battery and also new right rear tire. That was what I was under the impression of. They didn't put a new battery in so why would I assume those two notes should be treated differently when he didn't go through anything. I get in my car yesterday only to have my low light tire come back on. I check my tires. Same gash is still on my front right tire. They put the new tire on my back right wheel. A tire that I had just bought and had a warranty on from a different business. I call and ask what they can do for me. They say nothing until they see the car. I need to bring it in to double check even though I was telling them on the phone that the new brand tire is on the back. Shawn "fixed" our minivan in January of this year, replacing my alternator. Two months later the alternator fails. I went to a Tires Plus back in South Florida and was informed that not only was my part picked up from Auto Zone ($100 upcharge) but it was the least dependable of all the available choices. So my local Tires Plus calls Shawn and was told by Shawn that my circumstance was just "too bad" even though the part is under warranty. So now I'm hassling with the corporate office to get my $500+ repair refunded. Shawn brags that his store is the busiest in the region. I thought I'd obtained a reputable mechanic. The alternator was replaced and the car still had the same problem. They told me that the battery was dead too and tried to sell me a battery that was under a "full replacement warranty". Came to the store to get a tire patched. I told the person at the counter that I plugged it and he told me it couldn't be patched because the plug gunked up the area where the patch would go. They can rob you blind! I went in with one noise issue and came out with two more noises and close to $3K in debt after going there about three times in one week to try to resolve it. Instead of trying to find out the cause of the problem, they tried out "manufacturer recommendations", and each one of these is over 1k. If you end up hiring them, I suggest not to pay anything until you test your car, because they would claim to have fixed it when they have not. If they mess with your wheels, you'll likely find them grinding afterward, and you will have to go back to get them adjusted. This is not a go one time, and have it fixed- place. CONSUMER BEWARE. Terrible business practices at this store. Go literally anywhere else. Like the other recent reviews posted of this store, I also just had a terrible experience here. Manager Joseph Glover should not be working in a customer-facing environment. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store over the past 4 years or so having 3 vehicles serviced for tires and oil changes. Today's experience solidified me never returning, which is a real shame considering I live so close by. Took my car in for an oil change and to have a simple windshield wiper arm swap done on a hatchback...or so I thought. At the counter when I arrived, I told the female associate that I had the replacement wiper arm part from Ford. She told me they could do it as long as the part isn't aftermarket and that they'd charge $23 for an assessment then they'd call me to quote the labor charge. I told her that it's a brand-new OEM Ford part in its original box, still sealed. She said "perfect, that should be no problem". I had left the part at home so I went home and got it, returning about 10 minutes later with it and dropped the car off. About 2 hours later I get a call back. They say they can't do the oil change due to a check engine light code reading a misfire. I'd later get home and plug in my own OBDII scanner and this wasn't even true. The only code displayed is for an exhaust purge valve, they could have done the oil change. They then tried to upsell me some random things like tie rods, a new oil pan, valve cover gasket. I declined all, as I knew the tie rods were definitely a lie. I just had ball joints and control arms done a few thousand miles ago and the Ford dealer tech specifically told me the tie rods were in great shape. I had specifically asked about them. Then, the tech tells me they can't replace the wiper arm. I told him it wasn't aftermarket, it's a genuine Ford part still in sealed box with Ford logo and part # on it. He tells me the only way they could do it would be if I bought the same part from them directly. So, I go back to the store to pick up the car after a waste of time and no service being provided. To add insult, the manager, Joseph Glover, refuses to return my vehicle to me unless I pay the $23 assessment fee. I explain the situation- why would I go home and bring back the wiper arm unless the associate told me they could do the work? He gets the associate and now she says "oh I thought you meant we were going to see if we could repair the one that's already on there"...I told her it was snapped in half and I have a brand new Ford part, sealed in box from the get-go. We literally discussed this. Even if you look at it in the most optimistic light and call it a misunderstanding and not the rip-off it clearly is, any reasonable manager would remove the charge. But Joseph Glover goes one step further and even threatens to call the police if I don't pay the $23. He says "we inspected the vehicle" as justification. Wow. It's honestly not about the $23. It's about the way I was treated by Joseph Glover and the business. I can't believe ripping off a customer for $23 is worth losing my business forever. And I'm not one of those people who is on here BSing about how much they've spent there before and being a Karen about it. I've special ordered 4 sets of pricy Michelin tires through this store in the past, I've always taken all 3 of my cars here for oil changes and minor suspension work. Years of what I believed to be a good customer-business relationship gone over something so small just to make a quick buck. Time to find a new tire shop that appreciates my business.
