    over charged me for parts and would not provide an itemized receipt when I requested one. get a second opinion before trusting them to work on your car

    I've been a loyal customer of this shop for over 3 years, regularly bringing both of my vehicles (a 2018 Honda Civic and a 2020 Toyota Corolla). But after my most recent experience, I won't be coming back. On July 1st, I took my Civic in for a noise when accelerating. They told me it was the belt and replaced it. Two weeks later, the noise was still exactly the same. I returned, and this time they said it was the belt tensioner. I dropped the car off at 9:30 a.m. and picked it up at 4:30 p.m., but the sound persisted. The car was in the shop all day, and they didn't even bother to test it before or after the job. When I noticed the issue remained, I immediately went back. The manager assisted me, but when I explained that the noise only happens when the car is moving, he refused to test drive or properly inspect it. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he just said he would refund the money--with a rude and dismissive attitude. And worst of all: before I left, the manager made hand gestures as if he was kicking me out, waving me away with a "shh shh shh" motion, without even saying anything. Completely disrespectful and humiliating for any customer--especially one who has trusted this shop for years. Total lack of professionalism, zero accountability, and no respect for the customer. I didn't just waste time and patience--I left with the problem unresolved. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

    Always looking out for the customer - and prices are extremely fair. Our luxury cars (BMW & Lexus) are entrusted much more here than at their corresponding dealerships, as the customer is experience is out of this world! We had to wait a bit, and were offered a FREE Uber ride all the way back home. That was not an obligation, and we much appreciated it. The lobby is welcoming with available refreshments and super smiles from everyone. Here, there is nothing to hide, as all is visible right from the lobby, so that you know that your car is in great hands. Plus, they walk you through the bay to show you exactly all that will be done/ has been done to your car. Highly recommend, even if it may seem it is not in the greatest of areas - you are in great hands! Totally safe, clean and friendly!

    I really wanted to like this place. The customer service agent that helped me was nothing but courteous and helpful. The waiting area is very clean and you would never think you were at an auto shop. However, that's about as far as I can say, was good. I already had an idea that a wheel bearing was going bad and after evaluation by their mechanic, it was confirmed. They suggested replacing both and after considering things, I agreed. Even though there was nothing really wrong with my other bearing, I might as well. We opted to wait for the repair at home since I was told it would probably take the rest of the day. The following day, I still had not heard anything. I called three times, before I was told they'd had a "hiccup". The tech snapped my axle when installing the new parts and they would replace it at their cost. Okay. No problem. Waited and waited. No phone call. Called them an hour prior to closing to be told they just got the parts and it would be done first thing the next morning. Finally picked it up the next day and drove the 2 miles home. The next day, my wife and I leave our garage and immediately have to stop due to a strange noise coming from the front. I look and my brake caliber is almost completely off the rotor. I call and they say they will send a tow truck. An hour goes by; nothing. Hour and 30 minutes, I call back requesting the tow truck contact info to get an update. 3 hours later, we are back at the shop. The truck goes on the lift, and turns out they never attached my brake calipers at all. They ordered and replaced the missing parts and gave a partial refund. Also wheels scratched. However, I will not be coming back(except to fix anything covered by the warranty) and will not be recommending them to anyone.

    If I could leave ZERO stars I would. C&G has caused over $4,000 in damages while my car was in their possession. The manager PHILIP and advisor DAVID are beyond unprofessional and unethical, they flat out lied to me saying these damages where there before... Meanwhile I just had my car at another shop a few days before who did a thorough inspection and these problems did not exist until after C&G Auto tore my engine apart. Every single thing that went wrong within 1 day after leaving C&G AUTO was directly caused due to their SLOPPY, SHODDY WORK on replacing the VALVE COVERS GASKETS (WHICH CONTINUES TO LEAK OIL). THEY BROKE MY COOLANT LINES, WATER PUMP, SEVERED BREATHER TUBE, LEFT RADIATOR GRILL AND AIR INTAKE SHATTERED TO PIECES. ALSO, I SPENT $2K for them to replace the upper control arms and bushings, radius arm bushings which WERE NEVER REPLACED!!! My suspension is still shot! (I had my car up on the lift at another shop that verified this) C&G Auto clearly lacks professionalism and expertise to work on European cars, as they claimed to specialize in AUDI repairs. I caught them in so many lies on the repairs they did to my car, they will gaslight you to death instead of taking accountability. After being misled multiple times, I requested to speak directly with the OWENER or upper management, but the only person to talk to me was the same manager Phillip who continues to provide false information (YOU HAVE TO TALK TO ME MENTALITY) He claimed that the "corporate office" would reach out in 30-60 days which was another delay tactic and more misinformation because they have no corporate office. It has now been three months, and I haven't received any communication from their "corporate office or owner" This isn't just a minor issue; they have caused THOUSANDS of dollars in damage to my car. I feel deceived and regret having fallen for their "friendly customer service" shtick. If the actual owner of this business see this. I hope you will do the right thing before I proceed with legal action.

    If you value your vehicle, do not take it to this business…read more I bought a deal they had on Groupon for an oil change. I had to call four separate times just to schedule a basic oil change. Each time, I was given a different excuse as to why they could not perform the service. Eventually, I was told to call back on Thursday to schedule for Friday -- which I did exactly as instructed. When I called back, they again asked for my vehicle's make and year. At that point, I was told the promotional deal only applied to vehicles 2015 and newer. This restriction was never mentioned during any of my previous calls, nor is it stated anywhere in the advertised description. To introduce new conditions at the last minute is dishonest and completely unacceptable -- especially for something as routine as an oil change. Despite the red flags, I proceeded with the service. When I returned home, I checked the oil level because by that point I had zero confidence in the quality of their work. The oil level was nearly a full inch above the maximum fill line. Overfilling engine oil is not a minor mistake -- it can cause serious damage to an engine. This level of negligence is alarming. The owner was busy talking on his phone throughout the service, and it is clear he either failed to properly check the oil level afterward or could not be bothered to correct it. Either explanation is unacceptable. Had I not double-checked their work, my engine could have suffered significant damage. That is not just poor service -- it is reckless. I strongly urge others to think carefully before trusting this business with their vehicle.
