Many other shops would have stuck to their quotes and changed the extra $125. These folks really care for their customers well. Love this place- it is definitely not the most appealing place- it looks more like an old run down (closed) gas station, which is basically what it is... Once I made an appointment for new breaks, and if they had time also an oil change, but I needed the truck back the next day so brakes were priority. We dropped it off the night before so they'd have it the full day. They called us right at the end of business and said they got the oil change done but not the brakes. That was really annoying because we'd made it clear the brakes were the main thing, so I had to make another appointment for another day (which I made at Japanese Motor Works, where I great service btw). But that wasn't the last straw. The last straw was when my husband took his Mini in for an oil change today and he was charged $115! He asked for an itemized bill, and was shocked to see he was charged $75 for labor; for an Oil Change! They gave some BS about doing an inspection and the computer took a while to clear, and my husband pointed out that the order didn't include an inspection, just an oil change. They said the inspection was 'standard' and refused to budge on the bill. For a place that was rated so high, we were shocked at what terrible service we've gotten and how dishonest they are. Maybe Joe's was a good place once, but now apparently they're crooks.
