**Extremely Disappointed and, Quite Honestly, Terrified**…read more I originally purchased my tires from Bulldog Tire Shop in April 2026. I returned in late May for my complimentary oil change and tire rotation. Everything seemed fine when I left, but shortly afterward, I began hearing a noise coming from around my tires. I was also informed that one of the lug nuts/bolts had been stripped and that Bulldog would order a replacement. What makes this even more frustrating is that **I was not informed about the stripped lug nut/bolt before leaving Bulldog.** I only became aware of the issue after noticing the noise and questioning it. I drove it again before I left, and the noise went away... temporarily! While I was on I-75, the noise came back and this time it was much worse. It became increasingly concerning and honestly scared everyone in my vehicle. I was so worried about what was happening that I had to get off the interstate and find the nearest tire shop. **Thank God for Mavis Tires.** When I arrived at Mavis, they inspected my vehicle and discovered that **ALL of the lug nuts/bolts on the driver's side were completely loose.** I mean ALL of them. They were so loose that I could remove them myself **without any tools.** At that moment, it hit me just how close I could have been to losing my life and potentially the lives of my passengers or someone else on the highway. This was not a minor inconvenience. **This was a serious safety issue that could have had a catastrophic outcome.** When I returned to Bulldog to pick up the replacement, the manager's response was simply, **"I'm sorry."** That was essentially it. After something this serious something that could have resulted in me or someone else losing their life I expected much more than an apology. I expected accountability, an explanation of how this happened, and some reassurance that steps would be taken to make sure it never happens to another customer. I now have a brand-new set of tires with a warranty, yet I **do not feel comfortable allowing anyone at this location to touch my tires or my vehicle again.** That is extremely disappointing because I should be able to trust the shop that installed my tires to ensure they are properly secured and that my vehicle is safe before sending me back onto the road. I don't know if this was a training issue, a lack of proper inspection, improper installation, or something else, but **something needs to change.** A mistake involving improperly secured wheels isn't something that should be taken lightly. I am grateful that I heard the noise, trusted my instincts, and found another tire shop before something happened on the interstate. **I could have lost my life. Literally.** Unfortunately, based on my experience, **I cannot recommend Bulldog Tire Shop to anyone.** If you have had work done here, I strongly encourage you to have your lug nuts and wheels checked by another qualified professional. **Buyers beware. Your safety is too important to leave to chance.**

Loved coming here and will definitely be back…read more I got my oil change and had my tires rotated. I haven't changed my brakes since I purchased my car (60,000 miles ago), and I was having no issues but asked them to check them out for me. I was cautious in doing this, because I know businesses want to make money and may tell me they need to be changed even when they don't. I got a call a few hours later (they were pretty busy when I pulled in), and told me my brakes were fine and my car was ready. I know I shouldn't expect people to screw me over, but they definitely could have and chose not to. I also had a sticker (which the last TWO oil changes I got forgot and I had to go back for one), and they reset my oil life monitor (which no one ever does and I usually have to do myself). What really told me this was the place I'll be coming from now on is that when I picked up my car, there was a young man in the lobby questioning whether they actually needed an air filter in their car or Precision was just trying to up-sell them. The guy looked over and said sir, we don't have to, but I will show you your dirty one and if you've been getting worse gas mileage, that's why. Super nice, and the patience won me over :)

I then called the shop directly, and mentioned that I had a coupon, and I also told them the year make and model of my vehicle to make absolutely certain that the coupon would be valid for me, and in his exact words the gentleman on the phone told me that nothing about my car would affect the validity of the coupon. When I arrived and offered the coupon to the gentleman in the front, I was told that because my vehicle takes full synthetic oil that the coupon would not be valid at first I shrugged and figured I might not have read it completely. well I decided to re-read the coupon And mention to him that nowhere on the coupon does it say anything about conventional or full synthetic oil. So I asked my wife to send me a picture of the coupon book and it also said absolutely nothing about oil type requirements there either. It's important to note that I drive a very basic Toyota car nothing fancy so when he then told me that they could do an oil change for $94 which is more than I have ever paid for an oil change in my life, I immediately walked out. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but I think it does speak to the quality of either their character or their writing comprehension. I went to express oil change and tire engineers one block down from them and got treated right for a much more reasonable price.

TL;DR - Forgot to…read moreput hubcaps back on - Tire light still on even after 20 miles - Damaged a TPMS sensor and charged us for it - Misquoted - No compensation - Don't go here Where to begin. My wife went in because of a nail in one tire, and we ended up replacing three since the tread was low. I was on the phone with a guy who quoted me $307, saying that included tires, labor, balancing, and disposal, so I approved it. My wife comes home and hands me the receipt: $407. I understand the $307 was a rough estimate, but not $100 off. I added up the receipt myself, including discounts, and before tax it should have been around $319.41, which is about $12 higher from the original quote. Looking closer, I also see an additional $59.99 charge for a TPMS replacement. I asked my wife what happened, and she said they told her, "It fell off when they took the tire off and it was in pieces." I've personally worked as an automotive mechanic for years, done a lot of tire work, and broken my share of TPMS sensors. I have never seen or heard of that happening. I have seen them break during dismounting or bead breaking. Mistakes happen, just replace it and move on. Instead, we were charged for it. On top of all that, they forgot to put the hubcaps back on, and the tire light was still on after driving about 20 miles. That's low-quality service, plain and simple. The next day: I went back myself to get the hubcaps and have the charges explained. I spoke with a very sweet lady at the counter who asked me to wait for the guy from the day before. When he came out, he immediately jumped into the TPMS issue with no greeting, no empathy, just flat. No worries, some people are like that. I first mentioned the hubcaps, which he said he would put back on, then we talked about the tire light. He told me he couldn't get the sensor to connect with the scan tool and that it failed to communicate. My wife later told me he had simply told her to drive it for about 20 minutes and made no mention of that, which seems like a pretty important detail. Then we got back to the TPMS replacement. His story was similar to what my wife was told, except now he said the technicians found the sensor rolling around inside the tire and that it was in pieces. Here's the issue with that explanation. TPMS sensors, especially metal-stemmed ones, are physically bolted to the valve stem. They don't detach without force. They also live inside a sealed, pressurized environment filled with nothing but air. There is nothing inside a tire that would cause a sensor to break apart on its own. If a sensor were somehow loose or fractured before service, the tire light would have come on well before we ever brought the car in. He also claimed it broke where it connects to the stem. That type of failure is far more consistent with damage during tire removal than with spontaneous failure. Corrosion-related failures usually involve air leaks or slow pressure loss, not a sensor suddenly breaking into pieces inside the tire. I pointed out that the sensor was working fine prior to service and that the tire light was not on before we came in. He responded, paraphrasing, "That's because it was still attached. The sensor was working, but it fell off when they took the tire off." So, the sensor worked perfectly until the exact moment the tire was removed, at which point it somehow fell off and broke apart. That explanation simply does not line up. At this point, he was not taking responsibility and showed no apology, not about the sensor, the hubcaps, or the tire light. No compensation was offered. I told him to put the hubcaps back on and get the tire light working. They did, and somehow, magically, the light went off this time. After that, the guy didn't even bother to speak with me again. He was nowhere to be found. The same sweet lady from earlier came out, told me it was done, and apologized, which is exactly what should have happened in the first place. He never gave his name, but he is easy to identify: bald, with a very long beard. My rating is easily a 0. Don't go here unless you are okay with low-quality work and being charged for mistakes made during service.
